GRACE SUPER ABOUNDS

The Absolute Goodness of God

Jesus as YHWH

Romans 5:20 - “Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more”

Grace. This single word contains the entire Gospel. Grace is not merely God’s kindness or His willingness to overlook sin. Grace is the absolute goodness of God - His perfect, limitless, eternal, life-giving nature that has zero admixture of:

- No disorder
- No decay
- No death
- No evil
- No wickedness
- No lawlessness
- No darkness
- No deception
- No betrayal
- No disappointment
- No lack
- No brokenness
- No hiddenness
- No limits

Grace is ABSOLUTE ZERO SIN. Just as absolute zero (−459.67°F or −273.15°C) is the complete absence of heat and molecular motion, God’s grace is the complete absence of anything contrary to His perfect goodness. But unlike absolute zero which brings death, God’s grace brings ABUNDANT LIFE - eternal, overflowing, super-abounding life!

Romans 5:21 - “So that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

And here is the stunning truth: WHERE SIN ABOUNDS, GRACE SUPER ABOUNDS ALL THE MORE!

The darker the darkness, the brighter the light shines. The deeper the pit of sin, the higher grace lifts. The more SELF rages, the more grace CONQUERS. This is not even a fair fight - grace utterly, completely, overwhelmingly defeats sin every single time.

-----

THE TWO WAYS: CAIN AND ABEL

Let us begin where sin began - with the first two brothers, the first two offerings, the first two paths.

A. CAIN: The Way of WORKS and SELF

Genesis 4:3 - “In the course of time Cain brought to the LORD an offering of the fruit of the ground”

Cain brought what HE had produced. The fruit of HIS labor. The work of HIS hands. His offering came from SELF - his effort, his achievement, his sweat.

This is the essence of every false gospel: “Look what I have done. Look at my works. Look at my righteousness.”

Genesis 4:5 - “But for Cain and his offering he had no regard. So Cain was very angry, and his face fell.”

When God rejected his self-righteous offering, Cain became ANGRY. Why? Because SELF was exposed. His works were insufficient. His effort was rejected. And rather than humble himself and repent, he chose MURDER.

Genesis 4:8 - “Cain rose up against his brother Abel and killed him.”

This is where the way of WORKS always leads:

- Pride → Anger → Jealousy → Hatred → Murder (spiritual and sometimes physical)

- SELF defending SELF

- Religiosity without relationship

- External conformity without internal transformation

- Dead works without living faith

Jude 11 - “Woe to them! For they walked in the way of Cain”

The “way of Cain” is still being walked today by millions: trusting in their own works, their own righteousness, their own religious performance. This is the DIFFERENT GOSPEL in its most ancient form.

B. ABEL: The Way of GRACE and FAITH

Genesis 4:4 - “And Abel also brought of the firstborn of his flock and of their fat portions. And the LORD had regard for Abel and his offering”

What was different about Abel’s offering?

Hebrews 11:4 - “By faith Abel offered to God a more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, through which he was commended as righteous, God commending him by accepting his gifts.”

BY FAITH. Not by works. Not by his own effort. Not by SELF.

Abel brought a blood sacrifice - a lamb that died in his place. He came acknowledging:

- “I am a sinner”
- “I deserve death”
- “Only through shed blood can I approach God”
- “I bring nothing of my own - only this substitute”

This is GRACE received by FAITH ALONE:

- Humility, not pride
- Dependence, not independence
- God’s provision, not man’s production
- Death to SELF, not exaltation of SELF

Genesis 4:4 - “And the LORD had regard for Abel”

God accepted Abel not because of the quality of his offering, but because Abel came by faith, recognizing his need for a substitute, his need for grace.

THE CHOICE: Which Way Are You Walking?

1 John 3:12 - “We should not be like Cain, who was of the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own deeds were evil and his brother’s righteous.”

The way of Cain (WORKS, SELF, false gospel) → Death

The way of Abel (GRACE, FAITH, true Gospel) → Life

-----

THE TWO ADAMS: DEATH AND LIFE

A. THE FIRST ADAM: Sin, Self, and Death

Genesis 2:16-17 - “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, ‘You may surely eat of every tree of the garden, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.’”

Adam had one command: trust and obey. He had everything - life, abundance, fellowship with God, paradise. But the serpent whispered: “Did God actually say…?”

Genesis 3:4-5 - “But the serpent said to the woman, ‘You will not surely die. For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.’”

The temptation: “YOU will be like God.” SELF exalted to deity. This is the root of all sin - the desire to be autonomous, self-sufficient, self-righteous, self-glorifying.

Genesis 3:6 - “So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate, and she also gave some to her husband who was with her, and he ate.”

1 John 2:16 - “For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.”

Three channels of SELF:

Desires of the flesh (felt good)

Desires of the eyes (looked good)

Pride of life (would make wise)

Romans 5:12 - “Therefore, just as sin came into the world through one man, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men because all sinned”

Through Adam came:

- Sin (rebellion, SELF)
- Death (spiritual and physical)
- Separation from God
- Condemnation
- Slavery to sin
- Works of the flesh
- Futility and vanity

Romans 5:18a - “Therefore, as one trespass led to condemnation for all men”

We are ALL born “in Adam” - dead in trespasses and sins, enslaved to SELF, walking in the way of Cain, earning wages of death.

B. THE LAST ADAM: Grace, Selflessness, and Life

1 Corinthians 15:45 - “Thus it is written, ‘The first man Adam became a living being’; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.”

Jesus is the Last Adam - the Second Man, the New Humanity, the Head of a new race born not of flesh but of Spirit.

Philippians 2:5-8 - “Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.”

Where the first Adam grasped at equality with God, the Last Adam emptied Himself.

Where the first Adam exalted SELF, the Last Adam humbled Himself.

Where the first Adam disobeyed, the Last Adam was obedient to death.

Jesus had NO SELF:

- No selfish ambition
- No desire for His own glory apart from the Father
- No self-preservation
- No self-righteousness
- No self-will
- Perfect submission
- Perfect humility
- Perfect obedience

John 5:30 - “I can do nothing on my own. As I hear, I judge, and my judgment is just, because I seek not my own will but the will of him who sent me.”

John 8:28-29 - “So Jesus said to them, ‘When you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I am he, and that I do nothing on my own authority, but speak just as the Father taught me. And he who sent me is with me. He has not left me alone, for I always do the things that are pleasing to him.’”

This is GRACE INCARNATE - the absolute goodness of God in human flesh, living a life of perfect selflessness, perfect obedience, perfect love.

Romans 5:18b-19 - “So one act of righteousness leads to justification and life for all men. For as by the one man’s disobedience the many were made sinners, so by the one man’s obedience the many will be made righteous.”

Through the Last Adam (Jesus) comes:

- Righteousness (His, not ours)
- Life (eternal, abundant)
- Reconciliation to God
- Justification
- Freedom from sin
- Fruit of the Spirit
- Eternal purpose and meaning

THE CHOICE: In Which Adam Are You?

1 Corinthians 15:22 - “For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.”

In Adam → Death, SELF, works, condemnation

In Christ → Life, SELFLESSNESS, grace, justification

You are either “in Adam” (dead) or “in Christ” (alive). There is no third option. No middle ground. No hybrid.

-----

FROM WORKS TO REST: THE GREAT EXCHANGE

A. The Slavery of WORKS

The “different gospel” - whether LDS, Catholic additions, Jehovah’s Witnesses, or any other works-based system - puts you on a treadmill that NEVER STOPS:

The Treadmill of Performance:

- Temple ceremonies you must complete
- Ordinances you must perform
- Word of Wisdom you must keep
- Tithing you must pay (to “worthiness”)
- Callings you must fulfill
- Ministering you must do
- Sins you must confess (repeatedly)
- Penance you must perform
- Purgatory you must endure
- Works you must accumulate
- Righteousness you must achieve

Isaiah 64:6 - “We have all become like one who is unclean, and all our righteous deeds are like a polluted garment. We all fade like a leaf, and our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.”

Your best works are filthy rags. Your greatest efforts are contaminated by SELF. You can never do enough, be enough, achieve enough.

Galatians 3:10 - “For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, ‘Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.’”

The law demands PERFECTION. Not 99%. Not “doing your best.” Not “faithful effort.” 100% PERFECTION, 100% OF THE TIME.

James 2:10 - “For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it.”

You cannot partially obey. One sin = guilty of all. One moment of SELF = condemnation.

This is not grace. This is SLAVERY.

Galatians 4:9 - “But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles of the world, whose slaves you want to be once more?”

B. The Freedom of GRACE and REST

Matthew 11:28-30 - “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Jesus offers REST. Not more work. Not harder effort. Not better performance. REST.

Hebrews 4:9-10 - “So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his.”

God’s rest means CEASING FROM YOUR OWN WORKS. Stopping the treadmill. Getting off the hamster wheel. Ending the slavery.

What does this REST look like?

Ephesians 2:8-9 - “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

REST means:

Trusting Christ’s finished work - “It is finished” (John 19:30)

Receiving His righteousness as a gift - not earning your own

Resting in His obedience - not your own

Believing His blood was sufficient - no additional sacrifices needed

Accepting that you are complete in Him - lacking nothing

Colossians 2:10 - “And you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.”

FILLED. Past tense. Already complete. Nothing missing. Nothing broken. Nothing to add.

Romans 8:1 - “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”

NO CONDEMNATION. Not “less condemnation if you work hard.” Not “conditional on your performance.” NO CONDEMNATION - period.

2 Corinthians 5:21 - “For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.”

You don’t become righteous by working harder. You BECOME the righteousness of God IN HIM - by union with Christ, by faith alone.

C. The Great Exchange

This is the Gospel - the great exchange:

|What We Bring  |What Christ Gives |

|Sin                   |Righteousness
|Death               |Life
|Condemnation   |Justification
|Slavery             |Freedom
|Guilt                 |Forgiveness
|Filthy rags         |Robes of righteousness
|Our works (SELF)|His finished work
|Spiritual poverty|Spiritual wealth
|Brokenness       |Wholeness
|Darkness          |Light
|Separation        |Reconciliation

2 Corinthians 8:9 - “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich.”

Isaiah 61:10 - “I will greatly rejoice in the LORD; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.”

WHERE SIN ABOUNDS, GRACE SUPER ABOUNDS

A. The Mathematics of Grace

Here is the stunning reality of grace:

Romans 5:20 - “Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more”

The Greek word for “abounded all the more” is hyperperisseuo - to super-abound, to overflow beyond measure, to exceed exceedingly, to be in extraordinary abundance.

The Principle:

- Sin increased → Grace SUPER-increased
- Where sin abounds → Grace HYPER-abounds
- The deeper the pit → The higher grace lifts
- The darker the darkness → The brighter the light

Grace is not just sufficient. Grace is SUPER-ABUNDANT, HYPER-EXCEEDING, OVERFLOW-BEYOND-MEASURE sufficient.

B. Grace Has No Limits

John 1:16 - “For from his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.”

Grace upon grace upon grace upon grace…

Like waves upon the shore, never-ending, never-exhausting, always coming, always sufficient.

2 Corinthians 9:8 - “And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work.”

Count the “alls”:

- ALL grace
- ALL sufficiency
- ALL things
- ALL times

There is no situation where grace runs out. No sin too deep. No fall too far. No failure too great.

Romans 8:38-39 - “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

NOTHING can separate you from God’s grace in Christ. Not your worst sin. Not your greatest failure. Not your deepest shame. NOTHING.

C. Grace vs. Sin: The Unfair Fight

This is not even a contest. Grace DOMINATES sin in every category:

Power:

- Sin kills → Grace gives life eternal
- Sin enslaves → Grace sets free forever
- Sin condemns → Grace justifies completely

Duration:

- Sin’s effects are temporary (though painful) → Grace is ETERNAL

- Sin reigned for a season → Grace reigns FOREVER

Scope:

- Sin damaged humanity → Grace restores + ADDS GLORY

- Sin brought death → Grace brings life + RESURRECTION + GLORIFICATION

Quality:

- Sin steals, kills, destroys → Grace gives, heals, creates

- Sin leaves you empty → Grace leaves you OVERFLOWING

Romans 5:17 - “For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ.”

“MUCH MORE” - Grace doesn’t just defeat sin; it OVERWHELMS it. It’s not close. It’s not even competitive.

-----

WHAT DOES REPENTANCE LOOK LIKE?

A. Repentance Is Not More SELF-Effort

Many people think repentance means:

-Feeling bad enough
-Crying enough tears
-Promising to do better
-Making reparations
-Performing penance
-Achieving sufficient sorrow
-Cleaning yourself up first

This is still SELF. This is still WORKS.

B. True Repentance Is a Gift of Grace

Acts 5:31 - “God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins.”

2 Timothy 2:25 - “God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth”

Repentance is not something you generate from SELF. It is GIVEN by God as a gift of grace.

What is true repentance?

Greek: Metanoeo - to change one’s mind, to reconsider, to think differently after

True repentance means:

Agreeing with God about your sin

- “Yes, I am a sinner”
- “Yes, I deserve death”
- “Yes, I have nothing of my own to offer”

Abandoning trust in SELF
- “My works cannot save me”
- “My righteousness is filthy rags”
- “I can do nothing to earn salvation”

Turning to Christ alone
- “Jesus is YHWH, my only Savior”
- “His finished work is sufficient”
- “I trust in Him alone, not in myself”

Receiving His grace by faith
- “I receive salvation as a FREE GIFT”
- “I rest in His righteousness, not my own”
- “I cease from my works and enter His rest”

C. From SELF to SELFLESSNESS

Galatians 2:20 - “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

This is the transformation:

- SELF dies → Christ lives
- I decrease → He increases
- My works end → His work continues
- My righteousness fails → His righteousness stands
- My effort ceases → His power flows

John 3:30 - “He must increase, but I must decrease.”

2 Corinthians 3:18 - “And we all, with unveiled face, beholding the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another. For this comes from the Lord who is the Spirit.”

The Christian life is not about:

-You becoming a better you
-You achieving higher levels
-You earning God’s approval
-You performing enough works

The Christian life is about:

- Christ living His life through you
- Decreasing so He increases
- Resting in His finished work
- Being transformed BY GRACE into His image

-----

THE PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

A. “But doesn’t grace lead to license? Can’t I just sin freely?”

Romans 6:1-2 - “What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?”

Romans 6:15 - “What then? Are we to sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means!”

True grace doesn’t give you license to sin. True grace KILLS your desire to sin.

Why?

Titus 2:11-12 - “For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age”

Grace doesn’t say, “Sin doesn’t matter.”

Grace says, “Sin has been paid for. Now, because you’re loved, because you’re forgiven, because you’re free - live like who you are.”

You don’t obey to BECOME a child of God.

You obey BECAUSE you ARE a child of God.

B. “Are good works unnecessary then?”

Ephesians 2:8-10 - “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.”

The order:

Saved by grace (v.8-9)

Created for good works (v.10)

Not: Works → Salvation

But: Salvation → Works

James 2:17 - “So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”

True faith PRODUCES works. Not to earn salvation, but as the FRUIT of salvation.

John 15:5 - “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”

Works flow FROM union with Christ, not TO achieve union with Christ.

Galatians 5:22-23 - “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control”

The SPIRIT produces fruit. You don’t manufacture it from SELF. You RECEIVE it as He works in you.

C. “How can I know if I’m truly saved?”

1 John 5:13 - “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life.”

You can KNOW. Not hope. Not wonder. Not work toward. KNOW.

How?

1. Do you believe in Jesus as YHWH God, your only Savior?

John 3:36 - “Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life”

2. Are you trusting in His finished work alone, not your own?

John 5:24 - “Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.”

3. Has the Holy Spirit been changing you?

2 Corinthians 5:17 - “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.”

4. Do you love God and desire to obey Him (even when you fail)?

1 John 2:3-4 - “And by this we know that we have come to know him, if we keep his commandments. Whoever says ‘I know him’ but does not keep his commandments is a liar”

Notice: The evidence is desire and direction, not perfection. You will fail. But true believers love God, desire to obey, and keep getting back up by grace.

-----

THE URGENCY: WHILE IT IS STILL DAY

John 9:4 - “We must work the works of him who sent me while it is day; night is coming, when no one can work.”

2 Corinthians 6:2 - “For he says, ‘In a favorable time I listened to you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you.’ Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”

The time is NOW. Not tomorrow. Not after you get your life together. Not after you complete one more ordinance or ceremony.

TODAY - while it is still day, while grace is still offered, while the door is still open.

The Choice Before You Right Now

Moses set this choice before Israel:

Deuteronomy 30:15, 19 - “See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil…I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live”

Right now, in this moment, you stand at the crossroads:

PATH 1: The Way of WORKS (Death)

- Trust in your own righteousness
- Depend on your own performance
- Follow the way of Cain
- Remain in Adam
- Live in SELF
- Die in your sins

PATH 2: The Way of GRACE (Life)

- Trust in Christ’s righteousness alone
- Depend on His finished work
- Follow the way of Abel
- Be born again in Christ
- Die to SELF
- Live forever with God

Joshua 24:15 - “And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve…But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Which will you choose?

-----

THE PRAYER OF GRACE

If you are reading this and the Holy Spirit is convicting you, drawing you, opening your eyes to see that you’ve been trusting in SELF and WORKS rather than in Christ alone - pray this prayer from your heart:

-----

“God, I am a sinner. I have been trusting in my own works, my own righteousness, my own SELF. I now see that all my efforts are filthy rags. I cannot save myself. I deserve death and hell.

I believe that Jesus Christ is YHWH God, the Creator, the eternal Son who became flesh. I believe He lived a perfect, sinless life of total obedience and NO SELF. I believe He died on the cross as my substitute, taking my sin upon Himself. I believe He rose from the dead on the third day, defeating sin and death forever.

I turn from my sin. I turn from my works. I turn from SELF. I turn to Christ alone.

I receive Your grace as a FREE GIFT. I receive Jesus’ righteousness as my only righteousness. I rest in His finished work. I trust in Him alone for salvation.

Thank You for Your super-abounding grace. Thank You that where my sin increased, Your grace increased all the more. Thank You that I am now forgiven, justified, adopted, sealed, and secure in Christ forever.

I am Yours. Live Your life through me. Decrease my SELF. Increase Christ in me.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

-----

If you prayed that prayer in sincere faith, trusting in Christ alone, you are saved. Right now. This moment. Forever.

John 6:37 - “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.”

John 10:28 - “I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.”

You are now:

- Forgiven - completely
- Justified - declared righteous
- Adopted - a child of God
- Sealed - by the Holy Spirit
- Secure - forever in Christ
- Free - from sin’s dominion
- Alive - spiritually and eternally

Welcome to the family of God! Welcome to GRACE! Welcome to REST!

-----

WHAT NOW? LIVING IN GRACE

Now that you have received grace, how do you live?

A. Abide in Christ

John 15:4-5 - “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me. I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”

Stay connected to Jesus through:

- Reading His Word daily
- Prayer (talking with Him constantly)
- Fellowship with other believers
- Worship

B. Walk by the Spirit

Galatians 5:16 - “But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.”

Galatians 5:25 - “If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.”

Moment by moment, depend on the Holy Spirit:

- “Lord, I can’t do this. You do it through me.”
- “I have no strength. Be my strength.”
- “I have no righteousness. Be my righteousness.”
- “Empty me of SELF. Fill me with You.”

C. Grow in Grace

2 Peter 3:18 - “But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.”

Grace grows as you:

- Learn more of who Christ is
- See more of your need for Him
- Experience more of His sufficiency
- Decrease more so He increases

D. Share the Grace

2 Corinthians 5:18-20 - “All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation…Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.”

You have received the greatest gift in existence. Now share it! Tell others about Jesus, about grace, about the freedom from works and the rest found in Him alone.

-----

THE SUPER-ABOUNDING GRACE OF GOD

We close where we began:

Romans 5:20-21 - “Now the law came in to increase the trespass, but where sin increased, grace abounded all the more, so that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

No matter how deep your sin.

No matter how far you’ve fallen.

No matter how many years you’ve walked the way of Cain.

No matter how enslaved you’ve been to SELF and WORKS.

GRACE SUPER ABOUNDS.

Grace is higher than your sin.
Grace is deeper than your shame.
Grace is wider than your failure.
Grace is stronger than your bondage.

GRACE WINS. Every time. Always. Forever.

Come to Jesus. Rest in His finished work. Die to SELF. Live in Christ.

This is the Gospel. This is grace. This is life.

-----

For those leaving the LDS Church, Jehovah’s Witnesses, or works-based systems:

We understand this is difficult. You may be facing:

- Loss of community
- Family rejection
- Identity crisis
- Fear and uncertainty

Know this:

Matthew 19:29 - “And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or children or lands, for my name’s sake, will receive a hundredfold and will inherit eternal life.”

Hebrews 13:5 - “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”

You are not alone. God’s grace is sufficient. His family is vast. His love is unfailing.

Welcome home to grace.
