THE LAST SERMON
"Behold, I Come Quickly"
A Final Call to the Great Basin Region
Revelation 22:12 "And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be."
OPENING PRAYER
"Lord Jesus, if this is indeed our last Sunday before You come for Your Bride, let Your Holy Spirit speak through every pastor, teacher, and shepherd in the Great Basin today. May every word be Yours, every heart be opened, and every soul that You have chosen be saved before the door shuts. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our coming King. Amen."
THIS IS THE LAST SUNDAY
I sit before you today with the weightiest message I have ever taught and typed. I am shaking, crying, and very emotional. None of that matters.
After seven years of walking in the cool of the day with Jesus, in prayer, day after day, constantly searching and studying His Word, seeking His Kingdom, Righteousness, and to see His beautiful face, I am convinced beyond any shadow of doubt that the Harpazo (Rapture) is imminent - this very week.
ALL signs Jesus gave us are converging:
Israel regathered as a nation (1948) - the fig tree putting forth leaves.
This fig tree generation (Israel 70-80 years) has not passed away.
The Feast of Trumpets approaches - the feast where "no one knows the day or hour."
Global conditions match Jesus' end-times prophecies exactly.
If I am right, this is the last sermon you will hear in the Church Age. If I am wrong, you've heard the Gospel one more time and been called to deeper faith. Either way, this message could determine your eternal destiny.
Today I speak not as a Baptist, Methodist, Catholic, or any denomination. I speak as a bondservant of Jesus Christ with one message: BE READY. GET READY. THE KING IS COMING.
THE THIEF ON THE CROSS - THE ONLY WAY IN
You Are Hanging on That Cross Right Now
Luke 23:39-43 "One of the criminals who were hanged there was hurling abuse at Him, saying, 'Are You not the Christ? Save Yourself and us!' But the other answered, and rebuking him said, 'Do you not even fear God, since you are under the same sentence of condemnation? And we indeed are suffering justly, for we are receiving what we deserve for our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.' And he was saying, 'Jesus, remember me when You come in Your kingdom!' And He said to him, 'Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise.'"
Two thieves hung beside Jesus - both condemned criminals with no power to save themselves. You are one of those thieves. Every person in this room is hanging on that cross, guilty before God, powerless to help yourself, facing eternity in minutes.
The first thief mocked Jesus:
"If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us!"
He wanted rescue without repentance.
He demanded proof before believing.
He remained hard-hearted even facing death.
The second thief had a revelation:
"Do you not even fear God?" - Recognition of God's holiness.
"We indeed justly" - Acknowledgment of personal guilt.
"This Man has done nothing wrong" - Recognition of Jesus' innocence.
"Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom" - Simple faith.
Jesus' immediate response:
"Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."
What the Thief Did NOT Do
Listen carefully - the thief did NOTHING to earn salvation:
No baptism - he was nailed to a cross.
No church membership - he was a criminal.
No good works - he couldn't move.
No religious ceremony - no priest was there.
No penance - no time for payment.
No theological understanding - he knew almost nothing.
He simply BELIEVED.
What This Means for You
Romans 10:9 "If you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
You cannot earn your way to heaven. You cannot work your way into God's favor. You cannot be good enough, religious enough, or sincere enough.
JESUS HAS DONE EVERYTHING. YOU NEED ONLY BELIEVE.
THE DOOR IS ABOUT TO SHUT
The Parable That Should Terrify You
Luke 13:24-25 "Strive to enter through the narrow gate, for many, I say to you, will seek to enter and will not be able. When once the Master of the house has risen up and shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock at the door, saying, 'Lord, Lord, open for us,' and He will answer and say to you, 'I do not know you, where you are from.'"
The Greek word "strive" (agonizomai) means to AGONIZE.
Many will seek to enter but WILL NOT BE ABLE. Why? Because the door will be SHUT.
The Ten Virgins - Half Were Shut Out
Matthew 25:1-13 - Five wise virgins had oil (Holy Spirit), five foolish virgins had no oil (religion without relationship).
Matthew 25:1-13 "Then the kingdom of heaven will be comparable to ten virgins, who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. Five of them were foolish, and five were prudent. For when the foolish took their lamps, they took no oil with them, but the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps. Now while the bridegroom was delaying, they all got drowsy and began to sleep. But at midnight there was a shout, 'Behold, the bridegroom! Come out to meet him.' Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. The foolish said to the prudent, 'Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.' But the prudent answered, 'No, there will not be enough for us and you too; go instead to the dealers and buy some for yourselves.' And while they were going away to make the purchase, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding feast; and the door was shut. Later the other virgins also came, saying, 'Lord, lord, open up for us.' But he answered, 'Truly I say to you, I do not know you.' Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour."
When the bridegroom came:
The wise went in to the wedding feast
The foolish were left outside
The door was shut
"I do not know you" was the final word
The oil represents being truly born again by the Holy Spirit.
When the Harpazo Happens
1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 "For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air."
When this happens:
The Church is removed from earth in the twinkling of an eye.
The door of grace shuts for this age.
The Holy Spirit's restraining influence is lifted.
Seven years of tribulation begin on earth.
Those left behind face the Antichrist, mark of the beast, and God's wrath.
After the Harpazo, the only way to salvation is through martyrdom during the tribulation. You must refuse the mark of the beast and be willing to die for Jesus.
DON'T WAIT. THE DOOR IS STILL OPEN TODAY, BUT IT'S ABOUT TO SHUT FOREVER.
A FATHER'S HEART TO EVERY PARENT
Your Children Will Be Safe
Parents, listen to my heart. After walking WITH Jesus for seven years, after becoming a grandfather and understanding the Father's love in a new way, I need you to know:
YOUR CHILDREN WILL BE TAKEN IN THE HARPAZO REGARDLESS OF YOUR DECISION.
Matthew 19:14 "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.'"
This includes:
Your babies and toddlers.
Your young children who haven't reached accountability.
Your teenagers who are still innocent before God.
The precious life growing in the womb right now.
They possess the very nature Jesus requires for His Kingdom - innocence, trust, complete dependence.
MOCKERS, READ THIS BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.
If You Are Left Behind
If you reject Christ today and find yourself still on earth after the Harpazo:
DO NOT DESPAIR - Your children are safe with Jesus.
REPENT IMMEDIATELY - Fall to your knees and cry out to God.
REFUSE THE MARK - Taking it damns you eternally (Revelation 14:9-11).
PREPARE FOR MARTYRDOM - This becomes your path to reunion.
2 Samuel 12:23 When King David's infant son died, he said: "I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me." David knew with absolute certainty he would see his child again in paradise."
Your children will be waiting for you in paradise if you remain faithful unto death.
The Desperate Plea
But parents, I'm BEGGING you - choose Jesus TODAY so you can go up together as a family. Don't put your children through the trauma of wondering why mommy and daddy didn't come with them to Jesus.
Don't put yourself through seven years of hell on earth when you could have seven years of celebration in heaven.
THE RICH FOOL'S FATAL MISTAKE
"This Night Your Soul Will Be Required"
Luke 12:16-21 "And He told them a parable, saying, 'The land of a rich man was very productive. And he began reasoning to himself, saying, "What shall I do, since I have no place to store my crops?" Then he said, "This is what I will do: I will tear down my barns and build larger ones, and there I will store all my grain and my goods. And I will say to my soul, 'Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years to come; take your ease, eat, drink and be merry.'" But God said to him, 'You fool! This very night your soul is required of you; and now who will own what you have prepared?' So is the man who stores up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.'"
God said to him: "Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?"
The Three Fatal Assumptions
1. "I have time" - "many years" ahead
2. "I control my life" - "I will do this and that"
3. "My things matter" - "my barns, my goods, my soul"
But God called him a FOOL because:
His death came "THIS NIGHT" - suddenly, unexpectedly.
He had no control over his lifespan.
His possessions became worthless the moment he died.
Don't Be the Rich Fool Today
You think you have time, but you may not have tonight. You think you control your life, but God holds your breath. You think your career, your house, your plans matter, but they're all worthless if you miss the Harpazo.
Proverbs 27:1 "Do not boast about tomorrow, for you do not know what a day may bring forth."
James 4:14 "You do not know what will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that appears for a little time and then vanishes away."
The Harpazo will come "as a thief in the night" (1 Thessalonians 5:2). You may not have tomorrow.
JESUS HAS DONE EVERYTHING
The Finished Work of the Cross
John 19:30 - Jesus' final words: "It is finished!"
The Greek word "tetelestai" was written on bills when they were PAID IN FULL.
What Jesus accomplished:
Paid the complete price for sin - Your debt is settled.
Satisfied God's justice - His wrath was poured out on Jesus.
Defeated death - His resurrection guarantees yours.
Opened the way to God - The veil was torn, access is open.
Secured your eternal inheritance - You're sealed by the Holy Spirit.
Your Part: Only Believe
John 6:29: Jesus said, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."
The ONLY "work" God requires is to believe.
Acts 16:31 "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved."
Romans 1:16 "I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes."
Belief is not mental agreement - it's TRUST and DEPENDENCE. Like the thief on the cross, you must trust Jesus completely with your eternal destiny.
THE KINGDOM HAS COME NEAR
Jesus' Primary Mission
Luke 4:43 "I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent."
Every parable Jesus told was about the Kingdom:
How to enter it (child-like faith).
How to live in it (total dependence on God).
How to prepare for its coming (wise virgins with oil).
What happens to those who reject it (outer darkness).
Salvation = Kingdom Entrance
John 3:3 "Unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
Mark 10:15 "Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child shall not enter it."
When you receive Jesus as Savior, you're becoming a citizen of God's eternal Kingdom.
Colossians 1:13 "He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son."
THE INVITATION IS GOING OUT RIGHT NOW
The Great Banquet
Luke 14:16-17 "But He said to him, 'A man was giving a big dinner, and he invited many; and at the dinner hour he sent his slave to say to those who had been invited, "Come, for everything is ready now."'"
The feast is COMPLETELY PREPARED. Nothing more needs to be done. This is GRACE - the work is finished.
The Three Excuses That Damn Souls
The three invited guests made excuses:
"I have bought a piece of ground" - REAL ESTATE (earthly security),
"I have bought five yoke of oxen" - BUSINESS (earthly productivity).
"I have married a wife" - RELATIONSHIPS (earthly affections).
The master's response: "None of those men who were invited shall taste my supper" (Luke 14:24)
Don't Make These Excuses Today
Don't say:
"I have too much going on right now"
"I need to focus on my career first"
"My family wouldn't understand"
"I'm too young to get religious"
"I'm too old to change"
"I'll think about it later"
The invitation is going out NOW. Don't make excuses that will cost you eternity.
THE CALL TO SALVATION
How to Be Born Again
If you've never been truly born again, here's how:
STEP 1: Acknowledge Your Condition Like the thief on the cross, admit: "I am a sinner deserving judgment."
STEP 2: Understand What Jesus Did He took your punishment, paid your debt, died your death, rose for your justification.
STEP 3: Repent and Believe Ask King Jesus to change your mind about sin and about Jesus. Turn from trusting yourself to trusting Christ alone.
STEP 4: Call Upon the Lord Romans 10:13: "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Ask the Holy Spirit to come and dwell within you, sealing you IN CHRIST forever.
The Prayer of Salvation
If you're ready to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, pray this prayer with sincere faith:
"Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner deserving judgment. You are my Lord, the only LORD. I believe that You died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. I repent of my sins and trust in You alone for my salvation. Please forgive me, come into my heart, and make me Your child. I receive You as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for saving me and giving me eternal life. In Jesus' name, Amen."
BELIEVE IN CHRIST THAT YOU ARE SAVED
1 John 5:13 "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life."
If you prayed that prayer sincerely, you are NOW:
Forgiven of all sin - past, present, and future.
A child of God - adopted into His family.
Sealed by the Holy Spirit - guaranteed eternal security.
Ready for the Harpazo - when it happens, you go up.
FOR THOSE ALREADY SAVED
Are You Ready for the Harpazo?
If you're already born again, I have questions for you:
Are you living like the King is coming? (Matthew 24:44)
Are you using earthly resources for eternal gain? (Luke 16:9)
Are you making disciples, not just church attenders? (Matthew 28:19)
Is your oil burning brightly? (Matthew 25:4)
Are you trading faithfully until He comes? (Luke 19:13)
The Unjust Steward's Wisdom
Luke 16:8 "The master commended the unjust steward because he had dealt shrewdly."
The steward understood:
Time was short - his stewardship was ending.
His position was temporary - authority would end soon.
Relationships mattered - he used resources to make friends.
Future security required present sacrifice.
Jesus commands us: "Make friends for yourselves by unrighteous mammon, that when you fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations" (Luke 16:9).
Use your remaining earthly resources to secure eternal relationships. Invest in souls while you still can.
The Wise Virgins
Matthew 25:4 "But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps."
The oil represents the Holy Spirit's fullness in your life:
Daily prayer and Bible study.
Walking in obedience to God's Word.
Living in fellowship with other believers.
Using your gifts for Kingdom purposes.
Maintaining spiritual disciplines.
Check your oil level TODAY. The Bridegroom could come at any moment.
A FINAL WARNING
The Great Separation
Matthew 25:31-33 "When the Son of Man comes in His glory... He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left."
There are only two groups:
Sheep - Those who belong to Jesus
Goats - Those who reject Jesus
There is no middle ground. No purgatory. No second chances after death.
The Rich Man and Lazarus
Luke 16:26 "Between us and you there is a great gulf fixed, so that those who want to pass from here to you cannot, nor can those from there pass to us."
The separation is PERMANENT. Once you die, your eternal destiny is fixed forever.
Hebrews 9:27 "It is appointed for men to die once, but after this the judgment."
Choose This Day
Joshua 24:15 "Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve."
Deuteronomy 30:19 "I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live."
You must choose TODAY. You may not have tomorrow.
THE BRIDEGROOM COMES
The Marriage Supper of the Lamb
Revelation 19:7-9 "Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb!"
The Church is the Bride of Christ. The marriage supper is prepared. The Bridegroom is coming for His Bride.
Will you be part of the Bride, or will you be left behind to face the tribulation?
The Final Questions
As I close this message - possibly the last sermon of the Church Age - I ask you:
If the trumpet sounded right now, would you be ready?
If Jesus returned today, would you go up or be left behind?
If you died tonight, do you know beyond any doubt you would be in heaven?
Are you trusting in your good works, or in Jesus Christ alone?
The Final Call
The door is still open, but it's about to shut. The invitation is still going out, but it's almost over. Grace is still available, but not for long.
Romans 10:13 "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Call on Him NOW. Receive Him TODAY. Don't wait another moment.
BE BORN AGAIN
If you've never been born again, if you're not sure you're ready for the Harpazo, if you need to make sure of your salvation - kneel where you are right now.
Don't worry about what others think. This is between you and God. Your eternal destiny is at stake.
If you're standing, pray this prayer out loud with me:
"Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner deserving judgment. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I confess my absolute depravity and absolute need of you, my Savior. Grant me repentance and absolute trust in You alone for salvation - YOUR PEACE. Please forgive me, save me and my family, and my community, and make us all ready for Your coming. I receive You, we receive you, as our only Lord and Savior. Thank You for eternal life. In Jesus' name, Amen."
If you prayed that prayer, you are now a child of God, ready for the Harpazo. LOOK UP!
Church family, as you leave here today, live like the King is coming - because He is.
Share this message with everyone you love. Their eternal destiny may depend on it.
The Bridegroom is coming. Be ready.
Maranatha - Come Lord Jesus!"
