Daniel 7 describes THE MOST SIGNIFICANT EVENT that will ever occur in human history:
The complete and total transfer of ALL SOVEREIGNTY, ALL DOMINION, ALL GREATNESS of EVERY KINGDOM under the WHOLE HEAVEN to the SAINTS OF THE HIGHEST ONE.
Forever.
Not temporary. Not partial. Not conditional.
FOREVER.
And yet...
How many sermons have you heard on this chapter?
How many Christians could explain what it means?
How many churches are FOCUSED on this revelation?
The world is chasing after:
- Political power
- Economic dominance
- Military might
- Cultural influence
- Technological supremacy
But Daniel 7 reveals:
ALL OF IT - every kingdom, every empire, every dominion - will be TAKEN AWAY from human governments and demonic powers and GIVEN TO THE SAINTS.
How is it possible that everyone is not focused on this ONE THING?

PART 1: THE VISION - Daniel 7:1-14
The Setting
Daniel 7:1-2 - "In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel saw a dream and visions in his mind as he lay on his bed; then he wrote the dream down and related the following summary of it. Daniel said, 'I was looking in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the great sea.'"
FINDING: This is a VISION from God, not Daniel's imagination. The "great sea" represents humanity (Revelation 17:15).
Four Beasts = Four Kingdoms
Daniel 7:3-7 - "And four great beasts were coming up from the sea, different from one another. The first was like a lion and had the wings of an eagle...And behold, another beast, a second one, resembling a bear...After this I kept looking, and behold, another one, like a leopard...After this I kept looking in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, dreadful and terrifying and extremely strong; and it had large iron teeth."
Historical interpretation:
1. Lion with eagle's wings = Babylon
2. Bear = Medo-Persia
3. Leopard with four wings and four heads = Greece (divided into four kingdoms after Alexander)
4. Fourth beast - terrifying, with iron teeth = Rome (and its final form)
But the focus is on the FOURTH BEAST.
The Little Horn
Daniel 7:8 - "While I was thinking about the horns, behold, another horn, a little one, came up among them, and three of the first horns were pulled out by the roots before it; and behold, this horn possessed eyes like human eyes, and a mouth uttering great boasts."
FINDING: Out of the fourth beast (final form of Rome/world government), a "little horn" arises:
- Has eyes like human eyes (intelligence, cunning)
- Has a mouth uttering great boasts (pride, blasphemy)
- Uproots three other horns (defeats three kings/kingdoms)
This is the ANTICHRIST.
The Ancient of Days Takes His Throne
Daniel 7:9-10 - "I kept looking Until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took His seat; His garment was white as snow And the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze with flames, Its wheels were a burning fire. A river of fire was flowing And coming out from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; The court convened, And the books were opened."
FINDING: This is GOD THE FATHER (the Ancient of Days) sitting in judgment. A COURT convenes. Books are opened. Judgment begins.
The Beast is Destroyed
Daniel 7:11-12 - "Then I kept looking because of the sound of the boastful words which the horn was speaking; I kept looking until the beast was killed, and its body was destroyed and given to the burning fire. As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but an extension of life was granted to them for an appointed period of time."
FINDING:
- The fourth beast (and the little horn) are DESTROYED
- Their bodies thrown into burning fire
- The other beasts lose dominion but exist for a time
- This is TOTAL, FINAL judgment
The Son of Man Comes
Daniel 7:13-14 - "I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a son of man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. And to Him was given dominion, Honor, and a kingdom, So that all the peoples, nations, and populations of all languages Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed."
FINDING: THE SON OF MAN (JESUS CHRIST) comes to the Ancient of Days and receives:
- DOMINION - Authority over everything
- HONOR - Glory and majesty
- A KINGDOM - Rule over all creation
ALL peoples, nations, and languages will SERVE HIM.
His dominion:
- EVERLASTING - Never ends
- WILL NOT PASS AWAY - Permanent
- WILL NOT BE DESTROYED - Indestructible
This is JESUS receiving the Kingdom after justifying the Saints of the Highest One.

PART 2: THE INTERPRETATION - Daniel 7:15-28
Daniel is Troubled and Asks for Explanation
Daniel 7:15-16 - "As for me, Daniel, my spirit was distressed within me, and the visions in my mind kept alarming me. I approached one of those who were standing by and began requesting of him the exact meaning of all this. So he told me and made known to me the interpretation of these things."
Even Daniel - a prophet who regularly received visions - was ALARMED by this vision.
Why? Because it reveals the CLIMAX of human history.
The Four Beasts = Four Kings/Kingdoms
Daniel 7:17 - "These great beasts, which are four in number, are four kings who will arise from the earth."
FINDING: The four beasts represent four successive kingdoms/empires that will dominate earth.
THE CRITICAL VERSE: Saints Will Receive the Kingdom
Daniel 7:18 - "But the saints of the Highest One will receive the kingdom and possess the kingdom forever, for all ages to come."
STOP. READ THAT AGAIN.
THE SAINTS OF THE HIGHEST ONE WILL:
1. RECEIVE the kingdom
2. POSSESS the kingdom
3. FOREVER
4. For all ages to come
This is the CENTRAL POINT of the entire vision.
All the beasts, all the kingdoms, all the empires - they're temporary.
But THE SAINTS will receive and possess the Kingdom FOREVER.
Daniel Wants More About the Fourth Beast
Daniel 7:19-20 - "Then I desired to know the exact meaning of the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, exceedingly dreadful, with its teeth of iron and its claws of bronze, and which devoured, crushed, and trampled down the remainder with its feet, and the meaning of the ten horns that were on its head, and the other horn which came up and before which three of them fell, namely, that horn which had eyes and a mouth uttering great boasts, and which was larger in appearance than its associates."
Daniel specifically focuses on:
- The fourth beast (most terrifying)
- The ten horns (ten kings/kingdoms)
- The little horn (Antichrist) that defeats three others
The Little Horn Wars Against the Saints
Daniel 7:21-22 - "I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the saints and prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom."
THIS IS CRITICAL:
The little horn (Antichrist):
- WAGES WAR with the saints
- PREVAILS AGAINST THEM (wins temporarily)
UNTIL:
- The Ancient of Days COMES
- JUDGMENT is passed IN FAVOR of the saints
- THE TIME ARRIVED when the saints TOOK POSSESSION of the kingdom
Let that sink in:
There is a specific TIME when the saints TAKE POSSESSION of the Kingdom.
That TIME has not yet come. But it WILL come.
And when it comes, EVERYTHING CHANGES FOREVER.
The Fourth Beast Explained
Daniel 7:23 - "This is what he said: 'The fourth beast will be a fourth kingdom on the earth which will be different from all the other kingdoms, and will devour the whole earth and trample it down and crush it.'"
FINDING: The fourth kingdom (final form of world government) will:
- Be different from all others
- DEVOUR THE WHOLE EARTH - Global dominion
- Trample and crush everything
This is the final world empire under Antichrist.
The Ten Horns = Ten Kings
Daniel 7:24 - "As for the ten horns, out of this kingdom ten kings will arise; and another will arise after them, and he will be different from the previous ones and will humble three kings."
FINDING:
- Ten kings will arise from this fourth kingdom
- Another king (the little horn/Antichrist) arises AFTER them
- He is DIFFERENT from the others
- He defeats/humbles three kings
Revelation 17:12-13 confirms this: "The ten horns which you saw are ten kings who have not yet received a kingdom, but they receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour. These have one purpose, and they give their power and authority to the beast."
The ten kings will rule WITH the Antichrist, giving him their power.

PART 3: THE LITTLE HORN'S ACTIONS AGAINST THE SAINTS
Speaking Against the Most High
Daniel 7:25a - "And he will speak against the Most High..."
What does "speak against" mean?
The Hebrew word is (millin) - to speak words, utterances.
But the context is clear: BLASPHEMY.
Revelation 13:5-6 - "And there was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him. And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven."
The Antichrist will:
- Speak arrogant words
- Blaspheme God's name
- Blaspheme God's tabernacle
- Blaspheme those in heaven (the saints who were raptured?)
2 Thessalonians 2:4 - "who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God."
He will:
- Oppose God
- Exalt himself ABOVE God
- Sit in God's temple
- Claim to BE God
This is the ultimate blasphemy - claiming to be God Himself.
Wearing Down the Saints
Daniel 7:25b - "...and will wear down the saints of the Highest One..."
"WEAR DOWN" - Hebrew: (bela) - to wear out, harass, afflict, persecute
This is not a quick persecution. This is SUSTAINED, RELENTLESS pressure.
Like water slowly wearing away a rock.
Like constant harassment that never stops.
Like grinding someone down until they're exhausted.
HOW will he wear down the saints?
Revelation 13:7 - "It was also given to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them, and authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation was given to him."
He will:
1. Make WAR with the saints - Physical violence, persecution
2. OVERCOME them - Martyrdom, imprisonment, torture
Revelation 13:15-17 - "And it was given to him to give breath to the image of the beast, so that the image of the beast would even speak and cause all who do not worship the image of the beast to be killed. And he causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slave, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, and he decrees that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name."
He will wear down the saints by:
1. ECONOMIC EXCLUSION
- Can't buy or sell without the mark
- Can't work
- Can't provide for family
- Economic pressure to conform
2. SOCIAL OSTRACISM
- Excluded from society
- Treated as outcasts
- Mocked and ridiculed
- Isolated
3. PHYSICAL PERSECUTION
- Imprisonment
- Torture
- Death threats
- Actual martyrdom
4. PSYCHOLOGICAL WARFARE
- Constant fear
- Watching loved ones suffer
- Pressure to deny Christ
- Temptation to take the mark
5. SPIRITUAL DECEPTION
- False signs and wonders (2 Thess 2:9)
- Claiming to be God
- Demanding worship
- Confusing truth with lies
This is how he "WEARS DOWN" the saints - relentless pressure from every angle, day after day, for 3.5 years.
Altering Times and Law
Daniel 7:25c - "...and he will intend to make alterations in times and in law..."
"ALTERATIONS" - Hebrew: (shena) - to change, alter, transform
What times and laws?
Times:
- Biblical feast days and calendar?
- Sabbath observance?
- Prophetic timelines?
- Perhaps even attempting to change TIME itself (like calendar reforms)?
Law:
- God's moral law (Ten Commandments)?
- Laws against worshiping other gods?
- Laws protecting religious freedom?
- Natural law (marriage, gender, life)?
We're already seeing:
Attacks on biblical morality (abortion legalized, homosexuality celebrated)
- Marriage redefined
- Gender confused and altered
- Sabbath disregarded
- Christian holidays secularized or eliminated
- Laws passed AGAINST biblical Christianity
The Antichrist will take this to the EXTREME:
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 - "that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God."
He is called "the man of LAWLESSNESS" - he HATES God's law and will seek to ABOLISH it.
He will declare:
- God's laws are void
- HIS laws are supreme
- Worship him or die
- Take his mark or starve
- Conform to his times and laws or be excluded
This is the ultimate rebellion against God's order.
Handed Over for Time, Times, and Half a Time
Daniel 7:25d - "...and they will be handed over to him for a time, times, and half a time."
"TIME, TIMES, AND HALF A TIME"
Time = 1 year
Times = 2 years
Half a time = 1/2 year
TOTAL = 3.5 years
This is confirmed throughout Scripture:
Daniel 12:7 - "I heard the man dressed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, as he raised his right hand and his left toward heaven, and swore by Him who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time; and as soon as they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these events will be completed."
Revelation 12:14 - "But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she was nourished for a time, times, and half a time, from the presence of the serpent."
Revelation 13:5 - "and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him."
42 months = 3.5 years
Revelation 11:2-3 - "Leave out the courtyard which is outside the temple and do not measure it, because it has been given to the nations; and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months. And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth."
1,260 days = 42 months = 3.5 years
FINDING: The saints will be "handed over" to the Antichrist for 3.5 YEARS - the second half of Daniel's 70th Week (the Great Tribulation).
"HANDED OVER" - Does this mean:
- God permits this persecution?
- God allows the Antichrist to test the saints?
- God uses this to refine and purify His people?
YES.
Just as God "handed over" Job to Satan (within limits), God will "hand over" the Tribulation saints to the Antichrist (within limits - only 3.5 years, and only those who refuse the mark and stand firm).
Why?
Revelation 7:14 - "I said to him, 'My lord, you know.' And he said to me, 'These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.'"
They come OUT of the Great Tribulation with robes WASHED WHITE.
The persecution purifies them. The suffering refines them. The martyrdom glorifies Christ.
But it only lasts 3.5 years. Then...

PART 4: THE COURT CONVENES - JUDGMENT IN FAVOR OF THE SAINTS
The Court Sits in Judgment
Daniel 7:26a - "But the court will convene for judgment..."
WHAT COURT?
This is the HEAVENLY COURT - God's throne room.
We saw it earlier:
Daniel 7:9-10 - "I kept looking Until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took His seat; His throne was ablaze with flames, Its wheels were a burning fire. A river of fire was flowing And coming out from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; The court convened, And the books were opened."
This is the SUPREME COURT of the universe - presided over by God the Father Himself.
Thousands upon thousands (angelic beings)
Myriads upon myriads (innumerable witnesses)
Books opened (evidence presented)
And the verdict?
His Dominion Taken Away, Annihilated, Destroyed Forever
Daniel 7:26b - "...and his dominion will be taken away, annihilated, and destroyed forever."
The Antichrist's dominion will be:
1. TAKEN AWAY - Stripped from him
2. ANNIHILATED - Completely wiped out, obliterated
3. DESTROYED - Ruined, demolished
4. FOREVER - Never to return
This is TOTAL, PERMANENT, IRREVERSIBLE judgment.
Revelation 19:20 - "And the beast was seized, and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image; these two were thrown alive into the lake of fire which burns with brimstone."
The Antichrist and False Prophet are thrown ALIVE into the Lake of Fire.
Not killed first, then judged.
ALIVE - conscious, aware - thrown into eternal torment.
Revelation 20:10 - "And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever."
1000 years later, the beast and false prophet are STILL there, being tormented.
This is FOREVER destruction.

PART 5: THE TRANSFER OF ALL DOMINION TO THE SAINTS
Sovereignty, Dominion, and Greatness Given to the Saints
Daniel 7:27 - "Then the sovereignty, the dominion, and the greatness of all the kingdoms under the whole heaven will be given to the people of the saints of the Highest One; His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the empires will serve and obey Him."
READ THAT SLOWLY. READ IT AGAIN.
THEN:
- THE SOVEREIGNTY (supreme authority)
- THE DOMINION (ruling power)
- THE GREATNESS (majesty, glory, splendor)
- OF ALL THE KINGDOMS (every single one)
- UNDER THE WHOLE HEAVEN (every nation, every empire, every government on earth)
WILL BE GIVEN TO:
- THE PEOPLE OF THE SAINTS OF THE HIGHEST ONE
Not just "the saints" individually.
But "THE PEOPLE OF the saints" - a collective body, a nation, a kingdom.
WHO ARE THESE SAINTS?

PART 6: WHO ARE THE SAINTS OF THE HIGHEST ONE?
"Saints" in Daniel 7
The term "saints" appears 4 times in Daniel 7:
Daniel 7:18 - "the saints of the Highest One will receive the kingdom"
Daniel 7:21 - "that horn was waging war with the saints"
Daniel 7:22 - "judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One"
Daniel 7:27 - "given to the people of the saints of the Highest One"
The Hebrew word is (qaddishin) - holy ones, consecrated ones, set apart ones
In the Old Testament context, this could mean:
1. Angels (holy ones in God's presence)
2. Israel (God's chosen, holy people)
3. Believers (those set apart for God)
But in the FULL biblical revelation, we see:
The Saints Include Both Old Testament and New Testament Believers
Ephesians 1:1 - "Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints who are at Ephesus and who are faithful in Christ Jesus."
Philippians 1:1 - "Paul and Timothy, bond-servants of Christ Jesus, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi."
Colossians 1:2 - "To the saints and faithful brothers and sisters in Christ who are at Colossae."
All believers in Christ are called "saints."
Hebrews 11:39-40 - "And all these, having gained approval through their faith, did not receive what was promised, because God had provided something better for us, so that they would not be made perfect without us."
Old Testament saints and New Testament saints are ONE BODY - perfected TOGETHER.
The Saints Are Those Who Will Reign with Christ
Revelation 20:4, 6 - "Then I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their foreheads and on their hands; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years...Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with Him for a thousand years."
The saints who reign with Christ include:
1. Those beheaded for testimony of Jesus (Tribulation martyrs)
2. Those who did not worship the beast (Tribulation believers who survived)
3. Those in the first resurrection (all believers from all ages)
1 Corinthians 6:2-3 - "Or do you not know that the saints will judge the world? If the world is judged by you, are you not competent to constitute the smallest law courts? Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more matters of this life?"
Saints will:
- Judge the world
- Judge angels
- Reign with Christ
2 Timothy 2:12 - "If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He also will deny us."
Revelation 5:10 - "You have made them into a kingdom and priests to our God; and they will reign upon the earth."
THE SAINTS = ALL BELIEVERS - Old Testament, New Testament, Tribulation - who are resurrected/raptured and glorified.
We are being made into:
- A KINGDOM (ruling authority)
- PRIESTS (mediators, worship leaders)
- REIGNING UPON THE EARTH (not just in heaven)

PART 7: IS IT "THAT TIME"? ARE WE AT "THAT DAY"?
"The Time Arrived" - Daniel 7:22
Daniel 7:22 - "until the Ancient of Days came and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom."
There is a specific TIME when this happens.
Not vague. Not "eventually." A specific TIME.
Are we at THAT TIME?
Signs That We're Approaching THAT TIME
1. Israel Regathered (1948)
Ezekiel 37:21-22 - "Say to them, 'This is what the Lord GOD says: "Behold, I am going to take the sons of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king for all of them; and they will no longer be two nations, and no longer be divided into two kingdoms."'"
Israel back in the land = prophetic clock ticking again.
2. Knowledge Increased (Now)
Daniel 12:4 - "But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase."
Explosion of knowledge = end time sign.
3. Gospel Preached to All Nations (Nearly Complete)
Matthew 24:14 - "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come."
Technology now allows the gospel to reach everywhere.
4. Apostasy Increasing (Now)
2 Thessalonians 2:3 - "that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first."
The DEPARTURE, or Rapture.
5. Moral Collapse Like Noah and Lot (Now)
We covered this in Article 5 (40 and 120).
6. World Moving Toward Global Government (Now)
The "fourth beast" of Daniel 7 is a global empire. We see:
- UN, WHO, WEF pushing global governance
- Digital currency being developed
- Surveillance technology enabling mark of the beast system
- Nations giving up sovereignty
7. Technology for Mark of the Beast (Now)
Revelation 13:16-17 describes a system where no one can buy or sell without a mark.
For the first time in history, this is technologically possible:
- Digital IDs
- Biometric scanning
- Implantable chips
- Cashless society
- Social credit systems
ARE WE AT "THAT TIME"?
We may be VERY CLOSE.
All the pieces are in place. All the signs are present.
The stage is set for:
- The Rapture
- The revealing of Antichrist
- The 7-year Tribulation
- The Second Coming
- The transfer of all dominion to the saints
THE TIME IS NOW. NOW IS THE TIME.

PART 8: WHY IS THE WHOLE WORLD NOT FOCUSED ON THIS?
The Most Important Question
Given everything that is happening in the world and in the heavens right now, how could we miss this chapter (Daniel 7)?
Shouldn't this book, this chapter, this Bible be what the whole world should be looking at, seeking, praying for? What are we missing? How is it possible that everyone is not focused on this one thing?"
This is THE question.
Why isn't every church preaching Daniel 7 every week?
Why isn't every Christian studying this chapter?
Why isn't the world aware of this coming transfer of dominion?
Reasons Why People Miss This
1. SPIRITUAL BLINDNESS
2 Corinthians 4:3-4 - "And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelieving so that they will not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God."
Satan has BLINDED the minds of unbelievers.
They CANNOT see this truth even when shown to them.
2. LOVE OF THIS WORLD
1 John 2:15-17 - "Do not love the world nor the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. The world is passing away and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God continues to live forever."
People are too busy:
- Building earthly kingdoms
- Accumulating wealth
- Seeking pleasure
- Pursuing fame
They don't WANT to think about God taking over and ending their kingdoms.
3. CHURCH DISTRACTED BY OTHER THINGS
Many churches focus on:
- Self-help messages
- Prosperity gospel
- Social justice (without true justice from God)
- Entertainment and programs
- Building projects and budgets
Instead of:
- The return of Christ
- The Kingdom of God
- Holiness and separation
- Watching and being ready
2 Timothy 4:3-4 - "For the time will come when they will not tolerate sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, and they will turn their ears away from the truth and will turn aside to myths."
People want COMFORTABLE teaching, not CHALLENGING truth.
4. PROPHETIC FATIGUE
Many have heard:
- "Jesus is coming soon!" for decades
- Date-setting that failed
- Sensational prophecy theories that didn't pan out
So they've become NUMB to the message.
They assume: "People have always said this, nothing ever happens."
But this is EXACTLY what Peter warned about:
2 Peter 3:3-4 - "Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, 'Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue just as they were from the beginning of creation.'"
The scoffers say: "Nothing ever changes. Jesus isn't coming."
But Peter continues:
2 Peter 3:9-10 - "The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not willing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be discovered."
He WILL come. Suddenly. Like a thief.
5. FEAR OF PERSECUTION
If people truly believed Daniel 7:
- That the Antichrist will wage war on saints
- That saints will be handed over for 3.5 years
- That martyrdom is coming
They might be afraid.
So they avoid thinking about it.
But Jesus said:
Matthew 10:28 - "And do not be afraid of those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell."
6. DEMONIC OPPOSITION
Satan DOES NOT WANT people focused on:
- The return of Christ
- The coming Kingdom
- The judgment of evil
- The saints receiving dominion
Why? Because it's his DOOM.
So he works to:
- Distract people
- Confuse people
- Discourage people
- Deceive people
About the most important event coming.
What We're Missing
We're missing:
1. THE URGENCY
This is not "someday." This could be SOON. Very soon.
2. THE GLORY
This is the most GLORIOUS event in history - the transfer of ALL DOMINION to the saints.
Why aren't we EXCITED about this?
3. THE PREPARATION
If we believed this was imminent, we'd:
- Live holy lives
- Share the gospel urgently
- Store treasure in heaven
- Watch and pray
- Be ready
4. THE FOCUS
If we truly understood Daniel 7, we'd realize:
NOTHING ELSE MATTERS as much as this.
Not politics. Not careers. Not wealth. Not comfort.
ONLY:
- Being ready for His return
- Being found faithful
- Taking possession of the Kingdom with Him

PART 9: THE EVERLASTING KINGDOM - WHAT IT WILL BE LIKE
His Kingdom Will Be Everlasting
Daniel 7:27 - "His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom, and all the empires will serve and obey Him."
EVERLASTING = Never ends, lasts forever, eternal
Unlike:
- Babylon (fell)
- Medo-Persia (fell)
- Greece (fell)
- Rome (fell)
- Every human kingdom (all fell)
HIS KINGDOM WILL NEVER FALL.
All Empires Will Serve and Obey
Every nation. Every people. Every kingdom.
Will SERVE Him.
Will OBEY Him.
Not reluctantly. Not by force.
But with JOY.
Psalm 2:10-12 - "Now therefore, O kings, take wise action; Take warning, O judges of the earth. Worship the LORD with reverence And rejoice with trembling. Do homage to the Son, so that He does not become angry, and you do not perish on the way, For His wrath may be kindled quickly. Blessed are all who take refuge in Him!"
Kings will worship.
Judges will take warning.
All will do homage to the Son.
What the Kingdom Will Look Like
Isaiah 2:2-4 - describes nations streaming to Jerusalem to learn God's ways, peace among nations, no more war.
Isaiah 11:6-9 - describes animals at peace, children safe with cobras, no harm in all God's holy mountain, earth full of knowledge of the Lord.
Isaiah 65:20-25 - describes long life, prosperity, answered prayer, peace in creation.
Zechariah 14:9, 16-17 - "And the LORD will be king over all the earth; in that day the LORD will be the only one, and His name the only one...Then it will come about that any who are left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up from year to year to worship the King, the LORD of armies, and to celebrate the Feast of Booths."
The Kingdom will be characterized by:
- Perfect justice
- Perfect peace
- Perfect prosperity
- Perfect knowledge of God
- Perfect worship
- Christ ruling from Jerusalem
- Saints reigning with Him
- Creation restored
- Curse lifted
- Death defeated
- Satan bound
For 1000 YEARS.
And then the New Heaven and New Earth - FOREVER.

PART 10: CONCLUSION - THE MOST SIGNIFICANT EVENT
This Is What We Should Be Focused On
Daniel 7 describes THE MOST SIGNIFICANT EVENT in all of human history:
The complete and total transfer of ALL SOVEREIGNTY, ALL DOMINION, ALL GREATNESS of EVERY KINGDOM to THE SAINTS OF THE HIGHEST ONE.
Forever.
This is:
- More important than any election
- More important than any war
- More important than any economic system
- More important than any technology
- More important than any human achievement
THIS is what history is building toward.
THIS is the climax of God's plan.
THIS is what we should be watching for, preparing for, longing for.
The Questions Answered
Q: Who are the saints of the Highest One?
A: All believers - Old Testament, New Testament, Tribulation - who are resurrected/raptured and glorified.
Q: Is it "that time"? Are we at "that day"?
A: We may be VERY close. All signs point to the imminent fulfillment.
Q: How will the Antichrist wear down the saints?
A: Economic exclusion, social ostracism, physical persecution, psychological warfare, spiritual deception - relentless pressure for 3.5 years.
Q: What alterations of time and law?
A: He will attempt to abolish God's laws and times, instituting his own godless system.
Q: How will saints be handed over for time, times, and half a time?
A: God will permit (within limits) the Antichrist to persecute the Tribulation saints for 3.5 years to refine and purify them.
Q: What court will convene?
A: The heavenly court - God's throne room with the Ancient of Days presiding.
Q: What judgment?
A: Judgment AGAINST the Antichrist (destroyed forever) and judgment IN FAVOR of the saints (receiving the Kingdom).
Q: Why isn't everyone focused on this?
A: Spiritual blindness, love of world, church distraction, prophetic fatigue, fear, demonic opposition.
The Call
THE TIME IS NOW. NOW IS THE TIME.
To:
- Study Daniel 7
- Understand what's coming
- Prepare your heart
- Live holy
- Watch and pray
- Share this with others
- Long for His appearing
- Be ready to receive the Kingdom
Because ONE DAY SOON:
The court will convene.
The Antichrist will be destroyed.
The saints will take possession.
ALL dominion will be transferred.
The Kingdom will be established.
FOREVER.
And you - if you are His - will REIGN with Him.
Over nations. Over cities. As kings and priests.
In perfect righteousness. Perfect peace. Perfect joy.
FOREVER.
