After years of living in and supporting the world's religious-industrial complex, here's what I've discovered about the greatest cover-up in modern Christianity:

THE RACKET EXPOSED

Walk into any Christian bookstore. Count the prophecy books. Watch the conference circuits. Follow the money trail. These people are making BANK off your anticipation of Christ's return - while simultaneously mocking anyone who actually takes preparation seriously.

Here's the con: They publish book after book about the "any moment rapture" and "end times signs," get you excited about Jesus coming back, then laugh all the way to the bank when you actually start preparing like you believe it. They've turned biblical prophecy into a subscription service.

THE TWISTED IRONY

The same preachers selling you books about the ten virgins are the DEALERS in the parable - profiting off oil while having none themselves. They've made careers out of Matthew 25:8-9, literally selling what should be freely given.

Think about it: If these prophecy "experts" really believed their own teaching about imminent tribulation, wouldn't they be converting warehouses into food storage instead of building bigger churches? Wouldn't they be teaching practical preparation instead of selling conference tickets?

THE REAL RESISTANCE

But here's what they don't want you to know: There's a remnant who actually believe what the Bible says about preparation. Not the "prep for seven years of tribulation" crowd, but the "get ready for the harvest" people.

These believers are quietly:

Converting abandoned infrastructure into refuge systems

Building food production capabilities using ancient grains

Creating underground networks for the coming persecution

Pooling resources like Acts 4 instead of tithing to building funds

THE GREAT AWAKENING VS. THE GREAT DECEPTION

While the merchants count profits, the wheat is separating from the tares naturally. Those with the Spirit's oil are getting out of the religious-political system. They're not trying to reform it or vote it better - they're building parallel kingdom infrastructure.

The tares? They're doubling down on the system that killed Jesus - mixing religion with politics, promising peace and safety while building nothing that actually helps anyone.

THE UNDERGROUND RAILROAD 2.0

What's really happening is the emergence of a modern underground railroad - not for physical slavery, but for spiritual freedom. True believers are creating networks to help people escape the Babylon system before it receives its plagues.

They're using:

Decentralized organization (like the early church)

Resource sharing without institutional control

Focus on actual works instead of conference attendance

Preparation based on biblical precedent, not fear

THE HOPE THEY CAN'T KILL

Here's what gives me hope after seeing the whole rotten system from the inside: The people doing the real work don't need the system's approval. They're not trying to convince anyone or win arguments. They're just quietly building what needs to be built.

Like Noah building while the world partied. Like Joseph storing grain while Egypt ignored the warning. Like the wise virgins keeping oil while others assumed they could buy it later.

THE BOTTOM LINE

The religious establishment mocks preparation because preparation exposes their fraud. If people actually believed Jesus was coming back soon, they'd stop funding religious buildings and start funding refugee camps.

The political establishment mocks separation because separation threatens their control. If people actually believed in Christ's kingdom, they'd stop voting for lesser evils and start building greater goods.

But the wheat sees through it all. They're not waiting for permission or validation. They're not trying to fix the system from within. They're building the alternative that will be there when everything else collapses.

THE CHOICE

You can keep funding the dealers and hoping someone else will be ready when trouble comes. Or you can get out of the boat like Peter and start walking on water.

The merchants will mock you either way. The difference is whether you'll have oil in your lamp when the Bridegroom arrives.

The system is rigged, but the game isn't over. The wheat is still growing, the harvest is still coming, and the Master still keeps His promises.

That's the story they don't want told. That's why they mock the ones who actually believe enough to prepare.

But we're preparing anyway.

The pattern is clear: those who profit from keeping people dependent on their interpretations mock those who simply believe and wait in childlike faith.
