DIGGING DEEP INTO "THE KINGDOM"
The Christian life, as currently practiced across much of the Western world, is a lie.
That is the raw, difficult truth. I said it, and I meant it.
We have traded the cosmic, eternal, and radical reality of the Kingdom of God for a comfortable, self-help, weekly-meeting program.
We have domesticated the King, sanitized His message, and confused a future-only promise with a present, all-consuming reality.
We talk about heaven as a distant retirement plan while ignoring that we have already been transferred into a new, unseen, and fiercely contested Kingdom.
The war is not coming; it is here. The signs are not subtle; they are converging into a screaming headline: time is short.
If you are following Jesus and your life looks identical to the life of a non-believer, you are missing the Kingdom.
If your primary goal is comfort, accumulation, and maintaining the status quo, you are conforming to a world that is actively dissolving around you.
This is not condemnation; it is a wake-up call in love.
We must stop playing church and start living as citizens of another realm—sacrificial, urgent, and fueled by preemptive, overwhelming grace.
The Kingdom of God demands a complete overhaul of our mind and our life, right now.
It is time to discard the pattern of this fleeting world and live in the profound, transformative reality of the one that is breaking through.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:1-2, NASB)
What does Scripture reveal about the Kingdom of God?
THE FREQUENCY OF THE KINGDOM MESSAGE
The phrase “Kingdom of God” appears over 70-80 times in the New Testament, with “Kingdom” itself appearing approximately 162 times in the Greek (basileia) . Jesus spoke 126 times in the Gospels about the Kingdom of God, with another 34 references appearing elsewhere in the New Testament .
This is staggering. The Kingdom wasn’t a side topic—it was THE message.
- Luke refers to the “Kingdom of God” 32 times, Mark 14 times
- Matthew uses “Kingdom of Heaven” over 20 times (a Jewish way of saying the same thing to avoid overusing God’s name)
- Paul mentions it 8 times in his epistles
- Acts references it 6 times
This was the central message of Jesus and Paul. Not a future-only concept. Not just symbolic. THE KINGDOM IS HERE.

ACTS 20: PAUL’S TESTAMENT TO THE EPHESIAN ELDERS
Let’s dig deep into this passage because it’s the Rosetta Stone for understanding what “FOLLOWING JESUS” means in the last days.
The Context: Paul’s Final Words
Paul knows he’s heading to Jerusalem and likely death (Acts 20:22-24). This is his last chance to speak to the Ephesian church leaders. Every word matters.
Acts 20:17-38 is structured like a farewell address—the kind a patriarch gives when he knows the end is near. What does Paul emphasize?
1. The Message: The Gospel of God’s Grace
“I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.” - Acts 20:24
“Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” - Acts 20:32
Paul’s entire ministry was about grace—not rules, not religion, not self-effort, but the absolute goodness of God freely given.
Grace reigns in the Kingdom. This is Romans 5:21—“so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
2. The Method: House to House, Holding Nothing Back
“You know that I have not hesitated to preach anything that would be helpful to you but have taught you publicly and from house to house.” - Acts 20:20
“For I have not hesitated to proclaim to you the whole will of God.” - Acts 20:27
Paul didn’t build megachurches. He didn’t create programs. He went house to house, teaching the whole counsel of God—nothing held back, nothing watered down.
3. The Warning: Savage Wolves from Within
“I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. So be on your guard!” - Acts 20:29-31
This is prophetic. Paul knew that the greatest danger to the church wouldn’t be external persecution—it would be internal corruption. False teachers. Prosperity preachers. Kingdom-builders who use the gospel for self-promotion rather than self-sacrifice.
Sound familiar? The Western church today is drowning in wolves—pastors building empires, preachers getting rich, “Christians” accumulating wealth while claiming to follow the One who had nowhere to lay His head.
4. The Model: Paul’s Life
“I have not coveted anyone’s silver or gold or clothing. You yourselves know that these hands of mine have supplied my own needs and the needs of my companions. In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’” - Acts 20:33-35
Paul worked with his hands to support himself and others. He gave constantly. He considered his life worth nothing compared to finishing his ministry.
This is Romans 12:1-2 lived out: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”

THE KINGDOM IS HERE: ALREADY AND NOT YET
Is the Kingdom here or just near?
The answer: BOTH.
The Kingdom Has Come (Already)
“But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.” - Matthew 12:28
“Once, on being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, ’The coming of the kingdom of God is not something that can be observed, nor will people say, “Here it is,” or “There it is,” because the kingdom of God is in your midst.” - Luke 17:20-21
“For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” - Colossians 1:13
We are ALREADY in the Kingdom. When you were born again, you were transferred from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of light. You are already a citizen of heaven (Philippians 3:20). You are already seated with Christ in heavenly places (Ephesians 2:6).
The Kingdom isn’t just a future event—it’s a present reality in the unseen realm.
The Kingdom Is Coming (Not Yet)
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.’” - Matthew 25:34
“I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.” - Matthew 26:29
“The seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: ‘The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah, and he will reign for ever and ever.’” - Revelation 11:15
The Kingdom will be fully manifested when Jesus returns. What is now invisible will become visible. What is now spiritual will become physical. Heaven and earth will merge.
-----
THE UNSEEN REALM: WHERE THE KINGDOM IS NOW
The Kingdom exists in the unseen realm.
Scripture is saturated with this reality:
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” - 2 Corinthians 4:18
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” - Ephesians 6:12
“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” - Hebrews 11:1
The unseen realm is:
- More real than the physical
- More permanent than matter
- More powerful than earthly governments
- Where the true battle is fought
- Where believers already have citizenship
- Where Jesus currently reigns
This is why Paul could say:
“Even though we are in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” - 2 Corinthians 10:3-4
We’re fighting from the unseen realm (where we’re seated with Christ) into the seen realm (where we’re physically present).
-----
GRACE: THE FOUNDATION OF THE KINGDOM
The Lamb was slain before the foundation of the world.
“All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb’s book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.” - Revelation 13:8
“For you know that it was not with perishable things such as silver or gold that you were redeemed from the empty way of life handed down to you from your ancestors, but with the precious blood of Christ, a lamb without blemish or defect. He was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake.” - 1 Peter 1:18-20
This is mind-blowing: Redemption preceded creation. Grace came FIRST. Before humans sinned, the solution was already complete. Before we failed, forgiveness was finished. Before we were created, we were saved.
This is the character of God—absolute, preemptive, overwhelming GRACE.
And this is what Paul preached: “the gospel of God’s grace” (Acts 20:24).
Not: “Try harder.”
Not: “Be good enough.”
Not: “Earn your salvation.”
But: “It is finished. Everything is paid. You are fully restored. Now LIVE in that reality.”

WHAT DOES FOLLOWING JESUS LOOK LIKE TODAY?
Given everything we’ve excavated—the Kingdom is here, the Day of the Lord has come, interdimensional disclosure confirms biblical prophecy, the Rapture could happen any moment—what does obedience look like RIGHT NOW?
1. BELIEVE THE KINGDOM IS HERE
Stop treating the Christian life as “waiting for heaven.” You’re already in the Kingdom. You’re already a new creation. You’re already seated in heavenly places.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” - 2 Corinthians 5:17
Live from that reality. You have authority NOW. You have peace NOW. You have victory NOW—because you’re in Christ, and He’s already won.
2. TESTIFY TO THE GOSPEL OF GOD’S GRACE
Like Paul, make this our only mission: testify to the good news of God’s grace.
Not: “Get your act together.”
But: “You’re already accepted. Now walk in it.”
Not: “Follow these rules.”
But: “Christ fulfilled them all. Now walk in freedom.”
Not: “You’re a sinner barely saved.”
But: “You’re a saint who sometimes sins. Walk in your true identity.”
Grace is the message. Grace is the power. Grace is what transforms people.
3. HOUSE TO HOUSE, HOLDING NOTHING BACK
Stop waiting for “church” to do ministry. YOU are the church.
Paul didn’t build buildings—he went house to house, teaching the whole counsel of God.
What would this look like today?
- Open your home for Bible study
- Disciple people one-on-one
- Share meals and share life
- Teach everything—don’t water it down
- Make disciples who make disciples
Simple. Relational. Sacrificial.
4. GIVE RADICALLY
Paul said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
If we actually believe the Kingdom is here and Jesus is returning soon, why are we hoarding?
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth… but store up for yourselves treasures in heaven.” - Matthew 6:19-20
Liquidate and deploy. Give to:
- Missionaries in dangerous places
- Underground churches
- Crisis pregnancy centers
- Addiction recovery ministries
- The poor, the widow, the orphan (James 1:27)
- Believers who will refuse the mark and need support
Every dollar you deploy NOW is Kingdom investment that cannot be lost.
5. LIVE AS A LIVING SACRIFICE
Romans 12:1-2: “Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice.”
This means:
- Your time isn’t yours—it’s God’s
- Your money isn’t yours—it’s God’s
- Your comfort isn’t the goal—obedience is
- Your reputation doesn’t matter—His glory does
- Your plans are secondary—His will is primary
Die daily. Like Paul: “I consider my life worth nothing.”
6. WORK WITH YOUR HANDS TO HELP OTHERS
Paul worked to support himself and help the weak. He didn’t live off the gospel—he gave his life FOR the gospel.
Stop looking for comfort. Start looking for ways to serve.
- Work hard
- Live simply
- Give generously
- Support the weak
Be a producer, not a consumer.
7. GUARD AGAINST THE WOLVES
Paul warned: “Savage wolves will come in among you… even from your own number.”
Discern carefully:
- Prosperity preachers who promise wealth
- False teachers who deny sound doctrine
- Leaders who build personal empires
- Anyone who adds to or subtracts from grace
“Test everything. Hold on to what is good.” - 1 Thessalonians 5:21
8. PREACH THE KINGDOM
Like Jesus. Like Paul. Preach the Kingdom.
Not: just “accept Jesus and go to heaven.”
But: “The Kingdom of God is here. Repent and believe. Be transferred from darkness to light. Walk as a citizen of heaven. Live in the power of the Spirit. You are new creation NOW.”
The Kingdom is the message.
9. WAIT WITH JOY
“When these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.” - Luke 21:28
Don’t fear. Don’t panic. Rejoice.
Every sign converging means He’s coming soon.
The interdimensional disclosure? Confirmation.
The global chaos? Birth pains.
The deception increasing? Right on schedule.
“Even so, come, Lord Jesus.” - Revelation 22:20
10. PULL PEOPLE FROM THE FIRE
Jude 23: “Save others by snatching them from the fire.”
This is urgent. The deception is here. The fire is real. Time is short.
- Share the gospel boldly
- Warn about the coming deception
- Point people to Jesus as the only refuge
- Make disciples who can stand firm
Do it with urgency. Do it with love. Do it NOW.
-----
THE DAY OF THE LORD HAS COME
Everything points to NOW.
- Israel reborn
- Jerusalem under Jewish control
- Gospel to all nations
- Knowledge increased
- Moral collapse
- Love grown cold
- Interdimensional beings confirmed
- One-world government forming
- Economic control systems emerging
All the signs are here.
Paul told the Ephesian elders: “Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood.” (Acts 20:28)
We are those shepherds. Not just pastors—every believer.
We lay down our lives for the sheep. We warn about the wolves. We testify to grace. We give radically. We live sacrificially. We pull people from the fire.
-----
FOLLOWING JESUS TODAY: THE PAULINE MODEL
If Paul were alive today, on November 23, 2025, knowing interdimensional beings have been disclosed, what would he do?
Exactly what he did in Acts 20:
- Preach the Kingdom - “The unseen realm is breaking through. The Kingdom is here. Repent and believe.”
- Testify to grace - “Everything is paid. You’re fully restored. Walk in it.”
- Go house to house - Simple. Relational. Intimate discipleship.
- Give everything - No hoarding. No building earthly kingdoms. Deploy it all for the gospel.
- Work and serve - Support yourself, help the weak, be a producer.
- Warn about wolves - Call out false teachers. Protect the flock.
- Live sacrificially - “I consider my life worth nothing.”
- Proclaim the whole counsel - Hold nothing back. Teach everything.
- Wait with joy - “Our redemption draws near!”
- Finish the race - Stay faithful to the end, no matter the cost.
-----
THE FINAL WORD: THE KINGDOM IS HERE
“The kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.” - Romans 14:17
The Kingdom isn’t buildings. It isn’t programs. It isn’t institutions.
The Kingdom is JESUS.
Where He reigns, there is the Kingdom.
When we submit, we enter the Kingdom.
As we obey, we manifest the Kingdom.
And soon—very soon—the unseen will become seen. The spiritual will become physical. The King will return.
Until then?
Live like Paul. Give like Paul. Preach like Paul. Die like Paul.
“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” - Philippians 1:21
The Day of the Lord has come.
The Kingdom is here.
The King is returning.
What will you do?
