The 21-Day Delay Revealed

Daniel’s Vision and the Harpazo Timeline

A Discovery Worth Sharing

As a humble, unworthy sinner who is loved by Jesus—and who loves Jesus (the living Word of God) back more than anything else—I spend my life studying the Bible from cover to cover. I’m a nobody, but as a Bible nerd I stumbled upon something that feels like buried treasure in an archaeological dig.

I want to share this discovery with you, not because I have all the answers, but because this teaching is biblically rock solid and helps explain EVERYTHING about the Harpazo.

This comes from the YouTube channel “The Return of the King” ([watch the full video here](https://youtu.be/-e8Grww_kkw?si=U4oVGthZxGMNYm_B)), and I am genuinely amazed by this teaching. Many Christians, biblical scholars, Bible teachers, prophecy watchers, and Harpazo watchers have been mystified by Daniel’s 21-day delay. There are countless interpretations from rabbis, biblical scholars, and multitudes of Bible nerds (ordinary people who live to study the Bible)—many of them plausible.

But this one? This one is different.

I want to present this story well, giving credit where it’s due, and encouraging you to seek, knock, and find for yourself. Ask the Holy Spirit and Jesus for confirmation. I love bold people who risk everything to follow their faith in Jesus, so let’s honor this channel and investigate this together.

The Foundation: God Always Warns Before Judgment

Before we dive into the 21-day delay, we need to establish a foundational biblical principle:

God always warns before major judgment.

Biblical Evidence

Amos 3:7 – “For the Lord GOD does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants the prophets.”

This is not a suggestion—it’s a foundational principle. God does not spring judgment without advance notice through His prophets.

Ezekiel 33:11 – God says He takes no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but calls them to repent. Warnings are expressions of His mercy.

Noah’s 7-Day Warning – Before the flood, Noah was given a specific 7-day warning before the rains began (Genesis 7:4). God didn’t just say “someday”—He gave a precise timeframe.

Are There Times When No Warning Is Given?

Sudden judgments on individuals sometimes happen without recorded warning:

- Nadab and Abihu (Leviticus 10)
- Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5)

But these tend to be against people who already knew better and had ignored God’s holiness.

For NATIONS and civilizations, though, the pattern is consistent: God ALWAYS sends a prophetic voice, a sign, or a messenger before destruction.

God’s Heart: He Desires That NONE Perish

Before we go any further, we must understand God’s heart in all of this:

God’s Desire for All to Be Saved

1 Timothy 2:3–4 – “This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.”

2 Peter 3:9 – “The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.”

God Takes No Pleasure in Judgment

Ezekiel 18:23 – “Have I any pleasure in the death of the wicked, declares the Lord GOD, and not rather that he should turn from his way and live?”

Ezekiel 33:11 – “As I live, declares the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live.”

God Provided Salvation for the World

John 3:16–17 – “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.”

Romans 5:8 – “But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”

Judgment Comes Only by Rejection

John 3:18–19 – “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God. And this is the judgment: the light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than the light because their works were evil.”

Hell is not God’s desire—it is the result of people rejecting His offer of salvation.

Why Would God Make the Day of the Rapture Known?

Here’s the question that changes everything:

If God loves every single human being on this planet, why would He make the day of the Rapture known to the entire world?

Because He’s letting everyone know He’s coming to judge the world, and He’s giving one last chance before judgment falls.

But you can escape that judgment through Jesus Christ.

This is mercy. This is love. This is the heart of God on full display.

The Jewish Wedding Pattern: Not Done in Secret

The Rapture (Harpazo) is patterned after a Jewish wedding. And Jewish weddings are done in public, not in secret.

The Jewish Wedding Process

Betrothal – The man and woman are legally married but live separately and have not yet consummated the marriage.

The Groom Goes to Prepare – The groom goes to his father’s house and builds an addition for himself and his bride, usually taking one to two years.

The Father Gives Approval – When the addition is complete, the father gives the go-ahead for the wedding to begin.

Everyone Eventually Knows – In the Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25:1-13), everyone eventually knows the day and hour. In fact, they know the bridegroom is late. The wedding is public. It’s announced. It’s celebrated.

A Jewish Wedding Lasts Seven Days

Our wedding with Christ lasts seven years—the Tribulation is the wedding feast, culminating in Christ’s return with His Bride to reign on Earth.

The 21-Day Delay in Daniel

Now we come to the mystery that ties everything together.

Daniel 10: The Angel’s Response Is Delayed

In Daniel 10, Daniel prays and fasts for understanding. An angel is sent to answer him, but the response is delayed for 21 days.

Daniel 10:12-13 – “Then he said to me, ‘Fear not, Daniel, for from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come because of your words. The prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days, but Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, for I was left there with the kings of Persia.’”

Why the Delay?

The angel’s response was delayed because of a war in the heavens—spiritual warfare between God’s angels and the demonic princes ruling over nations.

This 21-day delay is a parallel to a delayed Harpazo.

Revelation 12: War in Heaven

Revelation 12:7-8 – “Now war arose in heaven, Michael and his angels fighting against the dragon. And the dragon and his angels fought back, but he was defeated, and there was no longer any place for them in heaven.”

This war in heaven—Michael fighting the dragon—is the reason for the delay.

Just as the angel bringing the message to Daniel was delayed 21 days, the Bride of Christ may be delayed by 21 days due to this same heavenly war.

The Parable of the Ten Virgins: The Bridegroom Is Delayed

In Matthew 25:1-13, Jesus tells the parable of the ten virgins waiting for the bridegroom.

Matthew 25:5 – “As the bridegroom was delayed, they all became drowsy and slept.”

The bridegroom, who usually comes at sunset, is delayed until midnight.

Midnight symbolizes the last possible moment.

The Connection

Sunset = Expected time (Feast of Trumpets)

Midnight = Delayed time (21 days later—Shemini Atzeret)

The bridegroom is late, but he does come. And when he comes, only those who are ready—with oil in their lamps—are taken into the wedding feast.

Shemini Atzeret: The Eighth Day

After the seven days of Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles), God commands an eighth day called Shemini Atzeret—the Assembly of the Eighth.

What Is Shemini Atzeret?

Hebrew “atzeret” = holding back, stopping, lingering

Unlike the seven days of Sukkot where sacrifices are many and nations are represented, Shemini Atzeret has a unique set of offerings: just one bull instead of 70

Rabbinic tradition says Shemini Atzeret is God asking His people: “Linger with me one more day—just you and me.”

The Beautiful Symbolism

Sukkot = Joy of the Kingdom (nations represented)

Shemini Atzeret = Marriage consummation and eternal union—the Bride with Christ forever (just God and His people)

This aligns beautifully with the Rapture wedding symbolism.

The 21-Day Count: From Trumpets to Shemini Atzeret

From the Feast of Trumpets to Shemini Atzeret, it’s 21 days.

The Significance of 21

21 = 7 × 3

Seven = the number of completion in the Bible

Three = the number of resurrection in the Bible

On Shemini Atzeret

The age of grace, the Church age, comes to a close

The dead in Christ rise first (resurrection—the number 3)

Then we who are alive rise to meet Christ in the air (completion—the number 7)

The 23rd Day: Sent Home Joyful

2 Chronicles 7:10 – “On the twenty-third day of the seventh month he sent the people away to their homes, joyful and glad of heart for the prosperity that the LORD had granted to David and to Solomon and to Israel his people.”

The day after Shemini Atzeret is the 23rd day of the seventh month.

What happens on the 23rd? The people are sent home—joyful and glad of heart.

By the 23rd, we will be in Heaven, joyful and glad of heart.

The Timeline: Tom Horn’s Work and the Asteroid Apophis

This timeline is based on Tom Horn’s work regarding the asteroid Apophis and the prophetic calendar.

Key Dates

Blood Moon Over Jerusalem – The tribulation begins with a blood moon over Jerusalem, the epicenter of the Tribulation.

“The sun shall be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes.” (Joel 2:31)

The Tribulation Lasts Seven Prophetic Years – Two periods of 1,260 days each.

Christ’s Return: Yom Kippur, September 16, 2032 – Counting backwards from Christ’s return by seven years brings us to October 23, 2025—the start of the Tribulation.

The Jubilee Begins: October 3, 2025 – The Jubilee is about return and restoration. Christ begins taking His kingdom back from the ruler of this world, Satan, in the year of Jubilee.

Feast of Trumpets: October 2, 2025 – The expected time for the Harpazo.

21-Day Delay – War in heaven (Revelation 12:7-8). Michael and his angels fight the dragon.

Shemini Atzeret: October 14-15, 2025 – The Harpazo occurs on the eighth day—the last possible feast day. (Using the biblical calendar from the time of Christ, not the modern Jewish calendar.)

October 23, 2025 – The Tribulation begins.

Midpoint: The Antichrist Desecrates the Temple – The Great Tribulation begins when the Antichrist declares himself to be God.

8-9 Days Later: Apophis Impacts Earth – Tom Horn, who has a proven track record of accuracy with dreams and visions, saw in a dream (more vivid than reality) an asteroid impact the Earth. When he awoke, he heard the word “Apophis.”

Yom Kippur 2032 – Christ returns. Surrounding His return is a blood moon tetrad.

The Evidence Is Irrefutable

The evidence presented here for a Shemini Atzeret Harpazo is compelling:

God always warns before judgment – He’s giving the world notice.

The Jewish wedding pattern – Public, announced, and eventually everyone knows the day.

The 21-day delay in Daniel – A prophetic parallel to the delayed Harpazo.

Revelation 12:7-8 – War in heaven delays the Bride’s departure.

The Parable of the Ten Virgins – The bridegroom is delayed until midnight (the last moment).

Shemini Atzeret – The eighth day, the last feast, “just you and me” between God and His Bride.

The 23rd day – Sent home joyful and glad of heart.

Tom Horn’s vision – Apophis and the prophetic timeline.

Blood moon tetrad surrounding 2032 – Confirming Christ’s return on Yom Kippur.

The Witnesses: Establishing the Matter

2 Corinthians 13:1 – “Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.” (quoting Deuteronomy 19:15)

According to “The Return of the King” channel:

Joshua Mhlakela is the first witness.
The channel host is the second.
Tom Horn is the third.

Meet Joshua Mhlakela: The First Witness

Joshua Mhlakela is a humble believer from South Africa—originally from Cape Town, now residing in Johannesburg. He claims no religious title. When asked if he was a full-time pastor, Joshua replied that he was “simply a person, no title,” and that he did not consider himself a “pastor, apostle or bishop” but a born-again believer in Jesus Christ.

Joshua’s birth itself was miraculous. When his mother was pregnant with him, his father had a dream in which God told him to name the baby “Joshua”—before they even knew the gender of the child. There were complications with his birth, and doctors warned his parents that he might be stillborn or injured. But Joshua survived, and his mother testified that she had to fight a spiritual force that disappeared after she held him.

Joshua’s Encounter with Jesus

In June 2025, Joshua appeared on the YouTube channel CettwinzTV to share what Jesus had revealed to him. He described seeing Jesus sitting on His throne, and hearing Him say, “very loud and clear”:

“I am coming soon. On the 23rd and 24th of September 2025, I will come to take my church.”

Joshua also said he began to hear “literally in my ear the sound of the trumpet.”

The Critical Calendar Distinction

Here is where many—including secular media and even some Christians—misunderstood Joshua’s message:

Jesus did not specify which calendar He was referring to.

When Jesus walked the Earth, He used the Julian calendar, not the modern Gregorian calendar (which wasn’t introduced until 1582 AD by Pope Gregory XIII). The Julian and Gregorian calendars are 13 days apart.

This means

September 23-24 (Gregorian) already passed in 2025

September 23-24 (Julian) corresponds to October 6-7 (Gregorian)—which aligns with Feast of Trumpets 2025

When the media reported that “Joshua’s prediction failed” because September 23-24 (Gregorian) came and went, they made a critical error: they assumed Jesus was using the Gregorian calendar.

But why would Jesus use a calendar created by a Pope 1,500 years after His resurrection? It’s far more likely that Jesus was referring to the biblical/Julian calendar that He Himself used during His earthly ministry.

“Coming” vs. “Arriving”: The 21-Day Delay

Joshua also explained something crucial: Jesus said He was “coming” on those dates—not that He would necessarily arrive on those dates.

This distinction is everything.

In the Parable of the Ten Virgins (Matthew 25:1-13), the bridegroom is delayed. He doesn’t arrive at the expected time (sunset); he arrives at midnight (the last possible moment).

The sequence Joshua described

Feast of Trumpets (Sept 23-24 Julian / Oct 6-7 Gregorian) — Jesus “comes” (initiates the process)

21-day delay — War in heaven (Revelation 12:7-8, Daniel 10:12-13)

Shemini Atzeret (Oct 14-15 Julian / Oct 27-28 Gregorian) — Jesus “arrives” and the Harpazo occurs

This perfectly explains why the bridegroom is late in the parable. He’s delayed by the war in heaven—Michael fighting the dragon—before the Church can be taken up.

Why the Media Got It Wrong

The viral RaptureTok phenomenon on TikTok, the news headlines, and even Christian critics all assumed:

Joshua meant the Gregorian calendar

The Rapture should have happened on September 23-24, 2025 (Gregorian)

When nothing happened on those dates, Joshua was a “false prophet”

But this assumption was premature and inaccurate.

As of today (October 7, 2025 Gregorian), we are at September 24, 2025 (Julian)—the date Joshua referenced. The 21-day delay would place the actual Harpazo around Shemini Atzeret (October 27-28 Gregorian / October 14-15 Julian).

Joshua’s Humility

When Joshua appeared on a livestream during what the media thought was his “failed prediction” date (Sept 23-24 Gregorian), he remained humble and said he was “still watching” and “waiting to be raptured.”

He didn’t recant. He didn’t panic. He continued to trust what Jesus had told him—because he understood the calendar distinction and the 21-day delay.

Critics mocked him. The media ridiculed him. Even some Christians dismissed him as a false prophet.

But Joshua cannot be wrong yet, because the timeline he described—using the Julian calendar and accounting for the 21-day delay—hasn’t concluded.

Why Joshua Matters as a Witness

Joshua is the first witness because:

He claims to have received this directly from Jesus in a divine encounter

He connected it to Feast of Trumpets (the correct feast typologically)

He explained the 21-day delay (war in heaven, Daniel 10, Revelation 12)

He pointed to Shemini Atzeret as the actual fulfillment

He understood the calendar distinction (Julian vs. Gregorian)

He remains humble, claiming no title, just a believer sharing what Jesus told him

Whether or not the Harpazo occurs on Shemini Atzeret 2025, Joshua’s teaching has:

Awakened millions to watch and be ready

Connected biblical patterns (feasts, Daniel’s delay, Revelation 12)

Pointed people back to Scripture

Issued a warning to the world: Jesus is coming

God is raising up witnesses to sound the alarm—not to cause fear, but to give the world one last chance to repent and believe before judgment falls.

The Call: Believe and Be Saved

If you want to have eternal life and be taken out before Christ comes to take His kingdom back from the ruler of this world, Satan, read the Gospel of John.

Believe in your heart in the Jesus you see there, and you will be saved.

Salvation Is by Grace Through Faith

Ephesians 2:8-9 – “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.”

Romans 11:6 – “But if it is by grace, it is no longer on the basis of works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.”

When you truly believe with your heart, your life changes. Your desire becomes to know God and please Him.

Once you are saved, you are always saved.

Why I’m Sharing This

I’m sharing this because:

I’m amazed by this teaching. It’s biblically rock solid.

It helps explain EVERYTHING about the Harpazo—the delay, the timing, the feast pattern, the witnesses.

God’s heart is that no one perishes. If there’s even a chance this is true, the world deserves to hear it.

I love bold people who risk everything to follow their faith in Jesus. This channel is being bold, and I want to honor that.

I’m not saying I have all the answers. I’m a Biblical nobody—a humble, unworthy sinner who is loved by Jesus and who loves Him back.

But I’ve stumbled upon something that feels like buried treasure, and I want to share it with you.

The Bottom Line

The King is coming.

Maybe on Feast of Trumpets (October 2, 2025).

Maybe delayed 21 days to Shemini Atzeret (October 14-15, 2025).

But He is coming.

And if this timeline is accurate, the world has been given notice—not to instill fear, but to extend one last invitation to escape judgment through Jesus Christ.

“Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.” (John 3:18)

Final Encouragement

Seek. Knock. Find.

Ask the Holy Spirit and Jesus for confirmation. Study the Scriptures. Watch and be ready.

And if you haven’t yet believed in Jesus Christ as your Savior, today is the day.

“Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” (2 Corinthians 6:2)
