The Father’s Garden - EDEN IS THE BLUEPRINT

God’s Eternal Purpose: One Plan, One Garden, One Glory

If God, the Triune God, had and still has THE plan—the ONE and ONLY PLAN for Humanity—which is to fulfill His delight and pleasure (EDEN), HIS WILL, PURPOSE, and INTENT, then our part is simple yet profound:

Accept His invitation by Grace, the invitation to join Him for all of eternity, or reject it.

“just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.” (Ephesians 1:4-6)

We are able to accept His invitation ONLY by FAITH—HIS FAITH—and HIS FAITHFULNESS, offered to us as a free gift.

“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)

The Triune God WILL fulfill His original and only purpose for Eden, HIS GARDEN—His Garden of His Delight and His Pleasure, which is US, His Children.

By Faith we join what He has already done, or we remain in deception, darkness, and reject God’s Grace by Faith.

“He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.” (John 3:36)

The Power of Asking in His Name

Jesus teaches us that as we humble ourselves and are transformed into His image-bearer by the inner working of the Holy Spirit, we can ask God for anything in HIS NAME and it shall be done.

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.” (John 15:7-8)

“In that day you will not question Me about anything. Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything in My name, He will give it to you. Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.” (John 16:23-24)

“Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it.” (John 14:13-14)

What Is “His Name”?

His name is His delight and His pleasure, which is His Glory.

His will is His delight and pleasure.

We find all of it written in the Word of God. There is no excuse.

When we ask “in His name,” we are asking according to:

- His character
- His nature
- His purpose
- His glory
- His delight and pleasure
- His will

And what IS His will? EDEN. The restoration of all things. The filling of the earth with His Glory.

THE LORD’S PRAYER: The Blueprint for Alignment

Jesus gave us the perfect prayer—the pattern for aligning with God’s ONE PLAN:

“Pray, then, in this way: ‘Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]’” (Matthew 6:9-13)

Let us break down this prayer as the blueprint for EDEN RESTORED:

1. HALLOWED BE YOUR NAME

“Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.”

His NAME is holy. His NAME is His nature, His character, His Glory.

To hallow His name is to recognize and honor His absolute GOODNESS, His sovereign authority, His delight and pleasure.

“Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God, the Almighty, who was and who is and who is to come.” (Revelation 4:8)

When we hallow His name, we align ourselves with His purpose—that His Glory (His absolute GOODNESS) would fill the entire earth.

2. YOUR KINGDOM COME, YOUR WILL BE DONE

“Your kingdom come. Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

This is THE prayer. This is THE petition. This is THE alignment with God’s ONE PLAN.

His Kingdom IS coming.

His will IS being done.

On earth AS IT IS in Heaven.

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” (Habakkuk 2:14)

What is His will?

EDEN.

Fellowship with His people.

His Glory filling everything.

His absolute GOODNESS displayed in and through His children.

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification.” (1 Thessalonians 4:3)

“This is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.” (John 6:39)

His will is that ALL whom He has chosen would be transformed into the image of Christ, bearing His fruit, displaying His Glory, and dwelling with Him forever in EDEN RESTORED.

When we pray “Your Kingdom come, Your will be done,” we are praying for EDEN. We are aligning with His ONE PLAN.

3. GIVE US THIS DAY OUR DAILY BREAD

“Give us this day our daily bread.”

Jesus IS the Bread of Life.

“Jesus said to them, ‘I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst.’” (John 6:35)

When we ask for daily bread, we are asking for JESUS—His Grace, His presence, His life-giving Spirit.

We are asking to eat from the Tree of Life EVERY DAY.

“To him who overcomes, I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.” (Revelation 2:7)

His Grace is new every morning. We depend on it daily. We cannot live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.

“Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.” (Matthew 4:4)

This is the daily sustaining Grace that transforms us into His image. This is the Rivers of Living Water flowing from the Tree of Life.

4. FORGIVE US OUR DEBTS, AS WE FORGIVE OUR DEBTORS

“And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.”

Forgiveness is the heart of EDEN RESTORED.

In the Garden, there was no sin, no debt, no guilt, no shame. Perfect fellowship. Perfect communion.

Sin broke that fellowship.

The Cross RESTORED it.

“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace.” (Ephesians 1:7)

We have been forgiven EVERYTHING. Every sin—past, present, and future—has been paid for by the Blood of Jesus Christ.

“He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.” (Colossians 2:13-14)

ALL debts canceled.

ALL sins forgiven.

And now, having received this infinite mercy, we are commanded to extend it to others.

“Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.” (Ephesians 4:32)

Forgive us as we forgive—thus reflecting His image of Mercy and absolute goodness.

When we forgive everyone—for everything—in advance, we are living from EDEN. We are displaying His character. We are bearing His fruit.

“And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions.” (Mark 11:25)

This is not works-based salvation. This is the FRUIT of salvation—the evidence that we have truly received His Grace and been transformed into His image.

5. LEAD US NOT INTO TEMPTATION, BUT DELIVER US FROM EVIL

“And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.”

We cannot resist temptation in our own strength.

We cannot overcome SELF by SELF.

We need HIS deliverance. HIS power. HIS Grace.

“No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.” (1 Corinthians 10:13)

Deliver us from SELF.

Deliver us from sin.

Deliver us from the power of darkness.

“For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.” (Colossians 1:13-14)

This is the prayer for daily victory over SELF. For daily dying to the flesh. For daily dependence on His Grace.

“I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.” (Galatians 2:20)

6. FOR YOURS IS THE KINGDOM, AND THE POWER, AND THE GLORY, FOREVER

“For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.”

This is the declaration of absolute certainty.

The Kingdom IS His.

The power IS His.

The glory IS His.

Forever.

“Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, indeed everything that is in the heavens and the earth; Yours is the dominion, O LORD, and You exalt Yourself as head over all.” (1 Chronicles 29:11)

This is why we do not bet against God.

Because the Kingdom already belongs to Him.

The power already belongs to Him.

The glory already belongs to Him.

EDEN was His. EDEN is His. EDEN will be His.

“To Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.” (Ephesians 3:21)

EDEN IS THE PLAN. FOLLOW IT.

God’s plan has never changed.

EDEN in the beginning.

EDEN at the end.

His delight and pleasure—dwelling with His people in perfect fellowship, His Glory filling everything.

“And I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, ‘Behold, the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any death; there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain; the first things have passed away.’ And He who sits on the throne said, ‘Behold, I am making all things new.’” (Revelation 21:3-5)

THIS is the ONE PLAN.

Join it by faith, or reject it and perish.

There is no third option.

EDEN IS THE PLAN. FOLLOW IT.

The Invitation: Ask Anything in His Name

Because Jesus has given us His Name—His authority, His character, His nature, His Glory—we can now ask ANYTHING that aligns with His will, His delight, His pleasure, and IT SHALL BE DONE.

“And whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.” (John 14:13)

What should we ask for?

- Ask for His Kingdom to come
- Ask for His will to be done on earth
- Ask for His Glory to fill the earth
- Ask for transformation into His image
- Ask for His Faith to grow in us
- Ask for deliverance from SELF
- Ask for rivers of living water to flow from us
- Ask for the fruit of the Spirit to be produced in us
- Ask for unity with the Triune God
- Ask for EDEN to be restored

And He will do it.

Not because we deserve it.

Not because we earned it.

But because we asked in HIS NAME—according to HIS WILL—for HIS GLORY.

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples.” (John 15:7-8)

Final Exhortation: Align With THE PLAN

Do not create your own plan.

Do not follow human wisdom.

Do not trust in SELF.

EDEN IS THE PLAN.

God’s delight.

God’s pleasure.

God’s Glory filling the earth.

Align with it by FAITH—HIS FAITH, given to you as a gift.

Humble yourself.

Confess your total depravity.

Acknowledge you are NOTHING apart from Him.

And watch His Grace super-abound in your weakness.

“And He has said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.’ Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me.” (2 Corinthians 12:9)

EDEN IS THE PLAN. FOLLOW IT.

Ask anything in His Name, and it shall be done.

Hallowed be Your Name.

Your Kingdom come.

Your will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven.
