Jesus Said, “I am coming.”
Jesus spoke these words repeatedly. Two thousand years later, He still has not arrived. Does this negate the truth that He is coming? Does unfulfilled expectation equal a broken promise? Or is He on the journey, the arrival imminent, the timing perfect—from His perspective?
Consider Jesus’ own pattern of “delay.”
John 7:8-10 Jesus told His disciples, “Go up to the feast yourselves; I do not go up to this feast because My time has not yet fully come.” Yet after they left, He went up “not publicly, but as if, in secret.” Later He taught openly in the temple.
From the disciples’ perspective: Confusion. He said He wasn’t going, then He went. Mixed messages? Failed expectation?
From God’s perspective: Perfect timing. Divine orchestration. Glory displayed precisely as planned.
The disciples got almost everything “wrong”—from human perspective
They didn’t understand His parables
They rebuked Him for talking about His death
They argued about who would be greatest
They fled when He was arrested
Peter denied Him three times
They didn’t believe the women’s resurrection report
They doubted even when He stood before them
Were they failures? Or were they being perfected through failure? HEY MOCKERS. PAY ATTENTION. You might be judged by your own judgments.
The same disciples who “failed” Jesus, themselves, and each other repeatedly for decades help to build the foundation of the Church–they turned the world upside down, and died as martyrs for the faith.
Their weakness became the canvas for His strength. Their confusion became our clarity. Do ever think about that? Well try this one on… Their cowardice became courage.
Not despite their failures—IN THEM AND THROUGH THEM. Joshua Mlakeuh is a saint compared to Peter. The same Peter, who Paul rebuked for being a hypocrite, and that was decades after Jesus was resurrected.
Peter messed up big time, many, many times. Many today, if they had lived in Peter’s day, using the standards of today, would proclaim Peter to be a false prophet and a lying teacher. Let that soak in.
Paul: The “Fall” That Was Actually Glory
From the Pharisees’ perspective, watching Saul become Paul must have been devastating:
Their star pupil, lost to heresy
Brilliant scholar, now preaching the crucified blasphemer
Zealous defender of the Law, now declaring grace alone
They surely mourned his “fall.” They tried to kill him. They watched him beaten with 39 lashes—five times. Stoned. Arrested. Chased from city after city. Shipwrecked. Imprisoned. Finally martyred.
From their view: Total failure. Tragic fall. Wasted potential.
From Jesus’ perspective: Beautiful death to self. Glorious transformation. Perfect vessel.
2 Corinthians 12:9-10 “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness… For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
Paul’s “failures” were his qualifications. His beatings were his credentials. His weakness was his strength. Each crushing refined the oil. Each death to self released resurrection life.
The Lazarus Pattern: Hurting Feelings Was Never the Priority
John 11 Jesus received word that Lazarus was sick and dying. Mary and Martha expected immediate rescue. Their brother was Jesus’ friend. Surely He would come at once.
Jesus deliberately delayed two days.
Not because He didn’t care. John 11:5 explicitly states He loved them.
But because glory was the priority, not comfort.
When He finally arrived, Lazarus had been dead four days. Mary and Martha were devastated, possibly angry, certainly confused. John 11:21, 32 “Lord, if You had been here, my brother would not have died.”
Translation: “You let us down. Where were You? Why didn’t You come?”
Did Jesus apologize for hurting their feelings? Did He adjust His plan to avoid disappointing them?
No.
John 11:14-15 “Lazarus is dead, and I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, so that you may believe.”
“I am GLAD.”
Glad for the death. Glad for the delay. Glad for their confusion and disappointment.
Why? “So that you may believe.”
Greater glory. Deeper faith. More powerful testimony.
John 11:40 “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
Martha expected healing. Jesus gave resurrection. Her expectation was too small. The delay enlarged the miracle.
This experience was written for us today.
The 6,000 Years: Lazarus as Prophetic Type
Lazarus represents humanity’s self-governance
From Noah’s flood (approximately 2400 BC) to today: roughly 4,400 years of human history under various forms of self-rule.
From Adam to now: approximately 6,000 years total.
Six days of creation + Seventh day Sabbath rest = Pattern
Psalm 90:4, 2 Peter 3:8 “With the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day”
The pattern some see
Six “days” (6,000 years) of human labor under sin
Seventh “day” (1,000 years) of Sabbath rest under Christ’s reign
Eighth day: Eternity begins
Lazarus was dead four days representing the 4,000 years from Adam to Christ
We are now approximately 2,000 years since Christ total 6,000 years approaching
Could Lazarus’ resurrection after four days symbolize
The end of human self-rule
The beginning of God’s direct reign
The Bride being called out before the Kingdom age
Man’s self-governance is ending. The alarm is sounding globally.
The Global Witness: Dreams and Visions Exploding
Joel 2:28-29 “It will come about after this that I will pour out My Spirit on all mankind; and your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions. Even on the male and female servants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.”
This is Happening NOW
Around the world, unprecedented numbers of people—men, women, children—across every nation, tribe, and tongue are reporting:
Dreams of the Rapture
Visions of Jesus’ return
Prophetic warnings
Calls to prepare
Urgency and imminence
This is not isolated. This is not fringe. This is global and explosive.
Social media has amplified what previous generations could not share so widely. Testimonies from:
India
Africa
Middle East
South America
Asia
Western nations
Remote villages
Major cities
Diverse, independent, consistent themes
“Jesus is coming very soon”
“Prepare the Bride”
“Time is short”
“The Rapture is imminent”
Are all these dreams from God? Not necessarily every single one.
But can we dismiss the entire phenomenon? The global scale? The unprecedented nature?
Acts 2:17 Peter declared Joel’s prophecy was beginning to be fulfilled at Pentecost. But Joel’s prophecy has dual fulfillment—initial at Pentecost, ultimate in the last days before “the great and awesome day of the Lord.”
We may be witnessing the ultimate fulfillment.
The Hostages: Another Prophetic Fulfillment?
The current Egypt peace agreement includes the release of hostages held in Gaza.
Could this symbolize
Isaiah 61:1 “To proclaim liberty to captives and freedom to prisoners”
Luke 4:18 Jesus quoted this as His mission
Revelation 12 describes the woman (Israel) fleeing into the wilderness, protected for 1,260 days while the dragon pursues her.
Are we witnessing?
Israel’s “exodus” moment
Captives being freed at the Red Sea (symbolic location)
Transition point before Revelation 12’s tribulation period
Final preparations before the Bride is taken
Some see patterns?
Passover (redemption through blood)
Exodus (deliverance at Red Sea)
Hostages released (captives freed)
Peace covenant (“peace and safety” 1 Thess 5:3)
Rosh Hashanah/Trumpets season (Rapture typology)
21-day delay pattern (Daniel 10:12-13)
Are these connections valid? Time will reveal.
But Scripture commands us to watch, to discern, to recognize seasons.
The Question Before Us
Did the disciples fail by having wrong expectations about timing? Or were they refined through the very process of expectation and apparent disappointment?
Did Paul fail by enduring beatings and persecution? Or was he gloriously transformed through suffering into Christ’s image?
Did Mary and Martha fail by expecting immediate rescue? Or did their disappointed expectation position them to witness greater glory?
Have modern watchers “failed” when dates passed? Or is this part of the refining fire? The delay that precedes greater glory? The death that must occur before resurrection?
This document explores these questions through:
The foundation of death-to-self theology
The pattern from Bereshit (Genesis) to Revelation
The scroll, the witnesses, and divine delay
Current events and their potential prophetic significance
The call to keep watching regardless of disappointment
We do not know the day or hour.
But we are commanded to know the season, to know the week, and to recognize the immediate signs, to watch actively.
And right now, the signs are converging like never before in history.
Death to Self, Resurrection Life
Our theological foundation established:
Christians have been blessed by and through Jesus’ death. Jesus’ death is the key to eternal life. No death, no life. Jesus justified humanity, paying the full debt—nothing left to pay. We are to believe He paid the full debt and live set free, enslaved to righteousness because He died.
He’s asking us to follow Him into death, dying to all forms of self while resting in the transforming work of the Word through the Holy Spirit. It’s His death and our death that allow His life to manifest through love. There can be no self in eternal life.
The Lazarus Pattern
Jesus allowed Lazarus to die completely (four days in the tomb)
Jesus deliberately delayed His arrival
Jesus had a predetermined plan that required death before resurrection
Lazarus contributed nothing—he was completely passive in death
Jesus spoke, and death released him
This foreshadows the Rapture: hearing His voice and being called out
BE Ready vs. GET Ready
BE ready = Positional truth—we ARE dead in Christ, we ARE alive in Christ (Colossians 3:3, Galatians 2:20)
GET ready = Progressive sanctification—daily dying to self, practicing His death (Luke 9:23, Philippians 2:12-13)
This pattern of death-before-resurrection is woven throughout Scripture from Genesis to Revelation.
Bereshit—In The Beginning
The Hebrew Word and Its Significance
Bereshit “In the beginning”
The first word of the Torah (Genesis 1:1)
Root: Rosh “head, beginning, first”
Speaks of primacy, sovereignty, and God’s preexistent plan
Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”
From the very first word of Scripture, we see:
God’s sovereign initiative
Creation from nothing (ex nihilo)
The establishment of time itself
A plan that existed before time began
The Pattern Established From The Beginning
Ephesians 1:4 “He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world”
2 Timothy 1:9 “He has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity”
Revelation 13:8 “The Lamb slain from the foundation of the world”
The plan of redemption through death and resurrection was not a reaction to the Fall—it was predetermined from Bereshit, from the very beginning.
Bereshit and Prophetic Patterns
Some interpret Bereshit as containing encoded prophetic information:
The letters themselves are seen as containing divine revelation
Patterns in creation week foreshadowing redemption history
The seven days pointing to seven millennia
Sabbath rest pointing to Millennial Kingdom
Whether one accepts these interpretations or not, Scripture clearly shows that God reveals the end from the beginning:
Isaiah 46:9-10 “Remember the former things long past, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not been done”
The Pattern of Divine Delay Throughout Scripture
The Theological Significance of Delay
Throughout Scripture, God frequently delays what seems imminent—not as failure or uncertainty, but as sovereign purpose:
Purpose of delay:
Testing and refining faith (James 1:2-4)
Allowing full ripeness of sin (Genesis 15:16)
Displaying greater glory (John 11)
Creating space for repentance (2 Peter 3:9)
Perfecting patience and endurance (Hebrews 10:36)
Biblical Examples of Delay
Abraham and the Promised Son (25 years)
Promise given: Genesis 12, when Abraham was 75
Fulfillment: Genesis 21, when Abraham was 100
The delay refined faith, exposed self-effort (Ishmael), prepared for miracle birth
Joseph’s Dreams to Fulfillment (13+ years)
Dreams received as teenager (Genesis 37)
Fulfillment as second-in-command (Genesis 41)
The delay refined character, positioned him for greater purpose
Moses and the Exodus (40 years)
Called at the burning bush at age 80 (Exodus 3)
Tried to deliver Israel in his own strength at 40 (Acts 7:23-25)
The delay killed self-sufficiency, prepared humble dependence
David Anointed to Crowned (15+ years)
Anointed as teenager (1 Samuel 16)
Crowned king at 30 (2 Samuel 5:4)
The delay refined him through suffering, taught him dependence.
Habakkuk’s Vision
Habakkuk 2:2-3 “Record the vision and inscribe it on tablets, that the one who reads it may run. For the vision is yet for the appointed time; it hastens toward the goal and it will not fail. Though it tarries, wait for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay.”
Notice the paradox: “Though it tarries (delays)… it will not delay”
The meaning: From our perspective it delays; from God’s perspective it arrives exactly on time.
The instruction WAIT for it. RUN with it. It WILL come.
The Ultimate Pattern: Jesus and Lazarus
John 11:1-44 The deliberate delay
Verse 3 “The sisters sent word to Him, saying, ‘Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick’”
Verse 4 “But when Jesus heard this, He said, ‘This sickness is not to end in death, but for the glory of God’”
Verse 6 “So when He heard that he was sick, He then stayed two days longer in the place where He was”
Verse 14-15 “Then Jesus therefore said to them plainly, ‘Lazarus is dead, and I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, so that you may believe’”
The pattern:
Jesus loved Lazarus (v. 3, 5, 36)
Jesus deliberately delayed (v. 6)
Jesus allowed complete death four days (v. 17)
Jesus had a predetermined plan for greater glory (v. 4, 15)
Jesus called him out by name (v. 43)
Lazarus contributed nothing to his resurrection
The result was greater faith and greater glory (v. 45)
This is a TYPE of the Rapture
The Bride loves Jesus, Jesus loves the Bride
There may be perceived “delay” from our perspective
Complete death to self must occur
Jesus has a predetermined plan for His glory
He will call us out by name
We contribute nothing—pure grace
The result will be His glory displayed
John 11:40 “Did I not say to you that if you believe, you will see the glory of God?”
Revelation 10—The Strong Angel and the Little Scroll
The Strong Angel
Revelation 10:1-3 “I saw another strong angel coming down out of heaven, clothed with a cloud; and the rainbow was upon his head, and his face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire; and he had in his hand a little book which was open. He placed his right foot on the sea and his left on the land; and he cried out with a loud voice, as when a lion roars; and when he had cried out, the seven peals of thunder uttered their voices.”
Who is this “strong angel”?
Evidence this may be Christ Himself
Clothed with a cloud associated with divine presence (Exodus 13:21-22, Daniel 7:13)
Rainbow upon his head covenant sign, throne of God imagery (Revelation 4:3, Genesis 9:13)
Face like the sun matches description of Christ (Revelation 1:16, Matthew 17:2)
Feet like pillars of fire matches Christ’s appearance (Revelation 1:15)
Roar like a lion Christ is “Lion of Judah” (Revelation 5:5)
Authority over sea and land universal dominion (Psalm 24:1)
Alternative view A mighty angel representing Christ
Either way This figure represents Christ’s authority and His redemptive plan.
The Little Scroll (Biblion)
Revelation 10:2 “He had in his hand a little book (biblion) which was open”
What is this scroll?
Connection to the sealed scroll of Revelation 5
Revelation 5:1 A scroll “sealed with seven seals”
Only the Lamb was worthy to open it (5:5-9)
The scroll represents God’s redemptive plan and rightful ownership of creation
The “little scroll” (Revelation 10) appears to be
The same scroll, now fully opened
All seals broken
Contents ready to be proclaimed
Time for final fulfillment
The scroll contains:
God’s full redemptive plan from Bereshit to consummation
The mystery of God about to be finished (v. 7)
Both sweet (redemption for believers) and bitter (judgment for unbelievers)
The Command to John (and to Watchmen)
Revelation 10:8-11 “Then the voice which I heard from heaven, I heard again speaking with me, and saying, ‘Go, take the book which is open in the hand of the angel who stands on the sea and on the land.’ So I went to the angel, telling him to give me the little book. And he said to me, ‘Take it and eat it; it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth it will be sweet as honey.’ I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it, and in my mouth it was sweet as honey; and when I had eaten it, my stomach was made bitter. And they said to me, ‘You must prophesy again concerning many peoples and nations and tongues and kings.’”
The pattern:
Take the scroll receive God’s revelation
Eat it internalize it, make it part of you (Jeremiah 15:16, Ezekiel 3:1-3)
Sweet in the mouth God’s Word is delightful, precious (Psalm 119:103)
Bitter in the stomach the burden of judgment, the cost of proclamation
Must prophesy the command to proclaim what has been revealed
This applies to all watchmen
We receive revelation from God’s Word
We internalize it through study and prayer
It’s sweet—the hope of redemption, Christ’s return
It’s bitter—the burden of warning, the knowledge of coming judgment
We MUST proclaim it—we have no choice (Ezekiel 33:1-9)
The Declaration: “There Will Be Delay No Longer”
Revelation 10:5-7 “Then the angel whom I saw standing on the sea and on the land lifted up his right hand to heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever and ever, who created heaven and the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things in it, that there will be delay no longer, but in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets.”
Critical observations:
“There will be delay no longer” (Greek: chronos ouketi estai)
Literal: “Time will be no more” or “No more delay”
Context: The long period of waiting is about to end
Implication: Up until this moment, there HAS been delay
“The mystery of God is finished”
The hidden plan of redemption will be completed
What was planned from Bereshit will reach fulfillment
The scroll’s contents will be fully enacted
This happens “in the days of the seventh trumpet”
The final trumpet
Connects to 1 Corinthians 15:51-52 and 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
The Rapture/“Harpazo” occurs at “the last trumpet”
The pattern of delay ENDS
There has been delay from the human perspective
God’s predetermined timing reaches fulfillment
The long-awaited moment arrives
No more waiting
Revelation 11—The Two Witnesses
The Two Witnesses Prophesy
Revelation 11:3-6 “And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. And if anyone wants to harm them, fire flows out of their mouth and devours their enemies; so if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way. These have the power to shut up the sky, so that rain will not fall during the days of their prophesying; and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire.”
Key details:
1,260 days = 42 months = 3.5 years
Clothed in sackcloth = symbol of mourning, repentance, judgment message
Two olive trees and lampstands = witnesses empowered by the Holy Spirit (Zechariah 4)
Divine protection during their testimony
Prophetic authority to proclaim God’s message
Who are they?
Literal interpretation: Two actual individuals (possibly Moses and Elijah returned)
Symbolic interpretation: Representing the witnessing church
Corporate interpretation: The faithful remnant who testify
Their message Call to repentance, proclamation of coming judgment, witness to God’s truth,
The Death of the Witnesses
Revelation 11:7-10 “When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them. And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. Those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb. And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.”
The pattern:
They complete their testimony faithfully (v. 7)
The beast kills them (v. 7)
Their bodies lie publicly exposed (v. 8-9)
The world celebrates their death (v. 10)
They are mocked and dishonored (v. 9-10)
This mirrors Christ’s pattern:
Faithful testimony unto death
Killed by worldly powers
Public humiliation
Mocking and celebrating
Apparent defeat
This mirrors the pattern we discussed:
Complete death required
No self-preservation
Total vulnerability
The world’s hatred
Seeming failure
The Resurrection and Rapture of the Witnesses
Revelation 11:11-12 “But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were watching them. And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, ‘Come up here.’ Then they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies watched them.”
The resurrection:
“Breath of life from God” echoes Genesis 2:7, Ezekiel 37 (dry bones)
“Stood on their feet” vindication, resurrection power
“Great fear” God’s power displayed
“Come up here” the Rapture call (same phrase as Revelation 4:1)
“Went up in the cloud” echoes Jesus’ ascension (Acts 1:9)
“Their enemies watched” public vindication
The pattern complete:
Faithful testimony despite opposition
Death—complete, public, humiliating
Brief period of seeming defeat (3.5 days)
Sudden resurrection by God’s power
Rapture—called up to heaven
Vindication before watching world
This is the Lazarus pattern:
Death required before resurrection
Divine timing (3.5 days, not 4 like Lazarus)
God’s voice calling them up
Complete passivity—they contributed nothing
Public display of God’s glory
Fear and faith as result
The Seventh Trumpet
Revelation 11:15-19 “Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.’… And the temple of God which is in heaven was opened; and the ark of His covenant appeared in His temple, and there were flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder and an earthquake and a great hailstorm.”
This is the culmination:
The final trumpet sounds
God’s kingdom fully established
The mystery of God finished (Revelation 10:7)
Heaven opened
Judgment begins
Connection to the Rapture
1 Corinthians 15:52 “at the last trumpet”
1 Thessalonians 4:16 “the trumpet of God will sound”
This appears to be that final trumpet
Current Events and Prophetic Observation
The Middle East Peace Development
October 2025 Historic Gaza Ceasefire Agreement
Negotiations conducted in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt—a Red Sea resort
Agreement signed October 9, 2025
First phase includes ceasefire, hostage release, prisoner exchange
President Trump brokering the deal and planning to travel to Egypt for signing ceremony
Multiple nations supporting: Egypt, Qatar, Turkey, UAE, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and others
Being called a historic peace agreement
Biblical significance of location:
Egypt and the Red Sea
Site of the original Exodus
Place of deliverance and redemption
Symbol of God’s salvation power
Where Pharaoh’s army was defeated
Potential prophetic parallels
Modern “exodus” event at the Red Sea
Peace covenant being confirmed
“Peace and safety” declarations (1 Thessalonians 5:3)
Involvement of “many” nations
Daniel 9:27 “And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week”
The September 23-24, 2025 Prophetic Expectation
What was claimed
Prophet Joshua Mhlakela from South Africa publicly prophesied that the Rapture would occur on September 23-24, 2025, coinciding with Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets).
His testimony:
Claimed Jesus appeared to him in 2018
Given specific dates: September 23-24, 2025
Aligned with Jewish fall feast (Trumpets)
Generated viral attention globally (RaptureTok)
Many believers watching and preparing
What occurred:
September 23-24, 2025 passed
The Rapture did not occur
Widespread mockery and criticism followed
Questions about failed prophecy arose
Responses to the Non-Event
Critical response:
“False prophet” declarations
Citing Deuteronomy 18:22
Mockery of date-setting
Dismissal of all prophetic watching
Alternative interpretations:
Calendar differences (Julian vs. Gregorian)
Delay patterns (like Lazarus)
Testing of faith and endurance
Continuation of watching with adjusted expectations
The Theological Question
Does a specific date not occurring mean:
The entire framework is false?
Or could there be a “delay pattern” at work?
Biblical precedent for prophetic delay
Jonah’s “40 days and Nineveh will be overthrown” didn’t happen as stated (they repented)
Habakkuk 2:3 “Though it tarries, wait for it”
2 Peter 3:9 “The Lord is not slow about His promise”
The pattern we’ve established
God often delays from human expectations
Delay serves divine purposes
Faith is tested and refined in waiting
Ultimate fulfillment comes at God’s exact time
The Current Moment: October 2025
Timeline Observations
September 23-24: Rosh Hashanah, expected Rapture date
October 7: Two-year anniversary of Hamas attacks, start of Egypt peace talks
October 9: Historic ceasefire agreement signed in Egypt
October 10: Current date, Trump planning Egypt trip
October 27-28: Potential dates being discussed (21 days after Rosh Hashanah)
Shemini Atzeret: “Eighth day of assembly,” conclusion of fall feast cycle
The 21-day delay pattern:
Some note Daniel 10:12-13 where Daniel’s prayer was heard immediately, but the answer was delayed 21 days due to spiritual warfare.
Patterns being observed
Rosh Hashanah to Shemini Atzeret = approximately 21 days
Historic peace covenant at Red Sea location
“Peace and safety” declarations
Unprecedented global attention on timing
Questions for Biblical Evaluation
For the watching believer to consider
Is the September 23-24 prophecy completely false?
Or could God be working in a delay pattern for His purposes?
Are current Middle East events prophetically significant?
Red Sea location, peace covenant, many nations involved
What does it mean to “watch” biblically?
Dismissing all timing discussions?
Or actively observing signs and seasons?
How do we evaluate prophetic claims?
By immediate fulfillment only?
Or by broader patterns and fruit over time?
What is our response to apparent delay?
Give up watching?
Or increase faith and vigilance?
Matthew 25:5 “Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep”
The delay tests who remains watchful.
