THE GOOD SEED

REMNANT FOLLOWERS IN THE GREAT BASIN: Look around… weep…

You feel it in the air. You sense the tension in the spirit. LOOK UP!

In a land defined by a deceptive blend of faith and confusion, you are living as a minority—a peculiar people planted in a challenging field.

The spiritual climate in the Great Basin can make you question everything: Who is real? Who is truly saved? Will I endure?

There is a war raging that most cannot see.

It is not a war of weapons, nations, or even political ideologies. It is a fundamental, eternal war of SEED. A war of DNA. A battle for GENETIC IDENTITY that determines eternal destiny.

Jesus described this battle in the Parable of the Wheat and the Tares. They look identical, they grow side-by-side, their roots are intertwined in our communities, churches, and even families.

But there is a hidden, unchangeable, divine eternal difference…

On one side: The GOOD SEED of the Son of Man, possessing an IMPERISHABLE DNA that is guaranteed to bear fruit and yield an eternal harvest.

On the other side: The BAD SEED of the evil one, a counterfeit that can produce nothing but death, designed to poison and confuse the true children of the Kingdom.

This is not a metaphor to make you feel uncomfortable. This is a profound, life-altering REALITY.

For those of us enduring in the field, understanding this changes everything about:

The certainty of your eternal security.

The true nature of the opposition you face.

Why the world—and many who claim Christ—will never believe.

Your destiny as the Wheat gathered at the glorious Harvest.
The enemy’s greatest tool is confusion. This is a call to cut through the noise, to settle your identity in Christ’s unchangeable, divine DNA, and to stand as the unshakeable remnant.

Let’s dig to the deepest layer—the layer most have never seen—and anchor your soul in the truth of who you are.

DNA of the Kingdom vs. Counterfeit of Darkness

Wheat and Tares—The Genetic Battle for Humanity

“The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil.” - Matthew 13:38-39

INTRODUCTION: THE DNA WAR

There is a war raging that most cannot see.

Not a war of weapons or nations.

A war of SEED.

A war of DNA.

A war of GENETIC IDENTITY.

On one side: GOOD SEED from the Good Sower (Jesus), planted in GOOD SOIL, producing GOOD FRUIT, yielding eternal HARVEST.

On the other side: BAD SEED from the Bad Sower (Satan), planted among the wheat, producing NOTHING, yielding eternal DEATH.

This is not metaphor. This is REALITY.

And understanding this changes everything about:

- Who you are

- Where you came from

- What you’re destined to become

- Why some people will NEVER believe

- What happens at the Rapture

Let’s dig to the deepest layer—the layer most have never seen.

-----

THE PARABLE OF THE WHEAT AND TARES

“Jesus told them another parable: ‘The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared.’” - Matthew 13:24-26

The Elements

The Sower of Good Seed = Jesus Christ (the Son of Man)

The Good Seed = The children of the Kingdom (believers, true sons and daughters of God)

The Field = The world (not the church—the entire world)

The Enemy = Satan (the devil, the ancient serpent)

The Weeds (Tares) = The children of the evil one (those belonging to Satan)

The Harvest = The end of the age (the judgment)

The Harvesters = Angels

The Key Question

”‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ ‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.” - Matthew 13:27-28

Where did the tares come from?

Not from the Good Sower.
Not from mutation of good seed.
Not from bad soil corrupting good seed.

From the ENEMY.

The enemy SOWED them.

-----

THE GOOD SEED: JESUS AND HIS SHEEP

“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me—just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep.” - John 10:14-15

Jesus Is the Original GOOD SEED

“Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” - John 12:24

Jesus IS the kernel of wheat.

- He fell into the ground (died, buried).

- He died (crucifixion, payment for sin).

- He rose (resurrection, firstfruits).

- He produces MANY seeds (all believers—His offspring).

“He will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand.” - Isaiah 53:10

We are His offspring. His seed. His children.

The Sheep Given by the Father

“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father’s hand.” - John 10:27-29

Critical truths:

The Father GAVE the sheep to Jesus
- Not “might give” or “will give IF”
- GAVE. Past tense. Already done.

Jesus KNOWS them
- Not learns about them over time
- KNOWS them eternally

They WILL listen to His voice
- Not “might listen” or “should listen”
- WILL listen. Guaranteed.

Jesus GIVES them eternal life
- Not conditional
- GIVES it freely

They shall NEVER perish
- Not “might not perish” or “probably won’t perish”
- NEVER. Absolute certainty.

NO ONE can snatch them
- Not Satan
- Not circumstances
- Not even themselves
- NO ONE.

The Good Seed Has Divine DNA

“Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well.” - 1 John 5:1

“Yet to all who DID RECEIVE HIM, to those who BELIEVED IN HIS NAME, he gave the right to become children of God—children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, BUT BORN OF GOD.” - John 1:12-13

BORN OF GOD = Possessing divine DNA

This is not metaphor. This is GENETIC REALITY at the spiritual level:

- Physical DNA = Natural birth, human parents, earthly inheritance

- Spiritual DNA = Born again, heavenly Father, eternal inheritance

“For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.” - 1 Peter 1:23

IMPERISHABLE SEED.

This seed:

- Cannot die
- Cannot decay
- Cannot be corrupted
- Cannot be lost
- Cannot fail to produce fruit

Because it’s from God, and God cannot fail.

-----

THE BAD SEED: TARES SOWN BY THE ENEMY

“But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away.” - Matthew 13:25

Tares Are NOT Human

This is where theology gets uncomfortable—but we must face it.

Jesus explicitly states:

“The weeds are the people of the evil one.” - Matthew 13:38

Not “humans influenced by the evil one.”

Not “humans deceived by the evil one.”

“The people OF the evil one.”

They belong to him. They are HIS.

Genesis 3:15 - The Two Seeds

“And I will put enmity between YOU and THE WOMAN, and between YOUR OFFSPRING and HERS; HE will crush YOUR head, and YOU will strike HIS heel.” - Genesis 3:15

Two Offspring (seeds):

The woman’s offspring = Jesus (and by extension, all born of God)

The serpent’s offspring = Satan’s seed (those who belong to him)

There is ENMITY (hostility, hatred, war) between these two seeds.

Not friendship. Not neutrality. WAR.

Genesis 6 - The Nephilim

“When human beings began to increase in number on the earth and daughters were born to them, the sons of God saw that the daughters of humans were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose. The Nephilim were on the earth in those days—AND ALSO AFTERWARD—when the sons of God went to the daughters of humans and HAD CHILDREN BY THEM. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.” - Genesis 6:1-4

This was genetic corruption:

- Fallen angels (“sons of God”)
- Took human women
- Produced hybrid offspring (Nephilim)
- Corrupted human DNA

Why did God send the Flood?

To destroy the corrupted seed and preserve the pure line (Noah, who was “blameless in his generation”—pure genetic line).

“But Noah found favor in the eyes of the LORD… Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God.” - Genesis 6:8-9

“Blameless” in Hebrew = tamiym = whole, complete, without blemish, perfect GENETICALLY

Noah’s line was uncorrupted. That’s why he was chosen.

Jesus Identifies Tares

“You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.” - John 8:44

“You belong to your father, the devil.”

Not “you’re following the devil.”
Not “you’re acting like the devil.”

“You BELONG to him.”

He is their father. They are his children.

Two Kinds of People

“We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.” - 1 John 5:19

Two categories:

Children of God (good seed, wheat)

Those under control of the evil one (bad seed, tares)

Not three categories. Not a spectrum. TWO.

“Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” - 1 John 4:8

“Whoever does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work.” - 1 John 3:8

“Is OF the devil” = belongs to, comes from, shares DNA with

-----

DNA CANNOT CHANGE

Here’s the critical truth most miss:

SEED produces after its kind.

“Then God said, ‘Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds.’ And it was so.” - Genesis 1:11

“According to their various kinds” - repeated 10 times in Genesis 1

This is a LAW:

- Apple seeds produce apples from Apple Trees

- Orange seeds produce oranges from Orange Trees

- Wheat seeds produce wheat from Wheat Stocks

- Tare seeds produce tares from the Father of Tares

Wheat CANNOT produce tares.

Tares CANNOT produce wheat.

The Good Seed (Wheat) Will Always Produce Good

“A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit.” - Matthew 7:18

Cannot. Not “shouldn’t” or “won’t usually.”

CANNOT. It’s genetically impossible.

Remember, the SEED of the fruit, GOOD or BAD, is IN THE FRUIT.

Good seed has good DNA:

- From the Good Father
- Through the Good Son
- By the Good Spirit
- Producing good fruit

This is why true believers will ALWAYS eventually bear fruit.

Not because they work hard.

Not because they try their best.

Because the SEED inside them is GOOD, and good seed PRODUCES good fruit.

The Bad Seed (Tares) Will Always Produce Bad

“The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.” - Matthew 12:35

Out of the heart, the mouth speaks.

Out of the seed, the fruit grows.

Tares cannot produce wheat, no matter how hard they try, because:

- Their DNA is wrong
- Their seed is bad
- Their father is the devil
- Their nature is corrupted

This is why some people will NEVER believe, no matter how much evidence they see.

Not because they’re stubborn (though they are).

Not because they’re deceived (though they are).

Because they’re TARES. They lack the divine DNA to recognize the Good Shepherd’s voice.

-----

THE VINE, THE BRANCHES, AND THE GARDENER

“I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.” - John 15:1-2

Jesus Is the VINE

The vine provides:

- Life (sap flowing)
- Nutrients (sustenance)
- Support (structure)
- Identity (you’re part of the vine)

Without the vine, branches die.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” - John 15:5

“Apart from me you can do NOTHING.”

Not “you can do a little.”

Not “you can try your best.”

NOTHING. Zero. Zilch. Complete inability.

We Are the BRANCHES

Branches don’t produce fruit—they BEAR fruit–HIS FRUIT

Critical distinction:

Produce = make, create, generate

Bear = carry, hold, display

The vine produces. The branch bears.

The life flows FROM the vine THROUGH the branch, resulting in fruit.

You don’t produce fruit by effort. You bear fruit by abiding.

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” - John 15:4

Abiding = remaining connected, staying attached, living in union

The Father Is the GARDENER

“My Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.” - John 15:1-2

Two actions:

1. Cuts off (airo) - lifts up, raises, takes away

Here’s the stunning truth most translations miss:

The Greek word airo primarily means “to lift up, to raise.”

It CAN mean “to take away,” but the primary meaning is “to lift up.”

What does a gardener do with a branch that’s fallen into the dirt?

He LIFTS IT UP.

He doesn’t immediately cut it off—he lifts it up out of the dirt, washes it, and gives it the opportunity to bear HIS fruit.

This is GRACE.

Fallen branches (believers who’ve stumbled, sinned, fallen into the dirt of the world) are LIFTED UP by the Father.

Not discarded. Not destroyed. LIFTED UP.

2. Prunes (kathairo) - cleanses, purifies, purges

Branches that ARE bearing fruit get pruned so they bear MORE fruit.

Pruning hurts. But it’s for growth.

The Father cuts away:

- Dead wood (past sins, old habits)

- Sucker shoots (energy drains, distractions)

- Excess growth (pride, self-reliance)

So that MORE LIFE flows to the fruit-producing parts.

Pruning is proof of love:

“Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.” - Revelation 3:19

Good Branches from Good Tree in Good Soil

The entire system is GOOD:

Good Tree (Vine) = Jesus

Good Branches = Believers (good seed)

Good Soil = Kingdom of God (5th dimension)

Good Fruit = Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control (Galatians 5:22-23)

Good can only produce good.

-----

TARES: THE COUNTERFEIT SEED

“The weeds are the people of the evil one, and the enemy who sows them is the devil.” - Matthew 13:38-39

Satan Is the Tare Maker

Satan cannot CREATE. He can only counterfeit and CORRUPT.

He cannot make good seed. He can only make:

- Fake seed
- False seed
- Dead seed
- Counterfeit seed

Tares LOOK like wheat at first:

- Same height
- Same color
- Same appearance (externally)

But tares are POISONOUS:

The scientific name for tares is Lolium temulentum (darnel).

Characteristics:

- Looks like wheat until maturity
- Roots intertwine with wheat roots
- Contains toxins that cause:
- Dizziness
- Nausea
- Convulsions
- Death (in large quantities)

Spiritually, this is EXACTLY what tares (Satan’s seed) do:

- Look like believers at first
- Grow among true believers
- Intertwine in the church
- Spread poison (false doctrine, division, worldliness)

“For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, masquerading as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.” - 2 Corinthians 11:13-14

Joseph Smith is the perfect example.

Tares Are Impotent

Critical point: Tares cannot reproduce LIFE, only death.

Real wheat produces:

- Grain heads
- Seeds
- More wheat

Tares produce NOTHING viable.

Their seeds are:

- Toxic
- Empty
- Dead
- Unable to germinate true life

This is why Satan needs to keep SOWING:

Unlike God (whose seed reproduces exponentially—30, 60, 100 fold), Satan’s seed produces NOTHING.

He must continually sow more tares because tares cannot reproduce themselves.

Spiritually:

False converts don’t produce true converts.

Dead religion doesn’t produce living faith.

Counterfeit seed doesn’t produce real children of God.

Only GOOD SEED produces GOOD SEED.

Doubly Dead

“These people are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead.” - Jude 12

“Twice dead” (Greek: dis apothanosko)

1. Dead in sin (like all humans before regeneration)
1. Dead in deception (hardened, reprobate, beyond reach)

They are:

- Clouds without rain (promise but no delivery)

- Trees without fruit (appearance but no reality)

- Uprooted (no connection to the Vine)

- Twice dead (no hope of resurrection)

-----

THE SEED DETERMINES THE HARVEST

“Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.” - Galatians 6:7-8

The Law of Sowing and Reaping

What you sow, you reap:

- Sow good seed → reap good harvest

- Sow bad seed → reap bad harvest

- Sow to the Spirit → reap eternal life

- Sow to the flesh → reap destruction

But here’s the deeper truth:

YOU ARE THE SEED.

Not just “you sow seed.”

You ARE seed—either good or bad.

Good seed (believers):

- Sown by Jesus
- In the field (world)
- Will produce abundant harvest
- Will be gathered into the barn (heaven)

Bad seed (tares):

- Sown by Satan
- Among the wheat
- Will produce nothing
- Will be gathered and burned

The Harvest at the End of the Age

“Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.” - Matthew 13:30

The sequence:

1. Let both grow together

- Not separated now
- Growing side-by-side
- Sometimes indistinguishable
- Both in the same field

2. Until the harvest

- A specific time
- The end of the age
- The judgment day
- The Rapture/Second Coming

3. First collect the weeds

- Gathered FIRST
- Tied in bundles
- Prepared for burning

4. Then gather the wheat

- Gathered SECOND
- Brought into the barn (heaven)
- Secured for eternity

The Harvesters Are Angels

“The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father.” - Matthew 13:39-43

The angels will:

- Separate wheat from tares
- Weed out everything that causes sin
- Remove all who do evil
- Throw tares into the furnace
- Gather wheat into the Kingdom

Then the righteous (wheat) will shine like the sun.

-----

JESUS: THE LIFE-GIVING SEED

“Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.” - John 12:24

The Seed That Died

Jesus is the kernel of wheat:

- Fell to the ground (incarnation)
- Died (crucifixion)
- Was buried (tomb)
- Rose (resurrection)
- Produced many seeds (all believers)

“For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive.” - 1 Corinthians 15:22

Two seeds, two outcomes:

Adam’s seed = Death, corruption, sin
Christ’s seed = Life, resurrection, righteousness

The Seed That Gives Life

“For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.” - 1 Peter 1:23

Jesus IS the living Word:

- Eternal (always existed)
- Life-giving (produces life)
- Imperishable (cannot die)
- Unstoppable (always produces fruit)

His seed:

- Never fails
- Never dies
- Never corrupts
- Never produces bad fruit

This is why salvation is SECURE:

The seed inside you is IMPERISHABLE.

It cannot fail because HE cannot fail.

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 1:6

-----

THE IMPLICATIONS: WHO ARE YOU?

This changes EVERYTHING about how we view humanity.

Not Everyone Is a Sheep

Most Christians are taught: “Everyone is a potential believer. We just need to reach them with the gospel.”

Jesus teaches: “My sheep hear my voice… You do not believe because you are not my sheep.” (John 10:26-27)

There are SHEEP and there are GOATS:

“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats.” - Matthew 25:31-32

Sheep = Given by the Father to Jesus, hear His voice, follow Him

Goats = Not His sheep, cannot hear, will not follow

There are WHEAT and there are TARES:

Wheat = Good seed, sown by Jesus, produce fruit, gathered to barn

Tares = Bad seed, sown by Satan, produce nothing, burned

This Explains Why Some Will NEVER Believe

”‘But you do not believe because you are not my sheep.’” - John 10:26

Not: “You’re not my sheep because you don’t believe.”

But: “You don’t believe BECAUSE you’re not my sheep.”

The IDENTITY determines the BELIEF.

Sheep believe because they ARE sheep (good seed).

Goats don’t believe because they ARE goats (bad seed).

“Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.” - John 8:47

This Explains Perseverance of the Saints

Why do true believers persevere to the end?

Not because they’re strong.
Not because they try hard.

Because they’re GOOD SEED, and good seed ALWAYS produces fruit.

“They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us.” - 1 John 2:19

Those who “fall away” were never truly in.

They were tares among the wheat, not wheat that became tares.

Wheat cannot become tares. Tares cannot become wheat.

DNA doesn’t change.

This Explains God’s Sovereignty

God chose His sheep before the foundation of the world:

“For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.” - Ephesians 1:4

He SOWED the good seed:

“The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man.” - Matthew 13:37

He KNOWS His sheep:

“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me.” - John 10:14

He WILL NOT LOSE THEM:

“And this is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me, but raise them up at the last day.” - John 6:39

Why?

Because He sowed GOOD SEED (imperishable), and imperishable seed CANNOT be lost.

-----

THE RAPTURE: SEPARATING WHEAT AND TARES

“As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age.” - Matthew 13:40

The Great Separation

At the Rapture/Tribulation/Second Coming sequence:

Phase 1: The Rapture (Wheat BEGINS to be Gathered)

“For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.” - 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

First Wheat is gathered FIRST into the barn (heaven).

Phase 2: The Tribulation (Tribulation Saints and Tares Exposed)

During the 7-year Tribulation, both the Tribulation Saints (SECOND WHEAT) and the tares are fully exposed:

- Tares take the mark of the beast
- Tares worship the Antichrist
- Tares persecute remaining believers (Tribulation Saints)
- Tares true nature is revealed

Phase 3: The Second Coming (Tares Destroyed)

“They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” - Matthew 13:42

At Christ’s return to earth, the tares are gathered and destroyed.

Why Both Grow Together Until Then

”‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest.’” - Matthew 13:29-30

Why not separate them now?

The roots are intertwined
- Wheat and tares grow together in families, churches, societies
- Pulling tares now would damage wheat

Wheat needs time to mature
- Not all wheat is ripe at the same time
- Some believers are young, growing, developing

Tares serve a purpose
- They refine wheat (persecution, trials)
- They reveal true wheat (by contrast)
- They fulfill prophecy (deception, apostasy)

God’s mercy extends even now
- Even tares receive rain and sunshine (Matthew 5:45)
- God is patient, giving time for any true wheat to emerge

The timing must be perfect
- The harvest comes at the appointed time
- Not before, not after
- Exactly when the Father determines

-----

PRACTICAL APPLICATION: LIVING AS GOOD SEED

Know Your Identity

You are GOOD SEED:

- Sown by Jesus
- Born of imperishable seed
- Possessing divine DNA
- Guaranteed to bear fruit
- Secure in the Father’s hand

This is NOT about performance. This is about IDENTITY.

Abide in the Vine

“Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine.” - John 15:4

Abiding is not striving. Abiding is RESTING.

How to abide:

- Stay connected through prayer
- Remain in the Word (5th dimensional truth)
- Walk in the Spirit
- Fellowship with other branches
- Trust the Gardener’s pruning

Let the Gardener Work

When you fall into the dirt (sin, failure, discouragement):

He LIFTS YOU UP.

Not condemnation. Not rejection. LIFTING.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” - 1 John 1:9

When you’re bearing fruit:

He PRUNES YOU.

Not punishment. Not abandonment. PRUNING FOR MORE FRUIT.

“No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.” - Hebrews 12:11

Bear Fruit, Don’t Try to Produce It

You don’t produce fruit by effort. You bear fruit by abiding.

Stop trying to:

- Be more loving (abide, and love flows)
- Be more joyful (abide, and joy flows)
- Be more patient (abide, and patience flows)

The vine produces. You bear.

Your job: Stay connected. His job: Everything else.

Don’t Be Surprised by Tares

Tares are everywhere:

- In your church
- In your family
- In Christian circles
- In ministry

“But there were also false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you.” - 2 Peter 2:1

Expect them. Recognize them. But don’t waste energy fighting them NOW.

The angels will handle them at the harvest.

Your job: Be wheat. Produce fruit. Abide in the Vine.

Wait for the Harvest with Joy

“Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.” - Matthew 13:43

The harvest is coming:

- Separation is certain
- Wheat will be gathered
- Tares will be destroyed
- Righteousness will shine

Until then:

- Grow
- Bear fruit
- Abide
- Trust the Sower

“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” - Philippians 1:6

He WILL complete it.
Because GOOD SEED cannot fail.

All glory to the Sower.
All glory to the Vine.
All glory to the Gardener.

AMEN.
