What is KINGDOM LIVING? (Part 7)

PRAYER is KINGDOM LIVING. In the Bible, Grace portrays KINGDOM LIVING through a perpetual state of JOY in PRAYER. KINGDOM LIVING is a CONSTANT and ETERNAL COMMUNION (ongoing conversation) with the TRINITY; PRAYER IS A FOR GIVEN gift of HIS GRACE from our LOVING FATHER.

"With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints," Ephesians 6:18

FOLLOWERS of CHRIST, the NEW CREATIONS, are FOR GIVEN and FOR KNOWN by God our Father, foreknown and predestined to be conformed and transformed into HIS IMAGE, LIKENESS, and CHARACTER.

"And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom HE FORKNEW, He also PREDISTINED to become CONFORMED TO THE IMAGE of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;" Romans 8:28-29

Prayer allows those CHOSEN BY GOD to JOIN THE NEW CREATION and to LIVE ETERNALLY IN HIS JOY, even NOW... Today...

"pray without ceasing;" 1 Thessalonians 5:17

We are the MANY BRETHREN! That is something to be JOY FULL ABOUT! DON'T YOU AGREE?

"Therefore you too have grief now; but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one will take your joy away from you." John 16:22

JOYFUL PRAYER is a profound engagement with Heaven by Heaven, a place where WE RECEIVE the JOY of GOD with humble gratitude.

"For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, so that the surpassing greatness of the power will be of God and not from ourselves;" 2 Corinthians 4:8-10

This article represents one post in a series of articles attempting to answer “What is KINGDOM Living?” For a deeper understanding of this article, consider visiting “What is KINGDOM Living Part 1,” “Part 2,” “Part 3,” “Part 4,” "Part 5," and "Part 6."

God's transformative process emphasizes THE ROLE OF PRAYER IN OUR LIVES, highlighting a purposeful alignment with God's will, our connection to the Trinity, and the abundance of grace and goodness it brings.

"For we who live are constantly being delivered over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh. So death works in us, but life in you." 2 Corinthians 4:11-12

KINGDOM LIVING, as described here, is a continuous, joyful, and never-ending communion with God through prayer, ultimately leading to a life filled with His love, goodness, and transformation.

"But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written, “I believed, therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore we also speak, knowing that He who raised the Lord Jesus will raise us also with Jesus and will present us with you. For all things are for your sakes, so that the grace WHICH IS SPREADING to more and more people may cause the giving of thanks to abound to the glory of God." 2 Corinthians 4:13-15

The Father beautifully encapsulates the essence of HIS ETERNAL GOODNESS in KINGDOM LIVING through prayer, offering a profound perspective on how beautiful He really is, and that HE IS ALWAYS WITH US, and IN US, especially when we navigate the rough waters in this temporary world.

"Therefore we do not lose heart, but though our outer man is decaying, yet our inner man is being renewed day by day. For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal." 2 Corinthians 4:16-18

KINGDOM LIVING is PRAYER, Joyful PRAYER! PRAYER is ENGAGING HEAVEN, where we RECEIVE HIS JOY with humble gratitude!

"Even those I will bring to My holy mountain And MAKE THEM JOYFUL IN MY HOUSE OF PRAYER. Their burnt offerings and THEIR SACRIFICES will be acceptable on My altar; For MY HOUSE will be called a HOUSE OF PRAYER for ALL THE PEOPLES.” Isaiah 56:7

KINGDOM LIVING is a Continual JOY in PRAYER that Never Ceases

"Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship." Romans 12:1

TO REALLY KNOW KINGDOM LIVING and PRAYER, take a time out to soak in the following Scriptures.

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

They are PRAYERS to the Church at Ephesus from the Apostle Paul. NOTICE THEY ARE SUPERNATURAL KINGDOM PRAYERS. They are PRAYERS of ALIGNMENT and intimate personal KNOWLEDGE OF GOD HIMSELF.

"I pray that the EYES OF YOUR HEART BE ENLIGHTENED, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of HIS INHERITANCE IN THE SAINTS," Ephesians 1:18

"FOR THIS REASON I bow my knees before the Father, from whom EVERY FAMILY in heaven and on earth derives its name, that HE WOULD grant you, ACORDING TO THE RICHES of His glory, to be strengthened WITH POWER through HIS SPIRIT in the inner man, so that Christ may DWELL IN YOUR HEARTS through FAITH; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to COMPREHEND with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and TO KNOW the love of Christ which SURPASSES KNOWLEDGE, that YOU MAY BE filled up to ALL THE fullness of God. Now TO HIM who IS ALBE to do far more ABUNDANTLY beyond all that WE ASK OR THINK, according to THE POWER that WORKS WITHIN US, TO HIM BE the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen." Ephesians 3:14-21

When we engage the KINGDOM of GOD we are willingly aligning of OUR WILL with GOD’S WILL as we enter by FAITH with PRAYERFUL JOY.

"and though you have not seen Him, YOU LOVE HIM, and though you do not see Him now, but BELIEVE IN HIM, you greatly REJOICE with JOY INEXPRESSIBLE and full of GLORY," 1 Peter 1:8

For ALL OF HUMANITY, every single man, woman, and child, there will be two choices between two KINGDOMS.

"FOR IN HIM WE LIVE AND MOVE AND EXIST, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children." Acts 17:28

We can choose THEIR KINGDOM, the TRINITY’s KINGDOM, or ours. I HUMBLY choose THEIRS!

"YOUR KINGDOM come. Your will be done, ON earth as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:10

Prayer and JOY collide in the KINGDOM of GOD, as we become ONE with God’s WILL (THE MINISTRY OF THE TRINITY) and we live in and move from HIM, in love. God’s WILL is His Kingdom.

"He went away again a second time and prayed, saying, “My Father, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, YOUR WILL BE DONE.” Matthew 26:42

May God’s WILL BE DONE, on Earth as it IS in Heaven, THROUGH JOYFUL PRAYER! Remember, JOY is not a feeling or an emotion, it’s a KNOWING with COMPLETE CONFIDENCE.

"Then our mouth was filled with laughter And our tongue with JOYFUL SHOUTING; Then they said among the nations, “THE LORD HAS DONE great things for them.” Psalms 126:2

What is prayer? What is JOY? Have you ever asked yourself, “what is PRAYER?” Or, “What is JOY?” If you did, you’d be normal.

"And my God will supply ALL YOUR NEEDS according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19

The answer is very simple. Prayer IS KINGDOM LIVING, it’s where Heaven meets Earth, and JOY spills out. PRAYER and JOY is KNOWING that God loves us and has delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and translated us into the KINGDOM of HIS BELOVED SON!

"These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full." John 15:11

Prayer is the STATE of HUMILITY, thanksgiving, gratitude, and DISCOVERY… Prayer is a place where we are WITNESSES of and to God's absolute goodness.

"fixing our eyes on Jesus, THE AUTHOR and PERFECTOR of faith, who FOR THE JOY set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and HAS sat down at the right hand of the throne of God." Hebrews 12:2

When we pray, we acknowledge God's infinite love, mercy, and patience for us as we actively receive HIS GOODNESS with JOY and thanksgiving.

"And we know that GOD CAUSE ALL THINGS to WORK TOGETHER FOR GOOD to those who LOVE GOD, to those WHO ARE CALLED according to HIS PURPOSE." Romans 8:28

Prayer is the place where we are grateful for everything, grateful for every single thing in our lives. I mean EVERYTHING! Prayer is spiritual, continual, constant, and NEVER CEASES. Prayer is KNOWING that OUR SPIRIT communions continually with the TRINITY, and it never ends and will never end.

"and though you HAVE NOT SEEN HIM, you love Him, and though you DO NOT SEE HIM NOW, BUT BELIEVE IN HIM, you greatly REJOICE with JOY INEXPRESSIBLE and FULL of GLORY," 1 Peter 1:8

Prayer is the Place of Absolute Thanksgiving

"EVERY GOOD THING GIVEN and EVERY PERFECT GIFT IS FROM ABOVE, coming down from the FATHER of LIGHTS, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow." James 1:17

THROUGH PRAYER, we realize everything we have is a gift of His love; literally, everything in our life, every breath, and every thought is a gift from God. GOD IS THE GIFT GIVER, and we are MADE IN HIS IMAGE.

"Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you at the proper time, casting ALL your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. But resist him, FIRM IN YOUR FAITH, knowing that the same experiences of suffering are being accomplished by your brethren who are in the world. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, WILL HIMSELF perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. To Him be dominion forever and ever. Amen." 1 Peter 5:6-11

Prayer is the continual ministry of the Trinity, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit interceding on our behalf. Through prayer, WE JOIN the TRINITY’s eternal ongoing and forever love and care for us!

"Go therefore and MAKE DISCIPLES of all the nations, BAPTIZING them IN THE NAME of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit," Matthew 28:19

Prayer is the continual Spiritual connection with the TRINITY. Prayer is SPIRITUAL, a perpetual and eternal connection with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, given to us as a free gift of Grace.

"You hide them in the SECRET PLACE of Your presence from the conspiracies of man; You keep them secretly in a shelter from the strife of tongues." Psalms 31:20

Prayer is a one-way street but a two-way connection. God made the connection possible and then KEEPS the connection WIDE OPEN ALWAYS through THE SPIRIT. God is the connection and the connector; in REST, we WITNESS HIS GOODNESS.

"For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, GOD DID: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the Law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit." Romans 8:3-4

HE DID IT. Jesus restored the connection Adam and Eve lost, the connection of GRACE (God's empowerment and life).

"But the free gift is not like the transgression. For if by the transgression of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, abound to the many. The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one transgression resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the free gift arose from many transgressions resulting in justification. For if by the transgression of the one, death reigned through the one, much more those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ. So then as through one transgression there resulted condemnation to all men, even so through one act of righteousness there resulted justification of life to all men." Romans 5:15-18

Prayer is entering into God's SECRET PLACE, Eden to communion with Him. Jesus is our Teacher, our Rabbi, and He meets with His students, His DISCIPLES, us, in the Father's SECRET PLACE.

"But you, when you pray, go into YOUR INNER ROOM, close your door and pray to your Father WHO IS IN SECRET, and your Father who sees what is done IN SECRET will reward you." Matthew 6:6

God the Father established the SECRET PLACE, the Garden, so THEY can connect with us. They is the TRINITY. Grace is the permission, the gate, the door, and the entrance back to the Father's Heart, which is HIS WILL, where we get to swim in the endless SEA of GOODNESS resulting IN JOY INEXPRESSIBLE.

"knowing, brethren beloved by God, HIS CHOICE OF YOU;" 1 Thessalonians 1:4

Prayer is the continuing KNOWLEDGE that the God of all creation is our Father, Savior, King, Lord, and provider of all things, and HE LOVES US.

"For you will go out with JOY And be led forth with PEACE; The mountains and the hills will break forth into shouts of JOY before you, And all the trees of the field will clap their hands." Isaiah 55:12

Prayer is Standing in the THRONE ROOM of GRACE

"Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy AND FIND GRACE to HELP IN TIME OF NEED!" Hebrews 4:16

Remember, the BIBLE TELLS US, God the Father, the Son of God, Jesus, and the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, are all praying for us continually without ceasing. THEIR PRAYERS ARE ANSWERED IN OUR AMEN! Agree with HEAVEN in PRAYER and receive the fullness of JOY.

"through whom also WE HAVE OBTAINED our introduction BY FAITH into THIS GRACE in which WE STAND; and we exult in hope of the glory of God." Romans 5:2

Prayer is JOINING THE TRINITY and living in and from the Father's HEART, aligning with HIS WILL, joining all of HEAVEN to fulfill the Word of God in the Earth. PRAYER IS TO JOIN THE TRINITY’S PRAYER FOR US.

“who is the one who condemns? Christ Jesus is He who died, yes, rather who WAS RAISED, who is at the right hand of God, WHO ALSO INTERCEDES FOR US.” Romans 8:34

and,

“In the same way THE SPIRIT ALSO helps our weakness; for WE DO NOT KN OW HOW TO PRAY as we should, but THE SPIRIT HIMSELF INTERCEDES FOR US with groanings too deep for words;” Romans 8:26

The Father’s HEART IS HIS WILL, HIS intentions of absolute goodness for us. We can live there, in the TRINITY with access to His absolute goodness, permanently, through PRAYER.

"For in Him ALL THE FULLNESS OF DIETY dwells in bodily form," Colossians 2:9

Prayer is us swimming effortlessly in RIVERS of HIS GRACE, His provision. Prayer is aligning with HIS PROVISION and surfing it likes waves of His Grace (they are BIG WAVES). HAVE FUN and SHOUT WITH JOY!

"You therefore, my son, be strong IN THE GRACE that IS IN Christ Jesus." 2 Timothy 2:1

Prayer is BEING IN CHRIST, a place of complete humility, repentance, and where HE TRANSFORMS US while we are at REST.

"HE SAVED US, not on the basis of deeds WHICH WE HAVE DONE in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing BY THE HOLY SPIRIT," Titus 3:5

KINGDOM LIVING is a continual JOY in PRAYER that never ceases. Prayer is PRAISE and WORSHIP and LIVING, every form of WORSHIP and every form of LIVING GOOD. Prayer is CLEANSING, a place where we are MADE CLEAN, made Holy.

"For who has known the mind of the Lord , that he will instruct Him? But WE HAVE the mind of Christ." 1 Corinthians 2:16

Prayer is active co-building with God, co-building His Kingdom on Earth, the KINGDOM of ETERNAL GRACE. Grace is His absolute goodness and it was made for us.

"YOUR kingdom come. YOUR will be done, On earth as it is in heaven." Matthew 6:10

Prayer is stepping into the Father's RIVER of LIFE and flowing in His OCEAN of ETERNAL GOODWILL for Humanity.

"YOU HAVE MADE THEM to be a kingdom and priests to our God; and THEY WILL REIGN upon the earth.” Revelation 5:10

Prayer is Cohabitating with the TRINITY, LIVING our LIVES from the Fullness of the Godhead.

"I will GIVE YOU the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and WHATEVER YOU bind on earth shall have been bound IN HEAVEN, and WHATEVER YOU LOOSE on earth shall have been loosed IN HEAVEN.” Matthew 16:19

Prayer is BEING FULL of GODFIDENCE

“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened. Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!" Matthew 7:7-11

He is the Vine, we are the branches that bear HIS Fruit. During prayer, we tap into God's ROOT (Christ), call upon His Goodness, and receive WISDOM and KNOWLEDGE from the free-flowing SAP of TRUTH provided by the Holy Spirit.

"having been FIRMLY ROOTED and NOW BEING BUILT UP IN HIM and established in YOUR FAITH just as YOU WERE instructed, and overflowing with GRATITUDE." Colossians 2:7

and,

"so that Christ MAY DWELL IN YOUR HEARTS through faith; and that you, being ROOTED and GROUNDED in love," Ephesians 3:17

Prayer is the Place We are Transformed From the Inside Out

"And do not be conformed to this world, but BE TRANSFORMED by the renewing of your mind, so that YOU MAY PROVE what the WILL OF GOD IS, that which IS GOOD and acceptable and perfect." Romans 12:2

Prayer is having a BIBLE STUDY with the TRINITY, and it's always open and never ends.

"and hope does not disappoint, because the love of God HAS BEEN POURED OUT within our hearts THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT who WAS GIVEN to us." Romans 5:5

Prayer is where we meet the RABBI, King Jesus, the best teacher ever. Prayer is where JESUS LOVES TO MEET TO TEACH HIS DISCIPLES.

"But do not be called Rabbi; for ONE IS YOUR TEACHER, and you are all brothers." Matthew 23:8

Prayer is where we repent, rethink our thinking, and do it with God in REALTIME CONVERSATION.

"Or do you think lightly of the riches of His kindness and tolerance and patience, not knowing that the kindness of God leads you to repentance?" Romans 2:4
