From the progressive promises of the Democrat Party to the national idolatry of the Republican Party; from the pure SELF-worship of the Libertarians to the cult of the strongman in the MAGA Movement—every single movement, platform, and ideology is built on one fatal foundation: SELF-GOVERNANCE. This single, original sin is the spirit of Babel, and it is the functional spirit of Antichrist.

Why Every Political Party, Platform, and Movement Serves the Antichrist Spirit

Stop choosing between two flavors of Babylon. Stop trusting in men. Stop building the Tower.

The choice is not between Democrat and Republican; the choice is between the Kingdom of the World and the Kingdom of Christ.

This is a full-disclosure wake-up call to God's people: Your political hope is a counterfeit gospel.

As an amateur biblical detective, I did what most Christians never do: I actually researched the party platforms. ALL OF THEM.

Not the campaign slogans.
Not the talking points.
Not the speeches.

The official platforms.

The carefully crafted documents that outline what each party actually believes and plans to implement.

Then I did something even more radical: I compared them to Scripture.

And I was absolutely devastated by what I found.

EVERY SINGLE POLITICAL PARTY IN AMERICA—without exception—is promoting a platform that directly opposes the Kingdom of God and advances the spirit of Antichrist.

Notice the language: “LET US… LET US… LET US…”

WE will build.
WE will govern.
WE will make a name for ourselves.
WE will determine our own destiny.

This is the heart of all political movements: “LET US govern ourselves.”

This is Babylon. This is rebellion. This is the seed of the serpent.

WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT HUMAN GOVERNMENT

Romans 13:1 “Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.”

Daniel 2:21 “It is He who changes the times and the epochs; He removes kings and establishes kings; He gives wisdom to wise men and knowledge to men of understanding.”

Psalm 75:6-7 “For not from the east, nor from the west, nor from the desert comes exaltation; but God is the Judge; He puts down one and exalts another.”

GOD establishes governments.

GOD removes kings.

GOD alone has ultimate authority.

Human government exists BY God’s permission, UNDER God’s authority, FOR God’s purposes.

The moment any government claims autonomy from God—the moment it says “We the People” determine right and wrong—it becomes Babylon.

All are attempting to build the Tower of Babel.

What They Officially Support (2024 Platform):

Abortion without limits - “Reproductive freedom” = child sacrifice

LGBTQ+ affirmation and expansion - Pride month, gender ideology in schools, transgender “rights”

Same-sex marriage - Direct rebellion against Genesis 1-2

Expansion of government control - More programs, more regulations, more centralized power

Climate change as existential threat - Creation worship, not Creator worship

Wealth redistribution - Covetousness enshrined as policy

Open borders - Erasure of national sovereignty (moving toward one-world system)

Critical Race Theory - Division by race, victimhood currency, guilt by skin color

Secular education - Removal of God from schools, indoctrination into humanism

What the Bible Says:

Exodus 20:13 “You shall not murder.” (Abortion is murder)

Genesis 1:27 “God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.” (Only two genders, by design)

Genesis 2:24 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and his mother, and be joined to his wife; and they shall become one flesh.” (Marriage is man + woman only)

THE VERDICT

The Democrat platform openly promotes policies that God explicitly condemns as abomination.

This is not political opinion. This is biblical fact.

Democrats have embraced the Canaanite religion:

- Sexual perversion (LGBTQ+)
- Paganism (climate worship)
- Idolatry (government as savior)

What They Officially Support (2024 Platform):

American exceptionalism - National pride, “America First”

Military dominance - $800+ billion defense budget, 800+ military bases worldwide

Individual rights above all - “My rights, my freedom, my guns, my property”

Law and order through force - Militarized police, mass incarceration

Limited abortion restrictions - Many support exceptions, or only state-level bans

Support for Israel - Often for political reasons, not biblical ones

Traditional values - But divorced from Christ, making them mere moralism

What Sounds Good but Is Still Babylon

“America First” sounds patriotic. But:

Matthew 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

Not “America First.” KINGDOM FIRST.

Philippians 3:20 “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Your citizenship is in HEAVEN, not America.

American exceptionalism is national idolatry. It says “We are special, we are chosen, we are superior.”

Only Israel is God’s chosen nation. And even they fell under judgment for pride.

The Capitalism Idol

Republicans worship at the altar of capitalism, free markets, and wealth creation.

But Jesus said:

Matthew 6:24 “No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth.”

1 Timothy 6:10 “For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.”

James 5:1-3 “Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries which are coming upon you. Your riches have rotted and your garments have become moth-eaten. Your gold and your silver have rusted; and their rust will be a witness against you and will consume your flesh like fire.”

Capitalism is not a Christian virtue. It’s an economic system that easily becomes idolatry.

The Military Empire

800+ military bases in 80+ countries.
$877 billion annual defense budget.
Endless wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Yemen.

Matthew 26:52 “Then Jesus said to him, ‘Put your sword back into its place; for all those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword.’”

Isaiah 2:4 “And they will hammer their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, and never again will they learn war.”

Romans 12:18 “If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men.”

America’s military dominance is imperial conquest dressed in the language of “freedom” and “democracy.”

It’s Babylon. It’s Rome. It’s every empire that claimed to bring peace through superior firepower.

The “Individual Rights” Idol

“Don’t tread on me!”
“My rights!”
“My freedom!”
“My guns!”
“My property!”

All rooted in SELF.

Luke 9:23 “And He was saying to them all, ‘If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross daily and follow Me.’”

Jesus calls us to DENY SELF, not defend SELF.

Galatians 2:20 “I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me.”

Not “I have my rights.” But “I am dead to self.”

THE VERDICT

Republicans offer moralism without Christ, nationalism without the Kingdom, capitalism without compassion, and militarism without the Prince of Peace.

They oppose the worst of the Democrat platform, but they offer a different path to the same destination: SELF-rule instead of Christ’s rule.

This is Babylon dressed in red, white, and blue.

THE LIBERTARIAN PARTY: Maximum SELF, Minimum God

What They Officially Support:

Individual liberty as the highest value - SELF is sovereign

Minimal to no government - “Don’t tell me what to do”

Legalize all drugs - “My body, my choice”

Legalize prostitution - “Victimless crime”

Open borders - No national boundaries

Abortion rights - “Government shouldn’t legislate morality”

Same-sex marriage - “Love is love, government stay out”

Absolute free market - No regulations, no restraints

The Core Philosophy:

“Do whatever you want as long as you don’t hurt someone else.”

This sounds reasonable. It’s actually satanic.

Judges 21:25 “In those days there was no king in Israel; everyone did what was right in his own eyes.”

This is the condition of Israel at its lowest point—total moral chaos.

Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”

What seems right to man leads to DEATH.

Proverbs 16:25 “There is a way which seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death.”

God repeats it because we don’t listen.

The Problem:

Libertarianism is pure, undiluted SELF-worship.

It says:

- I determine morality
- I decide right and wrong
- No one can tell me what to do
- I am my own god

Isaiah 5:20-21 “Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight!”

Libertarianism calls drug addiction “freedom.”
It calls prostitution “entrepreneurship.”
It calls abortion “autonomy.”
It calls sexual perversion “liberty.”

This is calling evil good.

THE VERDICT

Libertarianism is the political embodiment of Satan’s lie in Genesis 3:5: “You will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

It is SELF-deification through politics.

It is Babylon at its purest—humanity determining right and wrong apart from God.

THE MAGA MOVEMENT: Nationalism as Idolatry

What MAGA Actually Represents:

Make America Great Again - Nostalgia for a supposedly Christian past

America First - Nationalism bordering on worship

Strong borders - National identity as supreme value

Economic prosperity - Material wealth as measure of success

Cultural conservatism - Preserving “traditional values”

Populist revolt - Against “the elites” and “the establishment”

Personality cult - Following a strongman leader

What Sounds Right but Is Wrong

Many Christians flock to MAGA because it opposes:

- Abortion (to a degree)
- LGBTQ+ extremism
- Open borders
- Government overreach
- Persecution of Christians

These are legitimate concerns. But the MAGA solution is NOT the Kingdom solution.

The Core Problem

MAGA worships AMERICA, not Christ.

It says: “If we can just get back to the 1950s…”

But the 1950s had:

- Segregation
- Institutional racism
- Sexual sin (it was just hidden)
- Materialism
- Idolatry of prosperity

There was no “golden age of Christian America.”

Jeremiah 17:5-6 “Thus says the LORD, ‘Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the LORD. For he will be like a bush in the desert and will not see when prosperity comes, but will live in stony wastes in the wilderness, a land of salt without inhabitant.’”

MAGA trusts in:

- The right president
- The right policies
- The right court justices
- The right legislation

This is trusting in MAN, not GOD.

Psalm 146:3-5 “Do not trust in princes, in mortal man, in whom there is no salvation. His spirit departs, he returns to the earth; in that very day his thoughts perish. How blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God.”

The Strongman Delusion:

MAGA often functions as a personality cult around a strongman leader who promises to “drain the swamp” and “fight for you.”

This is the Nimrod pattern.

Daniel warned about this:

Daniel 11:36-37 “Then the king will do as he pleases, and he will exalt and magnify himself above every god and will speak monstrous things against the God of gods… He will show no regard for the gods of his fathers or for the desire of women, nor will he show regard for any other god; for he will magnify himself above them all.”

Every strongman who claims to save a nation becomes a substitute for God.

THE VERDICT

MAGA is nationalism baptized in Christian language.

It is NOT the Kingdom of God.

It is Babylon wrapped in the flag and holding a Bible.

It offers political salvation instead of spiritual redemption.

And it will fail, as all human kingdoms fail.

ANTIFA: Revolution as Religion

What ANTIFA Represents:

Tear down all systems - Destroy capitalism, police, borders, traditional family

Violent revolution - “By any means necessary”

Marxist ideology - Class warfare, wealth redistribution by force

Anarchist principles - No centralized authority (except their own mobs)

Victimhood hierarchy - Oppressor vs. oppressed as moral framework

Utopian vision - After the revolution, paradise will emerge

The Core Lie

“If we destroy the current systems, we can build utopia.”

This is the Babel delusion on steroids.

Romans 3:10-12 “As it is written, ‘There is none righteous, not even one; there is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God; all have turned aside, together they have become useless; there is none who does good, there is not even one.’”

Humanity is fallen. Destroying systems doesn’t fix the human heart.

Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is more deceitful than all else and is desperately sick; who can understand it?”

You can’t build utopia with sick hearts.

The Violence

ANTIFA embraces violence as a tool for change.

Romans 12:19-21 “Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,’ says the Lord. ‘But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he is thirsty, give him a drink; for in so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.’ Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”

Revolution through violence is Cain’s seed—murder to achieve SELF’s goals.

THE VERDICT

ANTIFA is Babel through revolution instead of construction.

Same goal: human utopia without God.

Same method: human effort through SELF-determination.

Every political party substitutes human government for Christ’s Kingdom:

- Democrats substitute government programs for the Church’s mission

- Republicans substitute American prosperity for Kingdom advancement

- Libertarians substitute individual autonomy for submission to Christ

- MAGA substitutes national greatness for God’s glory

- ANTIFA substitutes revolution for regeneration

All claim to offer salvation through politics.

All put trust in human systems.

All are building Babel.

All are antichrist.

Acts 4:12 “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.”

NOT the Democrat Party.
NOT the Republican Party.

ONLY JESUS SAVES.

Isaiah 43:11 “I, even I, am the LORD, and there is no savior besides Me.”

Politics promises:

- Justice → Only Christ brings true justice

- Peace → Only Christ is the Prince of Peace

- Prosperity → Only Christ gives abundant life

- Freedom → Only Christ sets captives free

- Security → Only Christ is our refuge

- Hope → Only Christ is our hope

Every political promise is a counterfeit of what ONLY CHRIST can provide.

WHY CHRISTIANS FALL FOR THE POLITICAL DECEPTION

Because we want:

Comfort without sacrifice - Fix things through voting, not dying to self

Power without persecution - Control culture through politics, not through suffering

Victory without the Cross - Win through elections, not through martyrdom

Kingdom without the King - Christian values without Jesus as LORD

Matthew 16:24-25 “Then Jesus said to His disciples, ‘If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it.’”

We want to SAVE America.

Jesus calls us to LOSE our lives.

These are incompatible.

“BUT WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!”

No. You don’t.

You have to do what JESUS COMMANDS.

And Jesus never commanded:

- Form a political party
- Lobby Congress
- Win elections
- Pass legislation
- Control the Supreme Court
- Make America great

Jesus commanded:

Matthew 28:19-20 “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Make DISCIPLES, not laws.

Acts 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

Be WITNESSES, not politicians.

Mark 16:15 “And He said to them, ‘Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.’”

Preach the GOSPEL, not political platforms.

“BUT DOESN’T GOD CALL US TO PURSUE JUSTICE?”

Yes. But biblical justice is NOT political activism.

Micah 6:8 “He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?”

Biblical justice:

- Protect widows and orphans (James 1:27) - Personal care, not government programs

- Feed the hungry (Matthew 25:35) - Direct action, not legislation

- Visit prisoners (Matthew 25:36) - Face-to-face ministry, not prison reform bills

- Defend the oppressed (Isaiah 1:17) - Church responsibility, not political mandate

The Bible NEVER calls the Church to change society through politics.

We change society by:

- Living as light in darkness (Matthew 5:14-16)
- Preaching the Gospel (Romans 1:16)
- Making disciples (Matthew 28:19)
- Demonstrating love (John 13:35)
- Suffering for righteousness (1 Peter 3:14)

THE KINGDOM VS. ALL KINGDOMS

Daniel 2:44 “In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever.”

God’s Kingdom will CRUSH all human kingdoms.

Not reform them.
Not Christianize them.
CRUSH them.

Because all human kingdoms—including democracies, republics, and constitutional governments—are Babylon.

They all say: “WE will govern ourselves.”

God says: “I will govern. And MY Kingdom will never end.”

Revelation 11:15 “Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.’”

The kingdom of the WORLD (all politics, all governments, all parties) will BECOME the Kingdom of Christ.

Not through elections.

Through CONQUEST.

When Jesus returns, He will:

- Destroy all human governments (Revelation 19:15)
- Judge all rulers (Revelation 19:19-21)
- Establish HIS Kingdom (Revelation 20:4)
- Reign as KING OF KINGS (Revelation 19:16)

There will be no Democrats in the Millennium.
There will be no Republicans.
There will be no political parties.

Only KING JESUS.

WHAT SHOULD CHRISTIANS DO?

1. REPENT of Political Idolatry

Confess that you’ve put hope in politics instead of Christ.

Acknowledge that you’ve trusted in man instead of God.

Turn from political salvation to spiritual salvation.

2. STOP Fighting Culture Wars Through Politics

The weapons of our warfare are not political (2 Corinthians 10:4).

We don’t change culture through legislation.

We change culture through Gospel transformation.

3. OBEY the Government (to a point)

Romans 13:1-7 - Submit to authorities

Acts 5:29 - But obey God rather than men when they conflict

We submit to government authority as under God’s sovereignty, but we NEVER compromise obedience to Christ.

4. PRAY for Leaders

1 Timothy 2:1-2 “First of all, then, I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity.”

Pray for leaders—even wicked ones—so we can live peaceably and proclaim the Gospel.

5. PROCLAIM the Gospel

Our mission is not political reform.

Our mission is Gospel proclamation and disciple-making.

6. LIVE as Exiles

1 Peter 2:11 “Beloved, I urge you as aliens and strangers to abstain from fleshly lusts which wage war against the soul.”

We are ALIENS. STRANGERS. EXILES.

This is not our home. We’re just passing through.

7. AWAIT the King

Titus 2:13 “Looking for the blessed hope and the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Christ Jesus.”

Our hope is not in the next election.

Our hope is in the RETURN OF JESUS.

THE FINAL WORD: COME OUT OF BABYLON

Revelation 18:4 “I heard another voice from heaven, saying, ‘Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues.’”

Come out of:

- Political parties
- Nationalist idolatry
- Cultural warfare
- Human kingdoms
- Self-governance
- Babylon

Come into:

- Christ alone
- Kingdom citizenship
- Gospel mission
- Spiritual warfare
- God’s sovereignty
- The New Jerusalem

You cannot serve two masters.

You cannot pledge allegiance to America and the Kingdom.

You cannot trust in politics and Christ.

You cannot build Babel and await New Jerusalem.

Choose this day:

Politics or Christ?

Babylon or the Kingdom?

Human government or divine rule?

The answer determines your eternal destiny.

CONCLUSION: The Uncomfortable Truth

Here’s what most Christians don’t want to hear:

Your political party—whichever one you support—is Babylon.

Your candidate—whoever you voted for—is not your savior.

Your nation—even America—is not God’s chosen people.

Your political activism—however righteous it seems—is not the Great Commission.

Every political platform is:

- Built on SELF-governance (the original sin)

- Rooted in human effort (works-righteousness)

- Aimed at earthly kingdoms (not God’s Kingdom)

- Destined for destruction (when Christ returns)

This doesn’t mean you can’t vote.

This doesn’t mean you can’t have political opinions.

But it DOES mean you must recognize:

All politics is Babylon.

And Babylon is falling.

So stop building the tower.

Stop fighting for a sinking ship.

Stop trying to make Babylon great again.

Instead:

Preach the Gospel.

Make disciples.

Love your neighbor.

Serve the poor.

Live holy.

Await the King.

Because the only platform that matters is the one Jesus will judge from:

The Great White Throne.

And on that day, He won’t ask:

“Did you vote Republican or Democrat?”

He’ll ask:

“Did you know Me?”

Matthew 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.’”

Stop practicing the lawlessness of political Babylon.

Start living as citizens of the Kingdom of Heaven.
