“In appearance the locusts were like horses prepared for battle: on their heads were what looked like crowns of gold; their faces were like human faces, their hair like women’s hair, and their teeth like lions’ teeth; they had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the noise of their wings was like the noise of many chariots with horses rushing into battle. They have tails and stings like scorpions, and their power to hurt people for five months is in their tails. They have as king over them the angel of the bottomless pit. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he is called Apollyon.”

This is terrifying: The delusion is so effective that even recognizing it as false becomes impossible for those who rejected Christ.

The Pattern of Judicial Hardening

Romans 1:24, 26, 28 “Therefore God gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to impurity… For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions… And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.”

- Common future (evolution together)
- Common enemy (those who resist)

It comes with signs and wonders
- Impossible to deny the phenomena
- Supernatural power displayed
- Appears to validate the narrative

Why Christians Won’t Be Deceived

Matthew 24:24 “For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.”

Key Truth: “If possible” implies it’s NOT possible. The elect cannot be ultimately deceived.

Why:

The Holy Spirit’s testimony
- John 16:13 - “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth”
- Believers have internal witness to truth

Knowledge of Scripture

The “Aliens” Revealed and Defeated: The demonic powers that appeared as advanced beings are shown to be nothing before Christ. Their signs and wonders are worthless. Their armies fall at a word.

Satan Bound

Revelation 20:1-3 “Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain. And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years, and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.”

Key Truth: Satan—the orchestrator of the entire “alien” deception—is bound and imprisoned for 1,000 years. His deception is ended.

The Great White Throne Judgment

The New Heaven and New Earth

For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved… For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
