A Message to the Christians of the Great Basin Region: Remember Who You Are

Brothers and sisters in Christ across Utah, Idaho, Nevada, and beyond—do you not know how blessed we are? We live in freedom. We worship without fear. Our pantries are full. Our homes are spacious. Our closets overflow. But do we remember why we were given so much? Not for selfish comfort, but for sacrificial love. You were not born in America because of merit or goodness. You contributed nothing to your birthplace, your wealth, your peace, your citizenship. These were given. And now, they must be given back.

"What do you have that you did not receive? And if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?" 1 Corinthians 4:7

We are citizens of Heaven, not consumers of earth. We were bought with a price. We are not our own. We are His—His body, His voice, His hands, His feet. The Cross was not a comfortable symbol; it was a brutal death sentence. Jesus bore it for us. Now, we must carry ours—daily, faithfully, gratefully.

"And He was saying to them all, 'If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.'" Luke 9:23

We were not saved so we could hoard blessings. We were saved to pour them out. Every room in our house, every dollar in our bank, every ounce of strength in our body—belongs to Jesus. He is the Owner. We are merely stewards. Not owners. Not lords. Just servants of the Most High, entrusted with His goodness to reflect His glory.

"Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?
For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body." 1 Corinthians 6:19–20

Why were you born in St. George and not Syria? In Cedar City and not Gaza? Why do your children sleep in safety while thousands cry in war-torn cities? Not because we earned it—but because God, in His mercy, entrusted us with more. Not to feed our entitlement, but to fulfill our assignment: to love radically, give generously, and serve joyfully--all by God's Grace working through Jesus' love.

"The earth is the LORD’S, and all it contains, The world, and those who dwell in it." Psalm 24:1

We are not here to escape suffering—we are here to embrace it. Like Jesus, we are called to lay down our lives. To present our bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God. This is not radical. This is reasonable. This is worship.

"Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship." Romans 12:1

We were created in His image, for His purpose, and by His pleasure. He alone is Sovereign. He alone is good. He alone is love. He made you because He wanted you. He saved you because He is gracious. He keeps you because He is faithful. You are one with Him, not because of what you’ve done, but because of what Jesus did.

"Worthy are You, our Lord and our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and because of Your will they existed, and were created." Revelation 4:11

"For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast." Ephesians 2:8–9

You are not your own. Your home is not your own. Your pantry is not your own. Your citizenship is not your own. Your purpose is not your own. Everything you are and have is by grace. And to whom much has been given, much will be required.

"Freely you received, freely give." Matthew 10:8b

So arise, Church of the Great Basin Region. Shake off Entitlementitis. Crush comfort culture. Open your doors. Share your food. Welcome the refugee. Shelter the orphan. Love the forgotten. Lay down your life, just as Christ laid down His. Let your home become His home. Let your life become His gift to the world.

"Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth." 1 John 3:18

He is coming soon. And when He does, may He find us ready—not hoarding, but hosting. Not boasting, but blessing. Not sitting, but serving.

"Blessed are those slaves whom the master will find on the alert when he comes; truly I say to you, that he will gird himself to serve, and have them recline at the table, and will come up and wait on them." Luke 12:37

If there was ever a time to open our hearts and our homes, it is now.

Children—precious, innocent, image-bearers of God—are being pulled out of the darkness of sex trafficking and human slavery, with nowhere safe to go. They emerge from unspeakable evil, not just needing shelter, but needing love, dignity, healing, and the unwavering presence of people who will say, “You are safe now” and mean it?

This is our moment, Church. Not to look away. Not to wait for someone else. But to open wide the doors of our homes and say, “Come in. You are wanted. You are loved. You belong.”

Let our living rooms become holy ground. Let our dinner tables become altars of restoration. Let our bedrooms become sanctuaries where terror is replaced with peace. These are not just children—they are God’s beloved. And He is calling us, His people, to be the answer to their cry.

The darkness is real. But the Light is greater. Let that Light shine through you. Through us. Now.

To the Courageous Bride of Christ in the Great Basin Region—This Is Your Time

This article is a battle cry and a love letter. It’s for every mother who has wept over a child she couldn’t protect. For every father who has cried out, “Lord, use me to make a difference.” It’s for the ones who can no longer ignore the cries of children crying themselves to sleep, unseen and unheard in a broken system that treats them like problems instead of promises.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort,
who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3–4

It’s for the saints who have been betrayed, beaten down, and buried by religion—but are still breathing, still burning, still believing. This message is for the remnant Bride—wounded but not defeated—who are ready to rise, reclaim territory from darkness, and restore hope to the hopeless through homes filled with radical love, relentless truth, and the glorious, unstoppable grace of King Jesus.

“Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

Wendy and I began our marriage and ministry 34 years ago, driven by this very ache, equipped as therapeutic foster caregivers, pouring our hearts into wounded lives. Today, standing humbly at this sacred crossroads, we believe with all our hearts that Jesus had "Grace Homes" in mind when He sent His disciples to heal, restore, and love radically 2,028.5 years ago.

“Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.” James 1:27

We've seen firsthand that authentic healing doesn’t happen through bureaucratic systems or cold institutional walls—it happens in homes. It happens when tender hands reach out, when loving hearts open wide, when families boldly say, "You are home now. You are safe here."

Abundant Life Family Care isn't just another foster care initiative; it’s a transformative Christ-centered movement, harnessing cutting-edge Web 3.0 AI technology to match children and families in crisis with specially prepared and radically compassionate homes—homes filled with disciples fully trained and equipped, ready to love like Jesus loved.

“Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth.” 1 John 3:18

As we launch ALFC, our deepest hope is that your heart will be stirred by the call of James 1:27—to care passionately for orphans and widows, refugees and trafficking victims, the lonely and forgotten.

“A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows, Is God in His holy habitation. God makes a home for the lonely; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity, Only the rebellious dwell in a parched land.” Psalm 68:5-6

We invite you, beloved Bride of Christ, to join us in a movement that will forever redefine what foster care can be, shaping destinies and restoring dignity, one precious life at a time. May your love overflow into action, transforming our homes into sanctuaries of grace and our communities into a haven of divine redemption.

A David-and-Goliath Moment for the Kingdom of God in the Great Basin Region

Something monumental is happening. An unstoppable force of truth, love, and radical generosity is rising to confront the oppressive giant of religious deception that has dominated the Great Basin Region for generations.

"Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted. This day the LORD will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you. And I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel, and that all this assembly may know that the LORD does not deliver by sword or by spear; for the battle is the LORD's and He will give you into our hands." 1 Samuel 17:45-47

Today marks the dawn of a bold new initiative that will reshape foster care, redefine community, and reclaim the territory from the darkness of man-made religion. Today, we announce Abundant Life Family Care (ALFC).

"Then it happened when the Philistine rose and came and drew near to meet David, that David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet the Philistine. And David put his hand into his bag and took from it a stone and slung it, and struck the Philistine on his forehead. And the stone sank into his forehead, so that he fell on his face to the ground. Thus David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and he struck the Philistine and killed him; but there was no sword in David's hand. Then David ran and stood over the Philistine and took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it. When the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled." 1 Samuel 17:48-51

Breaking the Chains of Religion

Religion demands everything yet offers nothing in return. It drains life and joy, replacing genuine relationships with burdensome rituals, leaving families fractured and hearts empty. It’s time we, as God's beloved, say, "No more!"

"It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery." Galatians 5:1

The prophet Isaiah wrote, “Is this not the fast that I choose: to loosen the bonds of wickedness, to undo the bands of the yoke, and to let the oppressed go free and break every yoke?” (Isaiah 58:6 NASB). Guided by this divine mandate, KINGDOM Empowered, in partnership with Jay’s Foundation, stands united in declaring war against religious deception, starting with the formidable stronghold of the LDS Church, whose corruption, financial secrecy, and religious abuse have held Utah captive for far too long.

"Is this not the fast which I choose,
To loosen the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the bands of the yoke,
And to let the oppressed go free
And break every yoke?" Isaiah 58:6

Introducing Abundant Life Family Care - A Revolutionary Foster Care Ecosystem

ALFC is not merely a private foster care agency—it’s a movement, a Web 3.0-powered Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), designed to transform “foster care” through an Airbnb-like digital platform. Licensed private foster families (Grace Homes) across Utah will soon be able open their doors transparently and compassionately, showcasing their homes, hearts, and services in a revolutionary new ministry.

Leveraging cutting-edge artificial intelligence, ALFC will be able to carefully match vulnerable children and families—immigrants, refugees, single parents, disabled, elderly—with the perfect home environment, specialized care, and comprehensive wraparound social support services.

"A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows, Is God in His holy habitation.
God makes a home for the lonely; He leads out the prisoners into prosperity,
Only the rebellious dwell in a parched land." Psalm 68:5-6

Through blockchain-enabled systems, financial transparency will be guaranteed, service payments immediate, and community governance remains decentralized, empowering the foster care stakeholders to participate actively in shaping policies and faithfully stewarding operations.

Grace Homes: Sanctuaries of Transformation and Healing

Each Grace Home is more than a private foster care placement—it's a sanctuary where trauma-informed care meets Christ-centered compassion. Grace families are rigorously trained through our foundational therapeutic foster care training. In addition, ALFC Grace Homes are uniquely equipped through our advanced Christian discipleship resources.

These homes, staffed by loving disciples of Jesus, are trained and equipped to address physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs. Grace Homes offer a vision of humanity restored—safe havens where vulnerable children experience authentic healing, family life, dignity, and love, often for the very first time.

"Come to Me, all who are weary and heavy-laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Matthew 11:28-29

Imagine the Following Testimony of God's Goodness Through Grace

Imagine meeting Ana and the Mitchells, modern-day evangelists sharing their testimony titled, "From Terror to Trust."

"Ana's journey began at 11 years old, fleeing Honduras after witnessing the violent murder of both parents by a local gang. She arrived in Texas alone, traumatized, and unable to speak English. The foster system, overcrowded and overwhelmed, bounced her between temporary shelters, each stay intensifying her trauma. Finally, ALFC’s Logos AI matched her with the Mitchell family, Grace Home leaders in Utah.

Tom Mitchell, a combat veteran turned farmer, and his wife, Sarah, a licensed trauma therapist, had transformed their home into a sanctuary specifically designed for deep trauma recovery. When Ana arrived, she did not speak for weeks, fear and mistrust radiating from her eyes.

Day by day, through consistent patience, unconditional love, and professional care, Ana's silence eventually broke. It happened one evening at dinner. She quietly whispered, “Gracias…Thank you for not giving up.” Today, Ana sings in the church choir and regularly mentors younger refugee children. The Mitchell family credits Ana's healing as the miraculous, mutual transformation God intended for all of them."

Building Grace Hubs and Networks for Comprehensive Care

Our unique community care model expands beyond individual Grace Homes into community-based Grace Hubs. These hubs serve as centers of holistic support, offering wraparound services including medical care, counseling, educational support, vocational training, respite care, and advanced discipleship training.

Integrated through advanced blockchain technology, our Christ-governed decentralized hubs ensure resources are efficiently allocated and transparently managed, creating interconnected Grace Networks that span across towns and cities, fostering mutual support and collaboration.

"And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near." Hebrews 10:24-25

The Radical Generosity Model - Stewardship that Changes Everything

Inspired by the earliest Christian communities described in Acts 2, ALFC embraces the early church model of radical generosity, directing 88% of ALL revenues invested DIRECTLY back into the local community, adequately equipped to serve all families and children in need.

This unprecedented financial stewardship model ensures that foster families receive ongoing support, crisis situations are swiftly addressed, and communities thrive economically and spiritually. Our revolutionary financial structure defies traditional nonprofit models, affirming that resources belong solely to God, managed by His faithful stewards until His return.

"And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common; and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need." Acts 2:44-45

Imagine Hearing the Miracle Testimony of Samuel and the O'Connor Family

Let me introduce Samuel and the O’Connor Family as they tell their story of renewed HOPE, "Finding Home Again."

"Samuel, a Jewish widower from New York City, spent his later years in deep isolation, abandoned by relatives, navigating a worsening health crisis alone. Discovering ALFC’s revolutionary foster care model online, he hesitantly created a profile, assuming no one would accept him at his age.

The O’Connor family from Idaho, deeply committed to serving elderly individuals, immediately opened their hearts and home, even learning Jewish traditions and kosher practices. Samuel's arrival was a poignant moment—he had forgotten what it felt like to be genuinely welcomed and wanted.

In the warmth of the O’Connor home, Samuel rediscovered his love for storytelling, soon sharing memories of his childhood during Shabbat dinners. Neighbors, deeply moved, started regularly attending these dinners, learning from Samuel’s life stories and wisdom. Now Samuel proudly says, “I thought I came here to find a place to die peacefully, but instead, I found new reasons to live and love.”

Preparing for the Imminent Crisis: Safe Zones in the Great Basin Region

Many believers today discern the hour and understand the signs. They believe we are living in the final days before the return of Jesus Christ—the time prophesied in Scripture when the Bride will be caught up to meet her Bridegroom in the air (the Rapture), and the lukewarm, unprepared Church will be left behind to endure the Great Tribulation. These sobering truths have awakened a deep urgency in the Body of Christ, as world events appear to be accelerating toward prophetic fulfillment.

"For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord." 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17

The threats are no longer theoretical. Wars and rumors of wars now echo from every corner of the earth. The war between Russia and Ukraine, escalating tensions with China, North Korea, and Iran, and the coordinated threats against Israel from Hamas, Hezbollah, and jihadist coalitions across the Middle East have many speculating that we are on the brink of World War 3—and potentially a global nuclear event. Here at home, unprecedented earthquakes, raging wildfires, crippling droughts, and violent storms are wreaking havoc across the United States, leaving trails of destruction and heightening the collective sense that everything is shifting beneath our feet.

"Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed." 1 Corinthians 15:51–52

In light of these prophetic warnings, Abundant Life Family Care (ALFC) is taking decisive action. We are proactively establishing Safe Zones across Utah, Idaho, and Nevada—regions of strategic refuge we believe God has prepared for such a time as this. These Grace-powered sanctuaries, rooted in divine stewardship and radical hospitality, will serve as holy ground to receive, shelter, and nurture thousands of individuals and families displaced by war, natural disaster, or persecution.

"In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also." John 14:2–3

Our cutting-edge, AI-powered platform will ensure rapid and accurate matching of emergency placements, coordinate crisis response with excellence, and provide wraparound care that ministers to the whole person—body, soul, and spirit.

"Because you have kept the word of My perseverance, I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth." Revelation 3:10

This is not fear. This is faith in action. The Bride of Christ must prepare—not only for her departure, but to rescue as many as possible before the trumpet sounds.

"For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Thessalonians 5:9

A Bridge to Our Jewish Brothers and Sisters

With antisemitism on the rise, ALFC is dedicated to preserving and protecting Jewish lives everywhere, starting here in the USA.

"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it." Hebrews 13:2

Informed by historical lessons of righteous gentiles who sheltered Jewish families during the Holocaust, we have intentionally prepared Grace Homes to welcome and support Jewish families with culturally sensitive care, kosher accommodations, and authentic relationship-building.

"I will bless those who bless you,
And the one who curses you I will curse.
And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed." Genesis 12:3

Imagine Being A Part of Maria's Restoration and Redemption

Try to imagine Maria Elena and the Garcias as they present their testimony of the "Restoration of a Mother's Dignity."

“Maria Elena, a disabled single mother from Phoenix, Arizona, lost her home and dignity after an eviction forced her and her five-year-old daughter, Sofia, into a shelter. With limited employment options and deteriorating hope, Maria Elena found ALFC through a referral from a local church volunteer.

The Garcia family in Provo, Utah, a Grace Home specializing in assisting disabled parents, immediately responded to Maria Elena’s story. Their ranch home was perfectly equipped with wheelchair access and adaptive features. Beyond physical accommodations, their home radiated empathy and empowerment.

Under their nurturing guidance, Maria Elena completed vocational training in graphic design at the local Grace Hub, and now runs a thriving small business from home. Her daughter, Sofia, excels in school and feels secure enough to dream about becoming a doctor. Maria Elena recently testified at a community event, "They didn’t just give me a roof—they restored my dignity and gave my daughter a future."
