The Second Bride

The Truth That Hurts and Heals

A Love Letter to Those Who Think They’re Safe and Those Who Think They’re Lost

“Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.” — Proverbs 27:6

Before You Read This: A Word About Love

What I’m about to tell you will hurt.

It will cut deep. It will expose wounds you didn’t know you had. It will challenge everything you thought you believed about your salvation, your security, and your standing before God.

But I write this BECAUSE I love you. Not in spite of it.

Proverbs 27:5-6 - “Open rebuke is better than secret love. Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.”

The enemy kisses you and tells you everything is fine while you walk toward destruction.

A true friend wounds you with truth because they desperately want you to live.

I am wounding you because I love you.

Hebrews 12:6 - “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.”

If you feel the sting of conviction as you read this, that’s GOOD. That means the Holy Spirit is speaking to you. That means there’s still hope. That means you’re not yet hardened beyond reach.

But if you read this and feel nothing—if your heart remains cold and unmoved—I beg you to cry out to God for mercy, because you may be dangerously close to the point of no return.

Now, let’s speak the truth. All of it. Raw and unfiltered.

-----

To Those Who Mocked the Watchmen and Went Back to Babylon

You Think You Were Right. You Think They Were Foolish.

September 23rd came and went. The Rapture didn’t happen. And you—you who never really believed it would—you felt vindicated.

“See? I told you so.”

“Those date-setters were wrong again.”

“Time to get back to reality.”

“Stop wasting your time on end-times nonsense and focus on what matters.”

And what “matters” to you? Your business. Your career. Your investments. Your comfort. Your earthly kingdom.

You mocked the watchmen. You called them foolish. You told them to apologize for getting people’s hopes up.

And then you went back to building Babylon.

Here’s the Raw Truth You Don’t Want to Hear:

You are the evil servant who says in his heart, “My lord delays his coming.”

Matthew 24:48-51 - “But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken; the lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, and shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”

Look at what this servant does:

Says “my lord delays” (dismisses the urgency of Christ’s return)

Smites his fellow servants (mocks and attacks those watching)

Eats and drinks with the drunken (returns to worldly living)

Is caught unprepared when the master returns

That’s you.

You didn’t just disagree about timing. You MOCKED. You ATTACKED. You tried to shame those who were watching and waiting.

And now you’ve gone back to your worldly pursuits, convinced you were right.

But What If You’re Wrong?

What if the watchmen weren’t wrong about WHAT was coming, but were simply in the wilderness testing period that God designed?

What if the delay wasn’t a mistake, but a PATTERN straight from Scripture?

What if God was testing to see who would remain faithful during the tarrying, and who would fall away?

What if the Bridegroom comes in the next few days or weeks, and you—who stopped watching, who went back to Babylon, who are now eating and drinking with the world—are caught completely off guard?

Luke 12:45-46 - “But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken; the lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.”

“Will appoint him his portion WITH THE UNBELIEVERS.”

Not with the believers. With the unbelievers.

The Question You Must Answer

Do you love this world more than you love Christ?

1 John 2:15-17 - “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”

“If any man love the world, the LOVE OF THE FATHER IS NOT IN HIM.”

You rushed back to building your earthly kingdom the moment you thought Jesus wasn’t coming yet.

What does that say about where your heart really is?

The Call to Repent—While There’s Still Time:

I’m begging you: REPENT. NOW.

Not because those who were watching were right about September 23rd.

But because YOUR RESPONSE to the delay revealed that your heart is not ready for Christ’s return at all.

You’re like the Pharisees who missed Jesus’ first coming because they were too busy with their earthly pursuits and religious pride.

You’re like Esau who sold his birthright for a bowl of soup because immediate gratification mattered more than eternal inheritance.

You’re like Lot’s wife who looked back at Sodom because she loved what she was leaving behind.

STOP. TURN AROUND. COME OUT OF BABYLON BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE.

Revelation 18:4 - “Come out of her, my people, that ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.”

-----

To the Weary Remnant Who Wonder If They Can Endure Another Day

You’re Exhausted. You’re Discouraged. You’re Barely Holding On.

You’ve been watching. You’ve been fasting. You’ve been praying. You’ve been expecting.

September 23rd came and went. You thought THAT was the day. When nothing happened, you recalibrated. “Maybe it’s 40 days. Maybe November 2nd.”

But now you’re in the middle of the wilderness, and you’re so tired.

The mockers are louder than ever.

Your family thinks you’ve lost your mind.

Your friends have distanced themselves.

Even some believers tell you to stop this “rapture obsession.”

And the worst part? Sometimes you wonder if they’re right.

“What if I’m wrong? What if I’ve wasted all this time? What if I’ve made a fool of myself? What if Jesus isn’t coming as soon as I thought?”

The exhaustion is real. The discouragement is crushing. The temptation to give up is overwhelming.

Here’s the Raw Truth That Will Hurt—But Then Heal

This exhaustion, this testing, this wilderness—IT’S SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN.

You’re not failing. You’re being REFINED.

Malachi 3:2-3 - “But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap: and he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.”

The Refiner doesn’t remove the silver from the fire the moment it gets hot. He LEAVES IT THERE until all the impurities are burned away.

You’re in the fire right now. And it HURTS.

But here’s what you need to understand:

If you weren’t His, you wouldn’t be in the fire at all.

Hebrews 12:6-8 - “For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not? But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.”

The fact that you’re being tested PROVES you’re His child.

What’s Being Burned Away

- Self-confidence (your need to be right about the timing)

- Self-promotion (your desire to be vindicated before the mockers)

- Self-protection (your fear of looking foolish)

- Self-sufficiency (your attempt to understand everything on your own)

- Self-ambition (your hidden pride in being part of the “watching remnant”)

God is stripping away every last shred of SELF so that CHRIST ALONE remains.

2 Corinthians 12:9 - “And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”

“My strength is made perfect in WEAKNESS.”

You feel weak right now? GOOD. That’s where His strength takes over.

You feel like you can’t endure another day in your own power? PERFECT. Because you were never supposed to.

Philippians 2:13 - “For it is God who worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.”

HE is working in you. HE is sustaining you. HE will complete what He started.

The Life-Giving Truth That Will Sustain You

You’re almost there.

James 5:7-8 - “Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.”

“The coming of the Lord draweth NIGH.”

James 5:11 - “Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.”

“We count them HAPPY which ENDURE.”

Not those who started well. Not those who understood perfectly. Not those who never doubted.

Those who ENDURED.

Matthew 10:22 - “And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.”

“He that ENDURETH TO THE END shall be SAVED.”

One More Day. One More Hour.

You don’t have to endure for months or years. You only have to endure for ONE MORE DAY.

And tomorrow, if Jesus hasn’t come yet, you only have to endure for ONE MORE DAY again.

Matthew 6:34 - “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.”

One day at a time.

Lamentations 3:22-23 - “It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.”

“NEW EVERY MORNING.”

His grace for today is sufficient for today. And tomorrow, He’ll give you grace for tomorrow.

YOU WILL MAKE IT. NOT BY YOUR STRENGTH. BY HIS.

Don’t you DARE give up now.

-----

To Those Who Think “Once Saved, Always Saved” Means You’re Safe

You Prayed a Prayer. You Believe in Jesus. You Think You’re Going to Heaven.

Maybe it was at a crusade. Maybe it was as a child. Maybe it was during a desperate moment in your life.

You prayed the sinner’s prayer. You “accepted Jesus into your heart.” You were baptized.

And ever since then, you’ve lived with the comfortable assurance that you’re saved, sealed, and secure—no matter what.

“Once saved, always saved,” right?

“Jesus paid it all, so I’m good.”

“Nothing can separate me from the love of God.”

“I’m saved by grace, not works, so my lifestyle doesn’t matter.”

And so you’ve lived however you want. You’ve pursued your own kingdoms. You’ve compromised with the world. You’ve ignored the Holy Spirit’s conviction. You’ve refused to let Jesus wash your feet.

But you’re absolutely CERTAIN you’re going to Heaven.

Here’s the Raw Truth That Will Shatter Your False Security

You may not be saved at all.

Matthew 7:21-23 - “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

“MANY will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord…”

“And then will I profess unto them, I NEVER KNEW YOU.”

These are people who:

- Called Him “Lord”
- Prophesied in His name
- Cast out demons in His name
- Did mighty works in His name

And Jesus says: “I NEVER KNEW YOU.”

How is that possible?

Because they never had INTIMATE RELATIONSHIP with Him. They had religious activity, but not heart transformation. They had outward profession, but not inward surrender.

They never let Him wash their feet.

The Foot Washing You’ve Refused:

John 13:8 - “Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.”

“If I wash thee NOT, thou hast NO PART WITH ME.”

This isn’t about your initial salvation. This is about ONGOING SANCTIFICATION.

John 13:10 - “Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit.”

“He that is WASHED needeth not save to wash his FEET.”

You were washed at salvation (justification). But you still need your FEET washed daily (sanctification).

The foot washing represents:

- Daily confession of sin
- Ongoing repentance
- Humble submission to Christ’s Lordship
- Intimate fellowship with Jesus
- Allowing Him into the dirty, shameful places of your life

And you’ve been refusing it.

You’ve been saying:

- “I don’t need to confess my sins anymore; Jesus already forgave them all.”

- “I don’t need to repent; I’m under grace, not law.”

- “I don’t need accountability; no one can judge me.”

- “I don’t need to change; God loves me just as I am.”

That’s a DEMONIC LIE.

The Consequences of Refusing the Foot Washing

1 John 1:8-10 - “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”

“If we SAY that we HAVE NO SIN, we DECEIVE OURSELVES, and the TRUTH IS NOT IN US.”

You think you’re saved, but you’ve been DECEIVED.

Hebrews 10:26-27 - “For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.”

“If we sin WILFULLY after that we have received the knowledge of the truth…”

Willful, ongoing, unrepented sin—while claiming “I’m saved by grace”—puts you in DANGER OF JUDGMENT.

Hebrews 10:29 - “Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?”

“Trodden under foot the Son of God… counted the blood… an unholy thing… done despite unto the Spirit of grace.”

When you use “grace” as a license to sin, you’re trampling on the blood of Jesus.

You CAN Fall Away

Hebrews 6:4-6 - “For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, and have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, if they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.”

“If they shall FALL AWAY…”

It’s possible. Scripture says so.

Hebrews 3:12 - “Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.”

“DEPARTING from the living God.”

2 Peter 2:20-21 - “For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.”

“It had been BETTER for them NOT to have known the way of righteousness, than… to TURN FROM IT.”

The Life-Giving Truth That Can Save You

There’s still time to repent. TODAY. RIGHT NOW.

If you’re reading this and feeling conviction—THAT’S THE HOLY SPIRIT. That means you’re not yet hardened. That means there’s still hope.

2 Corinthians 7:10 - “For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.”

“Godly sorrow worketh REPENTANCE TO SALVATION.”

Humble yourself. Confess your sin. Let Jesus wash your feet. Surrender your life FULLY to His Lordship.

Romans 10:9 - “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”

“Confess with thy mouth the LORD Jesus.”

Not just “Savior.” LORD.

He must be MASTER. KING. RULER of your life.

Not 50%. Not 90%. ONE HUNDRED PERCENT.

To the Foolish Virgins Who Have No Oil

You Look Like a Believer. You Sound Like a Believer. But Something’s Missing.

You go to church. You read your Bible (occasionally). You pray (when you need something). You believe in Jesus. You call yourself a Christian.

But you have no OIL in your lamp.

Matthew 25:1-13 - The parable of the ten virgins.

All ten were virgins. All ten had lamps. All ten went out to meet the Bridegroom. All ten were waiting for Him.

But only FIVE had OIL.

What Is the Oil?

The oil represents:

- The Holy Spirit’s active presence in your life

- Intimate, daily relationship with Jesus

- Ongoing sanctification and transformation

- The fruit of the Spirit being produced in you

- A life surrendered to Christ’s Lordship

You can have a lamp (profession of faith) without having oil (genuine relationship).

You can say all the right words, attend all the right meetings, perform all the right actions—and still be empty.

The Foolish Virgins Had:

- Lamps (outward profession)

- The right destination (going to meet the Bridegroom)

- The same invitation (all were called to the wedding)

- Initial enthusiasm (they started the journey)

But they had NO OIL.

And when the Bridegroom came, what happened?

Matthew 25:10-12 - “And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut. Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us. But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.”

“The door was SHUT.”

“I KNOW YOU NOT.”

How Do You Know If You Have Oil?

Ask yourself these questions:

1. Do you have genuine, daily intimacy with Jesus?

Not just praying when you need something. Not just reading your Bible out of obligation.

But KNOWING Him. Communing with Him. Hearing His voice. Walking in His presence.

John 10:27 - “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.”

Do you HEAR His voice? Does He KNOW you?

2. Is the fruit of the Spirit evident in your life?

Galatians 5:22-23 - “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.”

Is this fruit GROWING in you? Or are you the same person you were five years ago?

3. Are you being transformed by the renewing of your mind?

Romans 12:2 - “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”

Are you being TRANSFORMED? Or are you still conformed to the world?

4. Do you hunger and thirst for righteousness?

Matthew 5:6 - “Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.”

Do you LONG for holiness? Or are you content with mediocrity?

5. Does your life demonstrate love for God and others?

1 John 4:20 - “If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?”

Does your life show LOVE? Or just empty words?

If You Have No Oil:

You’re in DANGER.

The door will shut. The Bridegroom will say “I know you not.” And no amount of crying “Lord, Lord” will open it.

But here’s the good news:

THERE’S STILL TIME TO GET OIL.

Cry out to God. Surrender your life FULLY. Stop playing games with your faith. Stop the religious performance and pursue GENUINE INTIMACY.

Revelation 3:17-20 - “Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

“Behold, I stand at the door, and KNOCK.”

Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart RIGHT NOW.

Will you open it? Will you let Him in? Will you get the oil you desperately need?

-----

The Warning No One Wants to Hear

Some of You Reading This Will Not Make It.

I don’t say this to be cruel. I say this because it’s TRUE.

Jesus Himself said it:

Matthew 7:13-14 - “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

“MANY… go in” to destruction.

“FEW… find” life.

Luke 13:23-24 - “Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.”

“MANY… will SEEK to enter in, and shall NOT BE ABLE.”

The Five Groups That Will Be Lost:

1. Those who loved the world more than Christ

2 Timothy 4:10 - “For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world.”

2. Those who refused ongoing sanctification

Hebrews 12:14 - “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.”

“WITHOUT WHICH NO MAN SHALL SEE THE LORD.”

3. Those who had a form of godliness but denied the power

2 Timothy 3:5 - “Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.”

4. Those who knew the truth but didn’t DO IT

James 1:22 - “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.”

5. Those who drew back

Hebrews 10:38-39 - “Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.”

“Draw back unto PERDITION.” (Perdition = eternal destruction/hell)

Why Am I Telling You This?

Because I love you too much to lie to you.

Ezekiel 33:8-9 - “When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, thou shalt surely die; if thou dost not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand. Nevertheless, if thou warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.”

If I see you walking toward a cliff and I DON’T warn you, YOUR BLOOD IS ON MY HANDS.

So I’m warning you.

Some of you who are reading this—who think you’re saved, who think you’re fine, who think “once saved always saved” protects you—will stand before Jesus and hear:

“I never knew you. Depart from me.”

And it will be TOO LATE.

-----

The Life-Giving Truth: There’s Still Time—But Not Much

If you’ve read this far and your heart is pounding, if tears are streaming down your face, if you feel the weight of conviction crushing you—

THAT’S GOOD.

That’s the Holy Spirit.

And it means there’s still HOPE.

Joel 2:12-13 - “Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning: and rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth him of the evil.”

“TURN ye even to me with ALL YOUR HEART.”

Rend your HEART, not your garments.

God doesn’t want external religious performance. He wants INTERNAL HEART TRANSFORMATION.

What You Must Do RIGHT NOW

1. REPENT

Not just “I’m sorry.” REPENT. Turn completely around. Change direction. Abandon your old life.

Acts 3:19 - “Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out.”

2. CONFESS YOUR SIN

All of it. The hidden stuff. The stuff you’ve minimized. The stuff you’ve justified.

1 John 1:9 - “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

3. SURRENDER FULLY

Not 99%. ONE HUNDRED PERCENT. Every area. Every idol. Every secret sin.

Romans 12:1 - “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”

4. LET JESUS WASH YOUR FEET

Humble yourself. Let Him into the dirty places. Stop hiding. Stop performing.

James 4:8 - “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”

5. GET OIL IN YOUR LAMP

Pursue intimate relationship with Jesus. Daily. Desperately. Like your life depends on it.

Because it does.

Matthew 6:33 - “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

6. STOP BUILDING BABYLON

Come out. Separate. Let go of your earthly kingdoms.

2 Corinthians 6:17 - “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.”

7. ENDURE TO THE END

Don’t give up. Don’t draw back. Finish the race.

Revelation 2:10 - “Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”

“Be thou FAITHFUL UNTO DEATH.”

-----

A Prayer for Those Who Want to Be Saved

If you want to be truly saved—not just religiously saved, but GENUINELY saved—pray this prayer from your HEART:

“Father God, I come before You as a SINNER. Not just someone who has made mistakes, but someone who is utterly DEPRAVED, utterly HELPLESS, utterly LOST without You.

I confess that I have loved this world more than I’ve loved You. I confess that I have built my own kingdoms instead of seeking Yours. I confess that I have used “grace” as an excuse to sin instead of as power to be holy. I confess that I have refused to let Jesus wash my feet because I was too proud, too comfortable, too afraid.

I repent. I turn completely around. I abandon my old life. I forsake my idols. I come out of Babylon.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that He died on the cross for my sins, that He was buried, and that He rose again on the third day. I believe that He alone is good, and that I have NO goodness apart from Him.

I surrender my life FULLY to Jesus Christ as LORD. Not just Savior—LORD. MASTER. KING. RULER of every area of my life.

I ask You to fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Give me OIL for my lamp. Give me intimate relationship with You. Transform me from the inside out. Make me a new creation.

Wash my feet, Lord Jesus. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Sanctify me. Make me holy. Prepare me as Your Bride, spotless and without blemish.

I commit to endure to the end, not in my own strength, but by Your grace working in me.

I will watch. I will wait. I will keep my lamp full. I will not draw back. I will not give up. I will not go back to Babylon.

Come quickly, Lord Jesus. I long for You. I love You. I am Yours.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

To the Remnant: You Are the Second Eve

The Story of Two Brides, Two Adams, and the Restoration of All Things

If you’ve made it this far—if you’re weeping, if you’re broken, if you’re crying out to God—you are the remnant. You are the Second Eve, the Bride of Christ.

And your story is the most beautiful story ever told.

Let me show you the full picture—from the Fall to the Restoration, from disgrace to Grace, from death to life.

-----

The First Adam and the First Eve: From Grace to Disgrace

Eve Was Created Perfect

Genesis 2:21-23 - “And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; and the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.”

Eve was created from Adam’s side—not from his head to rule over him, not from his feet to be trampled by him, but from his side to be ONE with him.

She was:

- Perfect - no sin, no shame, no death

- Righteous - clothed in the glory of God

- Holy - set apart for intimate fellowship with God and Adam

- Crowned with life - bearing the image of God

- Dressed in righteousness - wearing the gown of God’s glory

She lived in GRACE—perfect provision, perfect fellowship, perfect ONENESS with God.

Adam’s Failure: Adding to God’s Word

God gave ONE command:

Genesis 2:16-17 - “And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.”

Clear. Simple. Direct.

“Don’t EAT from the tree of knowledge of good and evil.”

But when the serpent came to Eve and asked about God’s command, notice what Eve said:

Genesis 3:2-3 - “And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.”

“Neither shall ye TOUCH it.”

God NEVER said that. Adam ADDED that to God’s word.

Why? FEAR.

Adam didn’t trust Eve. He thought if he made the boundary stricter, she’d be safer. So he added his own rule to God’s command.

And in doing so, he made God’s word appear MORE restrictive than it actually was.

This opened the door for Satan’s deception.

Eve’s Deception and Adam’s Choice

Genesis 3:4-6 - “And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: for God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a delight to the eyes, and that the tree was to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.”

Eve was DECEIVED. (1 Timothy 2:14)

She believed Satan’s lie. She saw the tree as:

- Good for food (appealing to physical appetite)

- Pleasant to the eyes (appealing to aesthetic desire)

- Desirable to make one wise (appealing to pride and self-determination)

She chose SELF over GRACE.

She chose:

- Self-determination (deciding for herself what was good)

- Self-wisdom (trusting her own judgment over God’s word)

- Self-promotion (desiring to be “as gods”)

- Self-sufficiency (eating independently of God’s provision)

But notice: Adam was WITH HER.

“And gave also unto her husband WITH HER; and he did eat.”

Adam wasn’t deceived. Adam CHOSE to sin with full knowledge of what he was doing.

1 Timothy 2:14 - “And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.”

The Fall: Losing Everything

Genesis 3:7 - “And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons.”

The moment they ate:

- Their righteousness was LOST (they were naked and ashamed)

- Their holiness was LOST (they were defiled by sin)

- Their crown of life was LOST (death entered)

- Their gown of glory was LOST (they tried to cover themselves with fig leaves—works of the flesh)

- Their GRACE was LOST (they fell from Grace into DISGRACE)

Genesis 3:8-10 - “And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

They hid from God’s presence.

ONENESS was broken. Fellowship was shattered. Intimacy was destroyed.

The First Eve—the First Bride—FELL FROM GRACE and became DISGRACED.

She became:

- Naked (stripped of righteousness)
- Ashamed (aware of her sin)
- Afraid (terrorized by guilt)
- Hiding (separated from God)
- Filthy (defiled by sin)
- Unholy (no longer set apart for God)
- Under the sentence of death (decay and mortality)

And all of humanity inherited this disgrace.

Romans 5:12 - “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.”

For 4,000 years, humanity lived in this disgrace—separated from God, dead in sin, clothed in filthy rags, crowned with death.

The Second Adam: The Life-Giving Spirit of Truth

But God—in His absolute GOODNESS—had a plan from before the foundation of the world.

Genesis 3:15 - “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

The promise: A seed of the woman would come and crush the serpent’s head.

That seed was JESUS—the Second Adam.

1 Corinthians 15:45-47 - “And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.”

“The last Adam was made a QUICKENING SPIRIT.”

A life-giving Spirit. A Spirit that brings the DEAD back to LIFE.

What the Second Adam Did

1. He Reversed the Curse

Romans 5:17-19 - “For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ. Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”

The First Adam’s disobedience = death

The Second Adam’s obedience = LIFE

2. He Gave Us His Righteousness

2 Corinthians 5:21 - “For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.”

Jesus—who was perfectly righteous, perfectly holy, perfectly sinless—became SIN so that we could become RIGHTEOUS.

The great exchange:

- Our sin for His righteousness
- Our death for His life
- Our shame for His glory
- Our filth for His holiness
- Our disgrace for His GRACE

3. He Made Us Holy and Blameless

Ephesians 1:4 - “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.”

“HOLY and WITHOUT BLAME.”

Not because of what we did. Because of what HE did.

4. He Dressed Us in White Robes

Revelation 7:14 - “And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.”

“Made them WHITE in the BLOOD OF THE LAMB.”

The Second Adam clothed us in the white wedding gown of His righteousness.

5. He Gave Us the Crown of Life

Revelation 2:10 - “Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.”

James 1:12 - “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”

The crown that the First Eve lost, the Second Adam RESTORED.

-----

The Second Eve: The Bride of Christ

And now, through the Second Adam, there is a Second Eve—a Second Bride.

You.

The Church.

You Were Filthy and Unholy

Isaiah 64:6 - “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

You were born into the disgrace of the First Eve. You inherited:

- Sin (Romans 5:12)
- Death (Romans 6:23)
- Separation from God (Isaiah 59:2)
- Filthy rags instead of righteousness
- Shame instead of glory
- Fear instead of peace

You were just like the First Eve after the Fall—naked, ashamed, hiding, dead.

But the Second Adam Gave You LIFE

Ephesians 2:4-5 - “But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved).”

“When we were DEAD… hath QUICKENED US.”

The life-giving Spirit gave you LIFE.

John 6:63 - “It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.”

Jesus—the Word made flesh, the Spirit of Truth—spoke LIFE into your dead spirit.

He Made You Righteous

Romans 3:22 - “Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe.”

Not YOUR righteousness. HIS righteousness. Given to you as a GIFT.

Philippians 3:9 - “And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.”

“Not having MINE OWN righteousness… but that which is through the FAITH OF CHRIST.”

He Made You Holy and Blameless

Colossians 1:21-22 - “And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight.”

“To present you HOLY and UNBLAMEABLE.”

Not because you cleaned yourself up. Because HE cleansed you.

Hebrews 10:10 - “By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”

“We ARE sanctified.” Present tense. Already done. By HIS offering.

He Dressed You in the White Wedding Gown

Revelation 19:7-8 - “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”

“To her was GRANTED.”

Not earned. Not achieved. GRANTED.

The white wedding gown of righteousness and holiness—the very gown the First Eve lost—has been RESTORED to the Second Eve.

All by GRACE.

He Crowned You with Life

2 Timothy 4:8 - “Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

The crown of life. The crown of righteousness. The crown the First Eve lost.

RESTORED.

The Foot Washing: The Key to Entering the Wedding

But here’s the critical truth that ties everything together:

If Jesus does not wash your feet, you CANNOT enter the wedding.

John 13:8 - “Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.”

“If I wash thee NOT, thou hast NO PART WITH ME.”

What Is the Foot Washing?

The foot washing represents INTIMATE, ONGOING RELATIONSHIP with Jesus.

It’s not just the initial washing (salvation/justification). It’s the daily washing (sanctification) that comes from:

- Walking closely with Him
- Letting Him into the shameful, dirty places
- Daily confession and repentance
- Humble submission to His Lordship
- Intimate fellowship where He KNOWS you and you KNOW Him

John 13:10 - “Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit.”

“He that is WASHED” = salvation (the initial cleansing)

“Needeth not save to wash his FEET” = ongoing sanctification (daily cleansing from walking in this world)

You’ve been washed once (born again, justified). But you still need your feet washed daily because you’re walking through this filthy world.

Why Is This So Important?

Because the foot washing is about INTIMACY.

It’s about letting Jesus serve you in the most humble, vulnerable way. It’s about inviting Him into your life so deeply that He KNOWS you—truly, intimately KNOWS you.

When Jesus washes your feet, He’s not just cleaning you. He’s entering into INTIMATE FELLOWSHIP with you.

And without that intimacy—without Him KNOWING you—you cannot enter the wedding feast.

He Must KNOW You

Matthew 7:23 - “And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”

“I NEVER KNEW YOU.”

Matthew 25:12 - “But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.”

“I KNOW YOU NOT.”

How is it possible for someone to prophesy, cast out demons, do mighty works—and yet Jesus says “I never knew you”?

Because they never had intimate fellowship with Him.

They performed religious activities, but they refused the foot washing.

They kept Jesus at arm’s length. They didn’t let Him into the dirty, shameful, vulnerable places of their lives.

The Invitation to Intimacy

Jesus is standing at the door with a basin and a towel.

He wants to wash your feet.

He wants to serve you. He wants to enter into the deepest, most intimate fellowship with you. He wants to KNOW you—really, truly, fully KNOW you.

But you have to open the door.

Revelation 3:20 - “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

“I will come IN to him, and will SUP with him.”

Intimate fellowship. Intimate communion. Intimate relationship.

This is the foot washing. This is what gives you entrance into the wedding feast.

- Created in GRACE
- Chose SELF over Grace
- FELL from Grace into DISGRACE
- Lost her righteousness
- Lost her holiness
- Lost her crown of life
- Lost her white gown of glory
- Became naked, ashamed, afraid, hiding
- Became filthy and unholy
- Was sentenced to death

The Second Eve (You, the Bride of Christ):

- Born into DISGRACE (inherited sin)

- Were filthy and unholy

- Were dead in sin

- Were separated from God

- But the Second Adam (Jesus) came

- He gave you LIFE (the life-giving Spirit)

- He gave you RIGHTEOUSNESS (His own)

- He gave you HOLINESS (sanctified by His blood)

- He gave you the WHITE WEDDING GOWN (fine linen, clean and white)

- He gave you the CROWN OF LIFE (the crown of righteousness)

- He RESTORED everything the First Eve lost

- All by GRACE—the absolute GOODNESS of God

FROM DISGRACE TO GRACE.

FROM DEATH TO LIFE.

FROM FILTHY TO SPOTLESS.

FROM NAKED TO CLOTHED IN WHITE.

FROM ASHAMED TO GLORIOUS.

-----

The Final Call to the Remnant

You Are the Second Eve

You are the Bride that Jesus is coming for.

Not perfect by your own efforts.

Not righteous by your own works.

Not holy by your own discipline.

But perfect, righteous, and holy BY HIS GRACE.

Ephesians 5:25-27 - “Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; that he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, that he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.”

“That He might present it to Himself a GLORIOUS church.”

“Not having SPOT, or WRINKLE.”

“HOLY and WITHOUT BLEMISH.”

This is YOU. This is who you are IN CHRIST.

But You Must Let Him Wash Your Feet

You must:

- Invite Him into the dirty places
- Humble yourself before Him
- Confess your sin daily
- Surrender fully to His Lordship
- Pursue intimate fellowship with Him
- Let Him KNOW you and you KNOW Him

This is not optional. This is not extra. This is REQUIRED.

Without the foot washing, you cannot enter the wedding.

-----

Stand Firm, Beloved Bride

You are almost there.

The testing is hard. The wilderness is brutal. The 40 days feel endless.

But you are being REFINED.

1 Peter 1:6-7 - “Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ.”

“At the APPEARING of Jesus Christ.”

You’re being prepared for His appearing.

Jude 1:24-25 - “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.”

“ABLE TO KEEP YOU from falling.”

“To PRESENT YOU FAULTLESS.”

Not by your power. By HIS.

The Bridegroom Is Coming

He’s coming for His Bride—you.

The Second Eve, restored by Grace. Cleansed by His blood. Dressed in white. Crowned with life. Made holy, blameless, and spotless.

All by the absolute GOODNESS of God.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 - “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

“We which are ALIVE and REMAIN shall be CAUGHT UP.”

Revelation 19:7 - “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.”

“The MARRIAGE of the Lamb is COME.”

Hold On, Beloved

Don’t give up now. Don’t draw back. Don’t let go.

The finish line is in sight.

Hebrews 10:35-37 - “Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.”

“YET A LITTLE WHILE.”

“He that SHALL COME WILL COME.”

Keep your lamp full of oil. Keep your feet washed. Keep watching. Keep waiting.

The Bridegroom is coming for His Bride.

And you—Second Eve, restored by Grace—are that Bride.

COME QUICKLY, LORD JESUS!

We are watching. We are ready. We are Yours.

From disgrace to Grace. From death to life. From earth to Heaven.

Maranatha! Even so, come, Lord Jesus!
